How can I sign a Word doc without printing it? From an absolute legalistic perspective, you probably can’t. But you can scan your signature and insert it in your doc. The ‘best’ way to do this (i.e. make it look real) is to begin with a very large signature. Take a full sheet of white paper in landscape orientation and scrawl your signature right across it, as big as possible. Use a big, thick permanent marker. (Black works best.) Now scan the result. At this point you can, if you’re worried about document size, scale the image of your signature down a bit … but not too much. You want a big sig with 600 horizontal pixels being the absolute minimum size. In Word, insert your signature via Insert -%3E Picture. Once you’ve done that, left-click anywhere on the signature. Then grab a corner with the left mouse button and scale (drag) the image down to a suitable size. Scaling down a large image helps hide speckling and aliasing, and makes the signature look much more real. By rights you should be able to scale down in a graphics package and simply import the resulting lower resolution signature image into Word. I do not know why, but this never seems to work as well (look as good) as doing the scaling in Word. Maybe it’s just me.

PDF creation software with signing ability, signNow or similar10. Lexis or Westlaw My law firm has Lexis. Specific tasks that lawyers can perform with the setup I gave you?1. Even I had the similar problem, my windows 10 upgrade laptop crashed badly and I decided to go for Macbook Air which is all new OS for me. Earlier I had organised my work in Zotero in Mozilla Firefox, and I was using symlink to dropbox to sync my library between my office PC and Laptop (as free 300 MB cloud storage got exhausted early and I had no credit card to buy additional Cloud Storage from Zotero), it was all working good until I went for Window 10 upgrade and finally my hardware crashed. Now in mac I don’t know much where the appdata file stored and not sure even the symlink can be created from Zotero library stored in dropbox or not.I have installed Zotero in Firefox on mac yet I’m looking to find more easy way to do the same. Pretty much all the estimators I know still rely on their Excel spreadsheets and don't have much use even for estimating software let alone cloud based solutions. Estimating is a very conservative discipline since a contractor's viability as a business rests on the reliability of the estimates and they stick with what they know, trust, and control.That said, there is a cloud based program which I have recommended to some estimators with very positive responses. The service is called Assemble. It works by publishing Revit models to the  server which can then be viewed and analyzed by their viewer. The beauty of it is the ability to visualize the building components alongside the estimates, quantities, and such. It also retains the information from each iteration of the building model and can compare them to show what has been moved, added, deleted, and/or changed with each update of the model. Even without the estimating part this feature is huge. Of course it is not a replacement for traditional estimating as it depends on the accuracy of the model which is created by someone else so the estimator won't fully trust the results (at least not to start with). What it does provide is a terrific reality check and alternate view of the estimate that can greatly assist the estimator to check, refine, and document their work.
