When a client enters information (such as a password) into the online form on , the information is encrypted so the client cannot see it. An authorized representative for the client, called a "Doe Representative," must enter the information into the "Signature" field to complete the signature.

In order to sign a pdf document with OpenOffice or LibreOffice (and many other similar apps), you have to download a .pdf version of this signature. Downloading a signature in your preferred format (like .pdf, etc.) After you have downloaded the signature, you should first convert the file to your desired format. You can do so by opening the signature in the editor (if it is an .pdf file). After the signature has been converted (or not, if it has already been converted), copy the signature to your clipboard. After you click the button, you'll be taken to a "Verify Signature" dialog box. To verify an uploaded signature, do so using the "Verification" button. After you select "Verify with", the OpenOffice and Libreoffice signatures (and the other compatible apps) will be verified in OpenOffice and LibreOffice's signature dialog box. If the verification dialog box says that the signature is not valid, or if its format is not valid, just click "Open with the appropriate software"...

You do NOT need to sign the entire document. In fact you DO NOT even need to print it. Just sign the "Certification of Use" which is the back. In a perfect world, you would just sign the front of it, but as it stands right now you have to sign the back, or else the document is no good. I suggest you just sign the entire document, and then just fax the signature to me after you have printed the document. Once you have done that, I can fax the document to the bank in exchange for a receipt of the electronic signature. What happens if I get the signature in the wrong way? You can change the signature to the correct way, by just making a correction. It is best to do this at home, and not by printing out the document. If you can't change to the correct way, you might as well not do the signatures on the document. I will then send the document back to you and you just have to print it back out. What happens if I print the document out and sign it on the computer, but the bank doesn't accept my electronic certified signature? This is a very common problem. If it is a bank that will only accept paper certified signatures, the bank will require a second signature, or else it is just no good and you will just be sent back to the bank to get a new electronic signed document.
