I've got a bit of a problem and if I don't fix this it could seriously wreck my Cs on eBay it's time to change and it's time to do it now welcome back guys to another video and today I'm talking about the one dreaded word that we all hate and that is listing I have done loads of videos about how to list what listing does for your sales and I'm not even taking my old device if you've been watching my videos for a while you know done a few videos about listing every day boost your sales and I'm really not taking my own advice reason being I feel like I'm a bit of a binge Lister on eBay if you don't know what bingee means it's probably best associated with drinking so you don't really drink you go out once in a while but when you do go out you absolutely hammer it and that's the same with me when it comes to Ebay listing I go on a binge listing spree listing 30 in a day and then I stop for a week and it's not helping my eBay store one bit my sales have been all over the place I'm not saying I don't sell anything but they're not consistent where they should be I'm wanting to have so many sales per day every day and it's just not happening and it's Wrecking my sales obviously I do not know when money's coming in I know eBay can be inconsistent but when it comes to listing that's one thing that will help your eBay and if it doesn't then maybe then it's just a product but I know I have got good quality products and yeah I'm just not listed them regularly enough so before we go into the video I just want to talk about some of the sales I've had over last night there's only been three but one's got a very funny story and also I got a comment to actually answer which was last night so we had fre sales last night two on eBay and one private I'll talk about the private one at the end because there is a really funny story well it is funny talking about it now but it wasn't last night two items on eBay that are sold with a forky bundle set which absolutely cost me nothing now uh I think I paid about a quid for a big bundle of forky unfortunately one of the forky items I wanted to sell separately because it's worth about 20 quid on its own but it's faulted so I just bundled it up with a load of other forky toys and I sold it for £1 13 the other item is something you might have seen well you probably haven't but I use a little Spotlight and it's always in the corner down here really nice Ikea bendable light I didn't really want to sell it but now I've got these two lovely lights and yeah it was time to go I sold that lamp for $19.99 I think I paid about3 for it a car about three or four months ago the final sale was a nightmare big shout out to Beth and Callum who bought it it is a gaming TV well sort of a gaming tv slvhs player made by Ferguson and it fetches on eBay between 70 to 80 pound I've had it over six months and I actually can't find out how much I bought for it probably was under a f um and they bought it for £55 cash in hand so I decided to go and drop it off for him they live in the town next to me and it was literally around about 8:00 well just before 8:00 when I left the problem was I didn't know where it was so I put it on the satinav on my phone and I forgot to charge my phone I had literally about 15% charge I mean it's only like a 10 15 minute drive but as soon as I hit that town my phone died I didn't know where this place was I didn't have a charger in my phone so I thought there's only so many places it could be because it's right next to an Aldi the only places I've ever been in this little town is the main town partk which he's which has got a few um which has got a few charity shops not that good because they're quite overpriced um and I thought it has to be around there I was driving around for about half an hour trying to find find this stupid Ai and I was going insane I thought should I just go home and they can come and pick it up another day or I'll drop it off another day and I thought no I'm actually going to find this place my mission tonight is to find this place after about half an hour I gave up I saw a shop bought one of them pathetic Inc car chargers and if you've added one of them we all know they don't charge your phone up I was literally waiting 20 minutes in my car for it to get 1% after 20 minutes the 1% bar came on and I switched my phone on and I found out where it was I was heading towards it and there was about four or five more turns to go and guess what my phone died again so I had enough I went to the local Petra station near that place I said where is Ali the bloke told told me go left go left again and go left again and it's right there luckily I remember the number and the address and I knew it was right next to Ali finally after an hour and 15 minutes it must have been I found the actual house and luckily Callum was up Beth was asleep cuz it was about half n or something like that I don't know something like that um so Beth I will meet you one day and say hello because they' both been low subscribers I actually knew Callum from years back um and he's a big gamer and he's collecting all the actual consoles and the games so now I've got somebody who might want to buy some of my games we've already arranged it I'm going to take some pictures of all my games before I bundle them up with consoles so Callum if you see any games in the videos when I do bundles of um consoles let me know but I will probably message you beforehand anyway but yeah sold that for 55 quid and made a 50 Quid profit off that we're going to answer a question now last night in my video I said if anybody wants to ask any reselling questions put them in the comments and I will answer them you'll get a shout out in the video so I had one comment last night from skateboarding people only asking when you're reselling what app have you found to be the most easiest to deal with customers when shipping Etc vintage eBay or Facebook if you're talking about what they actually like when it comes to the shipping they are all very different Facebook it's all up to you Facebook have got no control over anything you won't get no guarantees you won't get nothing as most of Facebook Market is run by like themselves basically you are doing the job yourself you are organizing either meeting up with a person sending money uh posting it whatever you know if you're selling or buying and you basically have to rely on each other not to fiddle each other basically and do one over on each other because it's all just trust I don't really tend to deal with um people who live in a different area because you can't trust them you don't know who they are I mean yes if somebody's buying off you you know yourself if you're trustworthy or not obviously you just send the details over like your bank account and then they will obviously send you the address and then you post it and obviously show proof of postage that is all you can do but when it's coming the other way around and you're buying something be very careful because even though you sent them money you got no guarantee they're going to send you anything um I personally wouldn't buy anything that isn't in your own area the only way I ever deal with Facebook Marketplace is if I go collect it myself so that's all there is there is no other like ways to deal with Facebook Market it is all down to you with eBay it's a bit different I always say that eBay really aren't the best when it comes to like shipping they are really good with global Shipping Market when you're sending stuff abroad because that is them dealing with everything they meant to check the parcel before it even gets sent abroad so if anything does happen it's on their head and you will always get a refund I've never had had a problem I've never had a refund sending abroad when it comes to like sending in your own country though it can be a bit tricky I suggest if you're shipping anything you make sure you take pictures of it because if you don't you might not have any chance of getting a refund especially with eBay they always will ask for some pictures the only time I've really had anything good comeb back from eBay is when I've actually sent the item and the person said they haven't sent it but if you've got tracking on it and it's got proof of address and it's been proven on the tracking it's been delivered eBay can't take the buyer's word for it it's been delivered you know we are not the actual delivery people are we and I've had so many angry customers telling me and saying where is my parcel why haven't you delivered my parcel making out like I am the person delivering the parcel as soon as it leaves my house it's nothing to do with me it's to doal with the delivery companies so um make sure it's all pictured nice so I tend to if it's an expensive item I tend to take pictures of it and then send them pictures to that person and then obviously get it tracked um if it's really expensive get it signed for and obviously get it insured but a lot of times when something has been broken what I've delivered eBay I've said you've got to go to the paral company what you sent it with and deal with it with them because obviously it's their problem so hope that one answers your question with Vinted I think Vinted are actually the best you don't have to do anything really if something doesn't turn up vintage will give you your money back and the customer if it's broke pretty much the same unless the customer's really like one of them just awkward ones usually in the end of the day if it's packed well you'll get your money back the only thing that I've noticed that Vinted don't really do refunds on is if it's not the item you sent or it's completely different from the description and then obviously that is your fault that is nobody else's fault so just be truthful in the description make sure the actual item is what you're saying if there anything faulty about it or broken mention it and you should be fine also I would send pictures as well to the customer of proof of packaging and how it's going to come I hope that's answer your question and if anybody else has got any more reselling questions F down below and I'll answer them in the next video so back to the main subject of me being a binge Lister so what am I going to do about it you know I've got a lot of stuck the thing about me is I am a Serial blinge Lister and I really need to stop binging and just be pretty much an normal list listing every day I think my problem is I feel like I can list in a day which will last for the whole week a lot of people say list five a day maybe list 10 a day or so on and so on I feel like if I list all of that like bulk in one day well that'll do for the rest of the week and it doesn't work like that yes it might give eBay a big kick up the backside because you've listed so many on one day and it might work for like a couple of days in the algorithm but it'll slowly start TR wickling down and yeah it'll come to a ho and that's my problem I feel like I'm not consistent enough when it comes to listing and I feel like that is the only reason that why my sales are not being as good as they used to be before I was consistently listing and scheduling so I knew I had a problem then well what I did with the binge listing is binge listed but scheduled the other ones so instead of putting on all on one day I put other ones on different days and it made a difference it was some of my best weeks in the year if you have a problem with listing or you don't like listing I suggest just list it all on one day not everything on one day like the Binger I am but listing it so it's on every day so if you can do 30 listings in a day make sure you spread them out throughout the week you know I personally think doing listing every sing single day is a chore and you don't need to do that why spend every day a couple of hours listing when you you could just spend one whole day and get a whole week of listing out the way what else have we got to do we list a few things and then what else are we going to do we're not going to do anything else are we there's nothing else we can do unless we're going out picking there's no point we starting this year now because what there's what three weeks left until it's over or something like that so there's no real point of me starting now so I'm just going to be regularly listing because I need to list all this stuff I hate listing and I really want to get it out of the way and if I feel like the only way I can do it is by sitting down all day on a Monday getting as many listings done that's the way to do it then I'm happy I don't have to think about it for the rest of the week knowing that everything's scheduled for that week don't have to worry about anything and what I did say in the previous video is maybe I'll only list stuff when I pick it up so I've got the whole of the week listed all fine all there ready to go but say if I went to a charity shop like the day after or the day after that or went to a Caro then whatever I picked up I can list that on top of the scheduled list just to get it out of the way and that's what I'm going to be doing because I've got the time to do that what you got to remember we are all human and we have lives other than reselling so something might come up where you know what I need to spend all day doing that but if I've got stuff scheduled every single day I'm not going to worry about oh no I've got nothing listed and you know what it comes to the end of the day and I haven't listed and it could affect eBay this way I don't have to worry about anything do I if it's listed for the whole week I can relax a bit and that's the main thing it's not about the whole listing yes that is one thing but it's also to help your mental state out one thing that I feel like a lot of us as resellers do is panic when we haven't got anything listed um especially if we're not selling because we know who to blame ourselves and that thing is because we're not listing because we don't enjoy it and if anybody is out there saying they enjoy listing you're lying because I I guarantee if you enjoy listing you're an absolute weirdo because nobody enjoys listing um but yeah that is my plan I have got a lot of stuff I haven't even listed any of stuff from the car boot so hope you enjoyed this I'm now going to go and list all this stuff I'm going to absolutely do a binge listing because I need to binge list so I hope this helped
