description as well it's gonna be the second link okay really quickly here is an opportunity for artists and arts organizations they have 1.1 million dollars for covet relief they're doing this in three cycles right now they are on the second cycle i believe so artists can get twenty five hundred dollars and then organizations can get five thousand dollars to support those facing critical financial emergencies due to the impact of covid so if you scroll down to where it says the cycles um cycle one has closed so cycle two is getting ready to open up march 3rd it will close march 17th at 11 59 central so this is going to include alabama connecticut delaware florida georgia kentucky and so on and so forth you can read that here and then they have another cycle that will start in april for a set of other states so a link is going to be in the description for this one is going to be the third link okay so here's a huge one this one is for u.s nonprofit organizations local development districts government agencies tribes and ihes for projects to assist communities in eligible regions impacted by job loss in the coal industry applicants must submit an loi and conduct the funding source prior to or contact the funding stores prior to applying eligible projects are those that benefit communities in the appalachian region so the partnerships for opportunity and workforce and economic revitalization which stands for power initiative makes available federal resources to help communities and regions affected by job losses in the coal mining coal power plants operations and coal related supply chain or logistics industry due to the changing economies or economics of america's energy production and the coal economy so they're really targeting people who are in the coal industry so there's two types of grants there's an implementation grant and a planning grant so the sizes for these grants are going to be between 400 000 and 1.5 million dollars for each project it awards within the congressionally defined appalachian region with expectations for broadband development projects which range from 400 000 to 2.5 million and then the planning grants go up to 50 to this page here they have workshops available for you to attend like online workshops and then they have letter of intent templates and then they have their application portal so this is where you're going to apply there are some deadlines so the release date was january 14th the application portal opened on the 16th of february the letter of intent is due by march 5th and then your proposal due date is due on the 16th of april okay so the last grant is for western alabama counties so this one is going to go up to 20 thousand dollars to alabama businesses in eligible counties to mitigate the financial difficulties resulting from cover 19. funding is intended to support small businesses employing between two and five workers that have been adversely impacted by the pandemic so funds must serve businesses located in bib fayette green hill lamar maringo pickens sumter and tuscaloosa counties the small business relief fund is a community foundation of west alabama fun offered in cooperation with the chamber of commerce of west alabama so they have two rounds the average grant that people usually get is 2 800 but you can get up to 20 000 i believe that's going to depend on how many employees that you actually have you must have experienced financial hardship as a result of colorway 19. you have to have between two and 50 employees as of february 29 2020 you have to be in good standing with the states you must be located in one of those counties that i just mentioned so there is going to be an application in the description it will be the last link under list of grants mentioned in this video so this is the application um the deadline for this one is not set is pretty much ongoing i'm guessing until funds run out is not a specific date so they give you some more requirements or some more information here on this page you will need to provide your w9 and you're going to have to send that over to projects at tuscaloosachamber.com and this is what they're going to require here on the forum it is a little long they basically just want to verify that you have been in business since february 29th or before and they want to make sure that you're operating in the counties that they mentioned above and they want to make sure that you have been impacted by cover 19. okay so here is a grant for texas non-profit and for-profit organizations in eligible
