He obviously agreed and with all sorts of trial and errors, here were the results:This ONLY works on item that are sold by Amazon or fulfilled by Amazon warehouse.He was able to order $5000+ worth of stuff and received a full refund on everything. All he had to do was call or chat with an Amazon representative and let them know that he has received an empty box that was in perfect condition and the item was missing. If the item is sold by Amazon itself, they can offer a replacement, unless you choose to get a refund instead. Now with this, you can do what my friend calls a "double dip". The website is self explanatory so don’t worry, sit back, that will teach you the entire procedure of applying. Even if you have existing license of one class(bike) and if you are applying for another class(car), website will not allow you. It will always says “license is not valid or legacy data”. So you can’t add existing license to new license through online. it’s better to go apply offline so that you can combine those. Learner License: For learner license, after applying through online take printout of the application and other required documents(age proof xerox, address proof xerox, form1 xerox) along with originals. Visiting RTO office: 1. After signNowing RTO office, directly go to cash counters(room no 3, ground floor). Pay fee by cash(350/- for MCWG, LMV. cards are not accepted, please take amount prior going there). 2. 1. There will one ATM near RTO office back(side road), but it will be closed some times. Another at petrol bunk(under flyover, on main road) 3. Complete payment process, go to LL test center(room no 4, ground floor). There will be queue but don’t worry it will completed very fast(10–15min). 4. 1. Here initially document verification will be done, one guy verifies online document with your original doc(so don’t forget to take original docs). 2. Post document verification they will direct you to inspector, where eye test will be carried(one eye you have to close and read the letters/word) 3. Completing eye test, you will be directed to take test(most important is carry your mobile phone, you will get test password to that) 4. LL test will have 15 questions, at least 10 should be correct(prepare well and take some mock tests, Stall Mock Test [ https://parivahan.gov.in/sarathiservice/stalllogin.do ], this is must and should ). Mostly symbols will be asked. 5. Once you complete test, result will be appeared on the screen. 6. 1. If you are pass you will get LL online, on next day(if you want offline, go RTO and ask them, they will give printout) and you need to submit your file to respective office who conducted the test. 2. If you are fail, don’t worry. Do some preparation and appear again. Take your file and appear again by booking LL test slot. *** All RTO officers are friendly enough to answer, so don’t hesitate to ask question and don’t irritate them, with too many questions. Driving License(Permanent License): 1. Complete one month and fill driving license application online, you will get only application. And book slot for driving test 2. Documents required for DL are Application, Learner license/ licenses. But it is good to carry remaining things(which we took for LL) 3. 1. Along with above docs, must and should carry RC, Insurance, Pollution certificate of your vehicle/s. 2. Don’t forget the clothed envelope with stamp duty, you can get it from xerox shop just backside to the office(25/-). Write your address with phone number and pin it in the file, last. 4. After signNowing RTO office, again go to cash counter(room no 3, ground floor). Pay the cash for driving license and test(950/- for MCWG, LMV) 5. Now your application needs a physical verification from ARTO(who sits in 2nd floor, room no 2). Get the application verified. 6. 1. If the officer says LL is not valid then don’t worry, just go to ground floor room no 4, to get printout(one of the officer will help you in getting this) 7. After completing verification just to bio-metric center(just opposite to room no 4, ground floor). 8. 1. Here they will take your photo with webcam, remember this photo only will come on DL and also digital signature(you need to pay 60/- for smart card) 9. Now go to document filing center (room no 2, ground floor). 10. 1. Just pin your vehicle papers(xerox of RC, Insurance, Pollution certificate) to the file, if you are taking license for two(bike, car), need to keep both vehicle documents. *****Docs of the vehicle and Testing vehicle should be same. 2. They will verify the xerox copies of those docs. And originals are not required here(But keep with you, for safe side) 3. Now they will retain file with them and asks you to get the vehicle just start of side road, test will happen after 12 - 1:30. 11. Officer will ask you to take test 12. 1. For bike just need a go forward, take ‘U’ turn and directly to go office. Don’t stop any where. **Helmet is compulsory, otherwise they will reject **Hand signals are mandatory, don’t forget **Even they don’t ask, give all hand signals. 2. For car, officer will sit next to you, don’t be panic and don’t let your vehicle stop. Keep your leg on clutch only, so that it will not stop **Officer will talk with you nicely and tells the direction, but don’t forget the hand signal even if you use car signals **Seat belt is mandatory **For every small thing give hand signals properly **L board is compulsory for all vehicles. 3. I drove car and bike nicely but forgot to give hand signals, then he asked me to come after one week, but i told i am ready to take test now. Finally he convinced some how and said, go home happily. 13. After completing driving test, you will be asked to go document filing center(room 2, ground floor). After everyone completes the test they(officer, peon) will come there and will call each person to share the result. Sometime officer might ask you hand signals if your driving skills are good, if he convinced then you are PASS, though you forgot to give hand signals. 14. 1. If you are PASS, then just go home, you will get the license in 15–20 days by post 2. If you are FAIL, you can reappear for the test after one week(we might need to pay test fee extra, 50/- i think) Some Important points: 1. Take your own/friend vehicle, because no one will give their vehicle. And if you go to any agency at that moment they will ask you 2500/-, so plan to take yours or your friends vehicle(with all papers of it). 2. If you applied two class of vehicles and took only one to the center, then they will ask you to test that but other class will be cancelled. So you need to re-apply only for that class(and money you paid is wasted). 3. if you are not feeling like appearing test after completion of all procedure, just re-apply for slot(same day slot will be automatically cancelled, so go ahead and book on next day) 4. Once you completed with DL fee, that receipt is valid till LL is validity. 5. Don’t listen to any broker, they will surely mislead you for commission. 6. If you don’t have car, better go on Saturday, you might get it from some of the co-applicants, but you have to ask them before test itself. So that you can get both documents and car during test(this is truly luck)
