Will iCloud support email from personal domains?
Historically this has not been possible even with MobileMe, although last year Apple added the ability to send from a custom address with your own domain, this was limited to the web client (not iOS devices or mail sent through SMTP) and there was no standard way to redirect or receive mail at a custom domain.Early reports have suggested that even this feature may disappear with the move to iCloud. It seems pretty clear that Apple wants users to use their me.com addresses and isn't willing to get into the complexity of supporting custom e-mail domains. Note, however, that you can sign up for iCloud with any Apple ID, even if it's another e-mail address, and simply use all of the non-email related features (calendar, contacts, photostream, documents, backups, find my iPhone, etc). If you attempt to activate e-mail with another Apple ID, however, you will be prompted to create a me.com address to use.

What are some awesome Google products/services very few people know about?
Use Google Location History to Find Where You Have Traveled!!(This is my recent travel on timeline) :)Google can track a lot of things. Your Timeline is a Google Maps tool that enables the users to track the places that they have visited on any given day. Your Timeline shows the routes that they took to signNow there, and the photos that they clicked on the way, which Google neatly stores away into Google Photos. The feature claims that Your Timeline is private and only you can see it. With the same technology Google tells you about the real time traffic information. You may not be aware of Your Timeline feature. Take it if you like to be tracked 24X7 or leave it if you do not want to be tracked. Maybe you are okay if you get tracked occasionally. The choice is yours! It is a known feature, we have read about it often but still not many people use it. Some are using it without being aware that they are using a feature that is tracking their every movement.Enable Location HistoryIf you have a Google account, you can use the Timeline feature on your Android mobile phone. Google tracks your location through Google Maps, which works on the Android phone and the web as well. Google also uses your search and browser information, GPS, Wi-Fi, cell towers and device sensors like gyroscopes and accelerometers to create your timeline. To access this feature, you must enable the Location History on computer or on your mobile phone. Thanks for reading hope it's helpful… :))

What are some websites/apps to enhance productivity and skill sets?
What are some of the websites/apps to enhance productivity and skillsets? Are you one that works too many hours? They probably don’t pay you by the hour, do they? More about results than time, right? Certainly all three are a yes answer for me. And I definitely like to find ways to reduce time on simple, mundane tasks. So my favorite productivity apps add a great deal to making my work life easier.I love to read, learn, and try new things. Like new apps for my smart phone and iPad. Often, I’ll see something that I want to try, save, and connect with other new apps I am using. Ideas that come from previously unconnected planes of thought, as Mootee states. There a...

What are the features which make Box, DropBox, and Google Drive different from each other?
From the perspective of plans, storage, uptime etc I think no real differentiator exists among these options. Dropbox has less free storage, but it is easy to get more by referral etc. Also the paid plans are almost equivalent. And policy wise also they are same (like they'd control the content if they so wish). So, from an end user perspective, integration with other applications (both from desktop and mobile) will make the difference. With gdrive, all other google apps will support it (if not already). E.g. gmail, youtube, google+, keep, google app engine, blogger, play uploads. Also any photo taken by mobile, automatically can go to gdrive for backup. Dropbox can do the latter, also alongwith Microsoft Onedrive/skydrive they have Windows explorer integration so those drives appear as a mapped network drive to you. So if you use files as files, maybe dropbox kind of solution would be easier, but if your files are photos/videos that you want to share using other apps (email/blog...) maybe google drives is a better choice.

Is the project management software market open for new approaches?
With all of the gut instict and none of the data, I'd venture to say yes, that may very well be the case. My caveat: to be truly disruptive, it has to deviate a lot from the current, problematic approach to project management software.Everyone in the market seems to want to invent the product with the perfect feature set and the best interface. The systems available today are a set of functionally similar products whose interfaces and – or, as Jack Dahlgren puts it, development where people are "bolting on new capabilities to the same old stuff."People have to start accepting that no single feature set is going to solve the varying needs of different organizations. I think the gain of creating yet another product that you think has a superior feature set is marginal at best, even if its execution is the best on the market. We all know that different organizations have wildly different styles of working. It just doesn't make sense to build project management software that fits a certain set of needs and doesn't extend easily, unless you're satisfied with serving only the portion of your market whose needs best align with what you offer.Instead, I want to suggest that one of the profitable ways to innovate in this market is to create a project management system that is a platform, not an app. A tiny core system and lots of extensions. The model could be structured like Heroku. Everyone comes to Heroku because they need their code to run online. When you sign up, you get hosting for your code; that's the core functionality. Now you have a choice of what else you need and this will largely vary between teams. Many will likely need Postgres and Memcache. Zencoder and Websolr are probably less commonly used, but there are still perfectly valid reasons for using them, so they must be an option too. Notice with this model that Heroku doesn't offer a set of standard components they assume everyone needs. So, a platform for project management would do the few things that everyone needs extremely well and leave the rest to fully customizable extensions. Almost all projects probably need user management and task tracking. But the rest is taken care of by extensions: source control, code reviews, time tracking, watchers and notifications, e-mail support integration, code metrics, tagging etc. And what a manageable model of MVP development — "just" create the core and find out which extensions users want next! But this can't be JIRA's add-on system; it has to be a real platform – easy to learn, ~100% customizable, and built to be extended. This means the ability to customize almost everything. One of your users thinks your interface sucks? She should be able to roll her own in a jiffy. Accept that if your platform is good, your users can probably build a better interface than you (and this can be extended to almost anything). Leave nothing difficult to customize if you think there's a way someone else could do better.A platform approach has a few advantages:Picking project management software is extremely difficult because nothing ever seems to have the exact feature set you need, but a platform can have that for everyone. I'm always hearing about people who spend days researching these systems, trying to find something that fits their requirements, is well-designed, is affordable, and doesn't have an interface that sucks. It's more long-term, because people seem to abandon these systems quite often as their needs change. You don't need that with a platform – just enable an extension for what you need (or write it!). When companies outgrow the features of their project management software, or someone just gets fed up with it, they have to find another solution. This is a time-consuming project that ends with migration and system users having to adapt to a new system and perhaps a radically different way of working. With a platform, the alternative is simply to find the add-on you need in a marketplace or to write your own. In some cases, and especially if the platform is done right, it might be less costly to write an add-on for what you need than switching.Very few apps seem to address project management for non-software companies, but a platform can. It is highly valid for companies other than software companies to require something for managing tasks, perhaps with e-mail support integration, time tracking and estimation. Why not mature these extensions, remove coupling and make them available to more companies? Perhaps this added signNow helps justify the sizeable investment in building a platform.Good platforms seem to catch on, so perhaps extensibility matters. AWS, Microsoft Office, iOS, Android, etc. are all products that have the core and allow developers to create the extensions. This doesn't mean their success is caused entirely by their extensibility, but it certainly helped promote some of these systems over competitors with better core products but worse ecosystems. But this approach has its problems:Building a platform is time-consuming, and an MVP would require more work than most. You better justify this by having good reason to believe people will want this. Luckily, the demographic for project management software is readily available in various online communities. Compared to other groups, it's much easier to signNow to verify your assumptions with this accessible group. (In fact, I'm surprised by how few of those who build for developers seem to be doing market research by asking them what they want in these online communities; it's in everyone's best interest.)The platform needs to be excellent. If just building a platform is hard, building a great one is even harder. If you really want developers to code their own plug-in, it needs to be quick, simple and well documented. When building a platform, there is also a tremendous opportunity for messing up the architecture and adversely affecting your core strength. So, here's an example of a new approach that I think the market may be open to, but take it with a grain of salt. This is written entirely on a whim. While I believe that these are at least some reasons for looking into this approach for anyone interested in this space, I'm probably missing some major points, both in terms of problems and benefits.I'd personally love for you to create this, but whatever you do, please do not follow other people's gut analysis on Quora when building your company, but go out there, get the data and do the research.

How do you print to a network printer from an iPad?
There are five general ways using any of them one can print to a network printer from an iPad. They are - Apple's own AirPrint utility; print server utilities that install on a computer on your Wi-Fi network; manufacturers' and third-party iOS printing apps; cloud printing services; and email printing.1. AirPrintApple's own AirPrint utility a quick and easy way to print from a Wi-Fi-connected iPad to a compatible printer on the same network. All iPad models support AirPrint and the good news is that most recent wireless printers support AirPrint. With AirPrint, you can print documents from Apple programs such as Photos, Safari, Mail, and iPhoto, as well as many third-party apps. Press Select Printer and the app will search for AirPrint-compatible printers on your Wi-Fi network. Once you choose a printer, you're ready to go.2. Print Server UtilitiesIf your printer doesn't support AirPrint, you can grab a utility that makes it AirPrint-compatible. The printer can even be USB-connected, as long as it's on a Wi-Fi network. These programs function as print servers and can be installed on a computer on your network. Print servers tend to add some extras to AirPrint's functionality. For example, Presto and Printopia.3. Printing AppsNearly all of the major printer manufacturers now offer apps that let you print from your iPad to their brand of printers that support Wi-Fi connectivity. These apps tend to offer a much wider range of features and printing options than AirPrint does. These apps generally let you print a variety of document types. Epson iPrint and Samsung Mobile Print are two popular example.4. Cloud PrintingCloud printing services such as Cortado's ThinPrint Cloud Printer and Google Cloud Print let you send a file from your iPad to their respective cloud service, which processes it into a printable form and sends it to a printer designated by you or your company. One advantage of cloud printing is that you can print to the cloud printer from anywhere. Another is that you can print to it from multiple platforms: desktops, laptops, and mobile devices running other operating systems.5. Email PrintingThree of the major printer makers offer a nifty printing solution: via email. HP's is through its ePrint feature; Epson's is via Epson Connect's Email Print; Canon has a Print from E-mail function. When you sign up for one of these services, your printer is assigned a unique email address. When you email a document to that address (from your iPad or any other device, from anywhere in the world), the printer will automatically print them out.As iPads have proliferated, so you have all the methods available to print from them. From these, which one is the best solution depends on your needs. Here are the top 10 best wireless printers for iPad (AirPrint enabled) – reviews that can be helpful for finding suitable wireless printers for your iPad.Source: PCMAG.
