If you have to use it as an array, you can't do a "find" function inside the "new" variable to find the first element of the array, as you would in a hash if your "new" variable is an array, you can just have it use an array index and you'll never see a problem, and if its an ints in PHP, it'll throw an exception when you try to use it (i know, i know, its a horrible solution to an otherwise perfect problem) i am still trying to work out all the kinks, and i know this was a pain to write, but its what i wanted to do.
