all right let's get started so today's master class is about the three hacks to creating your incredible sales experience so I hope if you haven't had a chance to definitely jump onto the last master class that we've held which was the three Bridal business business systems that I recommend that you desperately need within your business um if you haven't had a chance to watch that Master Class jump onto that after or this week that'll be amazing that will actually give you a bit more foundations to what the sales experience is I do dive deeper into that in the um in the master class the free Bridal business systems that you desperately need so in today's master class we're going to be going through your incredible sales experience and the three hacks that I use and I see um within our bridal business and the three problems that I see most commonly within Bridal businesses and how to counteract it cool so working on two different screens here it's very overwhelming so I really wanted to preface this entire masterclass by saying that there is no competition when an only Community when you focus on and create an epic sales and client experience within your Bridal business you want to create an experience that's unique to you to your brand to your values and what you hold most dearest to your heart because when you do that competition doesn't exist because you are literally creating this incredible experience for your clients and that's all you care about you want you to be obsessed with your clients um sales experience as well as your client our industry is notorious for being stuck in that comparisonitis and that um competition and it's such a struggle like I think it took me a very long time to get out of that that mode of real life realizing that our entire my entire business was set up with the foundations of trying to not compete but like I just thought I was doing something in my sales experience because the other person was doing something in their sales experience like I was handing out um touch-up kits to our Brides because the other person I knew that she was handing out touch-up kits now and it took me a while to realize that what if the bride doesn't actually want the touch-up kit like what if she has already thought about everything she needs in her emergency kit which let's be honest that's exactly what Brides have done they already have that stuff down packed they've got a bridesmaid that is all over it and they have that emergency kit ready to go so my entire foundations around creating an exceptional client journey is creating a client Journey that supports your bride beyond their wildest dreams and therefore becomes a brand that you and your client become obsessed with so let me just check my notes Here make sure I'm online here um beautiful so previously in the last master class I did go through how to um the foundations that we have within our elegant Edge client journey and that includes your sales experience and your client experience so the sales experience is everything that occurs before the bride's booking confirmation and your client experiences everything that occurs after your Brides booking confirmation so the found like the the entire point of this master class is to dive deep into the sales experience and how you can make it exceptional and supportive towards your bride and your business ultimately the goal is to create a system that automates this entire sales experience but for this master class we're going to be diving deep into the free hacks and the three problems that I see within Bridal businesses so initially what happens is your pride obviously is funneled through um the marketing funnel or the sales experience funnel and that is where they've come to you through the DMS and the emails the texts and the phone calls and referrals right so ideally you want your bride to be funneled and referred into your website inquiry form and so therefore from there you've collected and captured all the information that you need for your bride to be able to create this incredible proposal that answers like literally every single question that she could possibly have in that moment like you want it to be streamlined and supported so from there we would then go through and send off the proposal and the cook um the quote in one easy streamlined step ideally you would then want to have an inquiry follow-up process or system automated in in place so therefore you're then following up with the bride at three days and seven days following that initial proposal right so then at the next step would be to send off your um the deposit paid and the contract would be signed and then you would lead into your booking confirmation so at this point you really want to make sure that you have got this entire streamline process so that way you're supporting your client throughout the sales experience and you are alleviating any moments where she's like oh I don't understand how I can book in with you I can't find your inquiry link I can't see what your prices are I can't see what your packages even include and then it gets too hard for the bride and where does she go so our ultimate goal is to create this incredible sales experience that makes it literally impossible for your bride to say no to you your brand and your business so all right let's dive a little bit deeper we're going to go into the the funnel here so this is the elegant edge sales experience so we get our leads and our clients from all different areas we go from IG our Facebook our Tick Tock our Pinter we don't have Pinterest that's a lie but this is an example um referrals Google and we don't have YouTube either but that's another example so again like I mentioned before that funnels through into our DMS our emails and our calls so then what we do is we actually refer every single DM every single email every single call or text we don't really receive calls because we don't take calls um into our website inquiry form and so therefore that streamlines the sales process and they then fall back into our sales process experience here alrighty so I hope that's helped you understand what our sales experience looks like within our elegant Edge brand and this will give you a bit of an idea to refer back to this and see what areas that you have already set up in your business do you have a website form and um already set up do you have a quote a templated quote or a booking system that you use to generate the quote do you send through email inquiry follow-ups do you have a templated deposit um guided email or does that go through your booking system or do you have a contract templated email as well or do you have a that all set up within your booking system as well then finally do you have a templated booking confirmation guided email or is that all set up within your system so this is all food for thought so you can help identify where your sales experience is at and how you could increase the experience for your um your Brides all right so the first problem I see is your bride cannot access easily and effortlessly any of your website links your inquiry forms your contact details nothing so what that looks like is that the bride ends up trawling through your Instagram trawling through your Facebook trying to find a link and she can't even access the direct inquiry link just like that so how busy is social media social media is insanely busy right so you have the attention of your bride for like two seconds maybe three seconds at Absolute most and if she can't access that inquiry form in a heartbeat then she will possibly move on so to avoid that you want to make sure that you have effortless website and links so that way your bride can either contact you from the inquiry form ideally you want to send her straight there to streamline the entire process contact you via email or phone so you want or DMs either way if they're emailing you phone or DMS you then want to refer them through to your contact inquiry form you want to make it incredibly easy for your solar line bride to literally access your website and contact you within a heartbeat I cannot stress this enough the longer it takes for your bride to hunt down information the higher the chance that she is going to move on and find somebody else who's got that information easily accessible I'm just gonna check my notes Here yeah So within elegant Edge our focus in this entire sales experience is to make the whole process effortless and streamlined for our bride as well so what we do is we direct every single bride that comes through our DMS and our calls into uh to our website inquiry form and from there we then go through and send them off to um oh sorry then they go through they first they send through the details on the inquiry form and then they enter the sales experience right so foreign for streamlining the process we get into this further in the next few um topics but the reason for streamlining it is because you don't want to just streamline the inquiry stage you also want to streamline their ability to book in with you instantly right there and then to sign their contract right there and then to pay the deposit right there and then the less chance that you have for them and then back and forth emails reduces your admin by a lot and then also allows them the opportunity to make that to book in with you instantly so instantly that makes it a whole lot more seamless for you and the bride as well so I'm just going to check my notes quickly make sure I've covered everything [Music] um wonderful so the next biggest problem I see is when we have referred our bride to our website inquiry form after they've had the easily accessible links everywhere on their Instagram their Facebook and their all of the other social media accounts once we've referred them to our website they then don't have the form isn't abundant it doesn't actually capture all of the information that we need to create this exceptional client proposal and quote right so what we need to do is ensure that we have basically us in our inquiry form set it up to ask every single question that we need to create this beautiful personalized quote for our bride we basically want to avoid having to go back to the bride and asking for more information having to follow up with a bride for location of their wedding having to Reef check in to see what time they want their um hair finished by we literally want to make sure that we have asked every single question that we could possibly think about for their entire sales and client experience in that inquiry form because by asking all of that information in one step means that we can provide all of the information they need in one step which makes that entire process streamline and effortless so things that we want to capture are your bride's name obviously your wedding date the contact number the email address their location address so where they're getting ready on the day if you do um in your client experience and through a gift or anything like that for your bride then also you would want to capture their home address at this point you want to capture the bridal party details so the number of Bridesmaids the number of uh guests or mothers of the bride and everything like that including flower girls and if you offer both hair and makeup Services you obviously want to capture the number of hair services and the number of makeup services then you want to capture the ceremony time and you also want to capture their Ideal Hair um and makeup finish time so the reason why I recommend that you capture the ceremony time is because quite often at times some Brides can think that they just literally finish their hair and makeup and then they get onto like the wedding just happens like that they don't take into consideration that they need possibly an hour and a half depending on travel in between finishing their hair and their wedding ceremony so at this point I always recommend to capture their ceremony time and they've finished their ideal finish hair time so that way you in your proposal and your quote can send through what you recommend based on your experience and what you have within your business we in elegant Edge offer or recommend a 1.5 hours between finishing hair and makeup and their ceremony time but this changes ever so slightly depending on their location so if they've got like a 30 minute drive or a 20 minute drive or an hour's drive then we would change that depending on their location okay so then once we've captured all of that information we now have everything that we need to create this exceptional proposal and quote or invoice right so let me just check my notes here at this point in our business we actually record and um we create the proposal in our dubsado and then what we do is we then go into our bridal Bible system and we Implement our in input the data into there so that way we can um capture their client Journey as well as marketing and kpis and all of the financial stuff there so let me think does anybody have any questions so far in terms of the Abundant inquiry form as well as the where um effortless website and links let me know in the comments if you have any questions I feel like I was just on an incredible Rampage of excitement there so let me know if you have any questions and I'll answer them along the way okay so my third hack and the big third problem that I see within the sales experience is the bride you're emailing the bride The Proposal of the quote but not including your deposit information or your contract information so earlier in the hack number one I mentioned that you could at some point use a guided email response which would have a template for your um your contract for example or a template for your deposit payment information there are so many different ways that you could handle this given what systems that you are actually using within your business so this does depend specifically on the systems that you do use because you could use systems in your business to actually support you and send these through automated um but it does come down to what system you're using and what um uh what emails you use as well so I recommend if you do use a um if you don't have a booking system and you do mostly handle all of your entire client Journey in the emails or manually I would recommend that you do have a guided template which basically is something that you can easily just copy and paste so you have a guided template for your deposit payment information a guided template for your proposal and your quote and a guided template for your contract so foreign getting back to the problem the problem I see is when you have a bright email or ask for a quote the bride doesn't email or and enter all the information into an abundant inquiry form which means that you don't have all of the information that you need to send through this exceptional proposal or quote which means that when you do email the bride back the quote or the proposal you then don't actually answer all of her questions in advance which results in more emails coming back more emails going more emails coming back and this entire hockey oh well I'm like what's that table tennis game so um what happens is when you don't email the bride the deposit information or the contract information in alignment with the proposal or the quote email that's going back out to the grad what happens is that the bride then emails you back saying yes I'd like to book in that sounds great and then you email the deposit information to book in and the bride emails back to say oh yeah I booked in and thank you this is amazing I'm so excited and then you emailed the contract information and then she emails the contact information so not only at this point are you wasting your admin time the time that you are could be spending doing hair or makeup or time that you could be spending with your family at this point you're wasting this time of yours it's so precious but you're also wasting your bride's time so this entire system could be automated and so therefore you're making an exceptional incredibly amazing sales experience for your product because imagine what it's like being hurt right so think about this back and forth email if she's going to do that with you she's going to do it with a makeup artist she's got to do it with their um the florist and she's got to do it with her no wonder they're no wonder they're stressed so if you can streamline this entire process which is what we've done in our business and the amount of love that we get from our bride saying how incredible it was to be able to pay and sign the contract in one graceful step imagine if you implemented that within your own business like imagine what what it would be and what it would change for you and your business but also what it would change for your bride and their client experience I get a little bit passionate about that so I'm just going to take a little moment if we go back to um hack number one where I mentioned you want to make the entire inquiry process streamline and effortless so you want to make it easy for your bride to book in sorry to send through an inquiry the same principle applies for your bride booking in so you want to make this so instant and so streamlined that when your bride receives a quote and she's already obsessed with your brand she's already obsessed with your hair or your makeup and she already knows that she wants to be with you she's your solo line bright right if you haven't gone and watched that masterclass you need to go and watch that because that's how you attract more of those if you have created this exceptional sales experience where she instantly can book in with you just think about how amazing that is for her like if she can receive your proposal and receive your quote and book you in like that by paying your payment terms or your deposit and you're signing your contract and then you have this automated system in place that then pushes her into a client project or a workflow just imagine what that like I feel relieved for you right now okay all right so the other things to consider when you are if you are not using a automated system like dubsado if you are using guided templates the other things that I would recommend that you include in those guided templates within your um proposal email uh your booking information that includes like what their details are obviously their quote and everything like that then they're deposit information so what deposit is required how to make payment and what the next step is from there then your payment links obviously your direct debit accounts if they don't have a payment link you also want to include a link to your contract so another great way to make this streamline if you are not using a system like dubsado is to go through and use um or something like that where they can literally use the link and it's all automated and they sign up electronically so that will streamline the process for you streamline the process for the client another thing we used to use before we had dubsado was we actually created forms like Google forms and so we used that as our contract we popped all the information in the contract in Google forms and then we allowed we made a note that it was like by signing this at the bottom you I'm legally bound to what I come my brain is not working I can't remember what that was but like we did it in Google forms so that was just sending a link to the bride she would jump online and sign it and then everybody was happy so that's another way another option if you aren't using dubsado you've got two options there to make the contract process streamlined another way is that you could include in your terms and conditions the deposit payment and information in there so therefore they don't actually have to send any more than just one one email so that would include your proposal your um obviously a quote and then your terms and conditions which would include your deposit and payment terms in there it's going to take a little moment the other thing that was a big game changer for us in elegant Edge was when we used payment gateways so up until we um implemented dubsado within their business we used to send like I just mentioned before the Google forms off which would have the payment terms in there and then the bride would send through the payment the deposit via our bank account so um I find that since using payment gateways like stripe or Square or PayPal the bride the the entire process is way more streamlined than what it was if you think about your own experience when you're buying things right how much more easier is it nowadays like it's 2022 we are literally living in a world when we can Tap a button and we can pay for things Apple pay Google pay and striper all perfect examples of that where you can literally um pay for something by using your autofill of your credit card or Google pay or Apple pay just like that how much more annoying is it when you have to go through your bank account to enter the details from your bank account or from your invoice or your terms and conditions into your account to then pay the deposit like I get frustrated with that experience how do you feel about that experience is that the experience that you want for your Brides so these are questions that you should be asking yourself and really getting to the bottom of thinking what do you like what what think of what your most incredible experience was if you've got a married did you love your sales experience when you booked in for your hair and makeup or your vendors like your your photographers your florists or how what was that experience like and what was your most favorite experience this is this is such a good question to really journal on because that will actually help you amplify what you want to include in your clients sales are your sales experience um um so previous to this in hack number two I did mention that we also record all of our Brides inquiry information into our bridal Bible so this is a system that I've created within our bridal business that literally captures our entire um client Journey so it's an inquiries tablet it captures all the inquiry information and then there's a deposits tab which captures all the bride's booking information we're at so we can at every point at any point track our clients Journey we can see when they're say where they're at in their sales experience who we need to follow up with our dubstado automatically does that now but this was a great system to use before we had implemented dubsado then we go into our sales experience so I deposit our client experience our deposits tab which is we can see at that point where our bride is that in her clients at client experience Journey right so at this point once the bride has booked in and she's paid a deposit we would then enter that information into our deposits tab of our bridal booking so that way we can capture and record and track exactly where our bride is that throughout her client experience other ways that you can do this would be you would almost want to use the income um let me think about that if you weren't using dub solder and you weren't using a booking system this would be a great system to use to track everything along your client journey is a lot more manual and it doesn't include any automation but if you were including a booking system like square or fresher or timely you could incorporate that into your entire sales experience and client experience so your overall client Journey um let me think about check my notes let me know I think that wraps up our three hacks to the three most common problems that I see within a sales experience so what I would recommend is that you go away from today and answer the questions that I've asked in terms of how you feel about your client experience sales experience where do you think your sales experience is lacking like what are you not wholeheartedly obsessed with within your client sales experience are your sales experience do you get um comments from your Brides where they're like I know they seem a bit like wishy-washy how do you feel about your Brides booking in have you looked at your booking conversions what are your booking conversions between your sales inquiry are your inquiries and then booking in this is the we should be tracking this information because this is actually really helpful a helpful insight and tool to your marketing efforts so I would definitely go away from today and answer those questions see how you feel about your sales experience look into how you could amplify your sales experience look into your business are you implementing these hacks in your business how do you feel about your client inquiry form how do you feel about your Instagram and your Facebook do you love that there's easy accessible website and links and contacts there for your bride are you using call to actions to refer your bride to your inquiry form in every post and every social media like story or anything like that and finally are you using guided templates within your clients are your sales experience to help your admin process be a little bit more streamlined if you are not using a system like when I was hunting down clients and lowering my prices so low that it was going to be a hell yes every single time so the start of my ma like start of my journey that's what my journey looked like in my Bridal business I was just lowering my my rates so low that it just didn't come down to um the value of my of me or what I could my expertise it actually came down to just the Price Shoppers so I was not attracting the bride that I was so aligned to then what happened is because I had priced my services so low yet I had all of this experience because I was placing it from a place of lack of inner worth I Ben had this abundance of bookings because of course I was so wildly low priced in value of course I had all these bookings coming through right so what resulted from that is that I was overwhelmed like I literally couldn't keep up with all of my brides and the cost of managing a bride's booking whilst creating this exceptional client experience is hot like if you've actually sat there and thought about the cost to manage your Bridal booking if you've actually thought about your admin time and valued your time doing admin are you profitable like have you actually looked at that if you value your services so low which is what I was doing if I then valued my time doing admin I was literally not profitable not profitable like I wasn't making a wage I was literally my business was running and it was breaking even but I wasn't making a wage so then what's happened along my journey so I've gone from low value and then I've gone to not making a wage but pouring my entire heart and soul into this business to being abundant with all of these bookings which came with 20 hours like part-time hour admin work so I was working every evening and every weekend just to keep up with my admin so although I had this beautiful business that was like growing and standing I then ended up having a business that I couldn't keep up with and so then what resulted is I ended up going and getting hiring an admin like a part-time admin to help me with that so then what resulted is although my value grew and my clients were paying more as I as I started to value my own expertise and my bookings became like like my booking conversions were 80 so I knew that I had to increase my value but what happened is I had to then hire somebody to help me with my admin because I couldn't keep up with it which then resulted in expenses increasing right so this is where my business the Journey of my business has been and so that's what's resulted in me literally desperately at complete capacity trying to find a way how I can make this work but still make a profit so tonight is the night of Celebration where I in alignment with the Lionsgate I'm going to be launching the
