Who would win in a fight, Iron Man or Starscream?
âFriday - status!â commanded Tony Stark, urgently.Iron Manâs opponent, an alien technology that could transform and disguise itself as an advanced, American F-22 fighter jet, was laughing maniacally.Curiously it sounded like another villain - Ultron.Only this robot was more physically vicious and aggressive.Tonyâs mind raced as he continued to plummet, his Mark 50 suit desperately trying to reboot itself.Starscream commandeered a Cybertornian stealth shuttle with enough resources and energy for an extended trip to Earth. His plan, as always, domination of the Decepticon clan by usurping its leader, Megatron. The Decepticon second in command had made contact with an unknown entity after being compelled to fly and explore a strange, incongruous, planetoid in an unexplored sector of the galaxy.A brief surge of data had imprinted itself on his pico neural pathways and easily convinced him that Megatron could be quickly disposed if the right assets were in play. Not one to argue with grand opportunity the Transformer readily agreed and had already turned to scheming for his ultimate advantage. The shuttle had been programmed to enter a dimensional flux stream and, after some trepidation, he found himself in geosynchronous orbit around Earth once more. However, the scanners on his spacecraft revealed some irregularities. There were greater concentrations of energy, higher levels of advanced technology, and even more surprising, strange, altered life forms inhabiting the planet. He ignored these facts in favour of one - there were no traces of Autobots, or Decepticons.Ever.By his estimation, the planet was ripe for his picking. With his shuttle holding place in orbit the Decepticon broke through the atmosphere and transformed into his jet mode.Activating advanced stealth features he took his time, smugly surveying various sites of interest, loitering, and taking pleasure in confusing the lowly humans.Purely for spite he would briefly reveal himself on their primitive radars. He liked playing a cat and mouse game to pass the time as he scanned military installations for great concentrations of energy that he could plunder.Strangely, the most concentrated form of energy was not located on a military base, as he presumed, but from an industrial complex 36.2 miles west of Houston, Texas.Once he had trained his scanning array on the source it intrigued him to no end.It was at least five times more potent and concentrated than anything he had seen thus far. He hovered in the air, hidden by a dense bank of clouds, studying the size of the complex and the disposition of its defences.Snorting in derision he decided to enjoy himself before the inevitable pillaging began.Dropping all his cluster bombs he quickly switched to his robotic form. The bombs instantly wreaked havoc on the automated defenses, sowing chaos among the scurrying, babbling, primates.Swooping down from the skies like a sinister, 18 foot tall, bird of prey he laughed and started shooting indiscriminately.Twenty minutes earlier Tony Stark had been working on the schematics for a new, high tech, foundry addition to his Nada, Texas, manufacturing complex. His holographic CAD/CADM schematic showed him areas of interest which his AI assistant, Friday, had pointed out earlier.âFriday?â asked Tony, âshow me the data on the left foundry again.ââHere you are,â replied a pleasant female, Irish, voice. âThe plantâs arc generator can easily absorb the power cost of a dual furnace setup with modifications, here, here and here.âA large, red, dot of holographic light traced an outline on the plan glowing in the air.Tony gave a low wolf whistle.âAdjust it for a dual carbonadium pipeline. Thereâs enough overhead for this âŠâ began Tony.âSir?â interrupted Friday. âThereâs a strange contact on Stark satellite W34.ââIâm not interested in weather patterns. Eyes over here, okay?â replied Tony, directing the AIâs camera with his hand.âIâve been tracking an atmospheric disturbance nine miles above this location, holding steady, for the last three minutes,â confirmed the AI.Tony blinked and paused. His AI didnât normally trail off on an unimportant tangent.âFriday - confirm if Thorâs coming to visit the wine cellar again. Break out a keg of Bordelaux 1812. Letâs finish this up.â ordered Tony.âSir - analysis on screen. There are no visuals, no radar contact. Judging by the footprint in the atmospheric gases the Object is estimated at 63.1 feet long, by 46.6 feet wide, with a height of 17.8 feet, and is now 2 miles above us.âTony quickly absorbed Fridayâs data and signNowed a conclusion about 10 seconds before the first bombs hit.âRED ONE!â was all he had time to cry out before the all to familiar thud of explosions shook the office. He reveled at the scurrying inhabitants, ducking for cover, screaming their incoherent, high pitched voices. He randomly fired beams of energy from his arm mounted cannons anytime it looked like the motes were massing for trouble or not making enough noise.Every step he took shuddered the ground, generating fear.He couldnât stop smiling as he slowly meandered closer to the power source in the center of the complex. The defenders could do nothing to stop him. Their side arms were futile. The automated defences were, by and large, ineffective. What rabble remained could not target him effectively due to his active stealth components. Any that tried were immediately rendered useless by his ânullâ beam cannon - effectively a concentrated EMP beam. He decided that he had more sympathy for dumb technology than intelligent specks of dust.A last stand of security personnel tried to bar his way, buying time for their unarmed peers to escape. At least, this is what he wanted the flotsam to believe. He gave into the moment, grandstanding and taking devilish pleasure.âAre you not impressed!â Starscream proclaimed, boisterously. âYou could all be dead. DEAD! But if you keep me amused Iâll let you live another day!âHe gave his best performance, sarcastically imitating the laugh of his despised leader, Megatron. Security took the opportunity to fire back.Small arms fire and a Humvee sporting a mobile autogun, spit their defiance at the Decepticon. He laughed again, almost hysterically, at the pitiful resistance.âIâm going to love it here!â he rasped loudly. He stomped the ground 10 feet away from the humans, causing them to scatter and trip over each other in a confused state of retreat. One of the security detail hammered Starscream again with the autogun.âGoodbye, insignNow mote!â he cried happily. He raised his left foot high, letting it loom for a second over the vehicle. Then he brought it down.âFriday, magnetize joints! Brace for impact!â cried Tony in his Iron Man suit.âGenerating counter force,â complied the AI calmly.Iron Man landed just in time to catch Starscreamâs foot and save the Humvee, and its occupant, from a gruesome death. The armour creaked a little ominously at the strain, but Friday reassured him that systems were performing beautifully.âLetâs try a little Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, courtesy of Captain America,â suggested Tony as he flexed and twisted.Friday routed the necessary suit power and articulations to magnify Tonyâs actions. She also duplicated Tonyâs voice, broadcasting it throughout the entire facility.âEvacuate! Delta Red!â Iron Man cried. âMove people!âPersonnel flooded out of the complex, gravitating towards the roads and designated safe spots some 20 miles in the distance.Starscream couldnât believe two things.First, he didnât realize the complex was defended by a unique individual who was all but invisible to his radar.Second, he didnât think anybody would ever think to twist his massive ankle joint. It started to hurt as he tried exerting pressure on the impudent little insect.Suddenly, he was off balance and flailing, his ankle in shooting pain!âYou little BUG!â he cried, activating his jets and searching for the source of the resistance and pain.Tony channeled as much power as he could into the armour, bending the ankle while throwing it off balance.âOkay, letâs kick this up a level,â he proclaimed calmly.Activating his repulsor jets Iron Man streaked off as the giant robot used its jet thrusters, to regain its balance.âFriday, scan active contacts, all bands,â ordered Tony.â193 band scan commencing,â confirmed the AI.Tony could see his very large foe but noticed that conventional radar and doppler were mute. Thermography was strange. The energy signature for such a large, moving, object was abnormally spotty at best, sometimes disappearing entirely for seconds at a time.Starscream had never tracked so agile a foe. Even Soundwaveâs flying peon, Laserbeak, was a moth compared to the armoured fly in front of him.His active tracking sensors had difficulty locating, and locking, onto the signNowly smaller, and faster opponent. Thankfully, Starscream was not an organic being. His technology allowed to react faster, think faster, and move faster than the ordinary inhabitants of this planet. He launched a seeking missile while he regained his footing.âSir - active tracking detected,â warned Friday. âI also have the scan results ready.ââJust a moment,â replied Tony, activating his anti-missile chaff and pulling a hard right loop. The missile trailed off, exploding harmlessly on the open Texan, plain.âFriday, broadcast a warning. Letâs see what it wants,â commanded Tony, as he quickly reviewed the AIâs results.âSTOP!â announced Iron Man, hovering 40 feet in the air, 100 feet in front of Starscream.âLetâs deal. Iâm full of resources. What do you want to settle this peacefully?â continued the metal clad insect. The Decepticon considered the offer.âYour energy source. Your technology. Your eternal obedience,â he rasped, cruelly drawing out the final syllables.Tony considered the data in front of him and took over the negotiations.âHow about a partnership with my factory at your disposal? Letâs figure out a way to get what we all need. Weâre even talking the same language,â countered Iron Man. âThereâs some common ground here.âHe activated a remote access channel in his suit. An automatic door in the complex opened. A minute later a drone flew forth carrying a pure sample of extracted Vanadium in a clear receptacle towards the negotiations.Starscream thought about the counter offer. It would take no effort to feign acquiescence, then break his word when the opportunity presented itself. The power source of the complex was considerably advanced and would be a valuable asset in his plans. The technology hovering on display in front of him, as much as he could monitor and scan, was incredible. If he could just tear into and peel back the little metal insect he was sure there were secrets to be added to his considerable abilities.âYour suit. Give it to me as a sign of your good intentions, and I will accept your generous offer,â replied the Decepticon.âTough negotiations,â Tony observed to Friday. âLetâs try this instead.âHe directed the drone and had it fly level in front of his opponent while he reviewed the data.Fridayâs scans noticed that the large robot was suspectible to magnetic fields as well as a few other, less common, forms of energy.âIâm sure you know this is pure Vanadium. Hard to extract, incredibly useful. Your form is based on advanced military technology which uses Vanadium in its construction. I can offer you a steady supply, and more, to keep yourself in tip top shape.âStarscream had all the time he needed on this planet to take what he wanted. But he was intrigued enough to have some fun since he was so close to attaining his goal.âIâll take your offer of Vanadium,â began the Decepticon, signNowing out and grasping the drone gently, regally, between two very large, metal, fingers.Tony tensed. He had taken part in many negotiations in his lifetime and could recognize a change of intent from across a board room.âIâll also take YOUR HEAD!â concluded the Transformer, quickly raising his cannon and blasting the armoured form in front of him.Friday had been monitoring their opponent using passive LIDAR scans. She detected movement of the left arm and relayed her conclusions to Tony. What should have been a telling blow was reduced to a glancing blow as Iron Man rolled with the impact, his suit reconfiguring itself to better reflect and absorb the energies from the cannon.Adjusting his suitâs flight trim for extreme turning, he shrugged off the blast and took off at high velocity, gaining altitude quickly.âWell that was predictable,â Tony concluded humourlessly. âPlan B. Letâs see what he can take. Fire up satellite C3D. Run all telemetry and tracking through your scans.ââUplink and monitoring,â confirmed Friday pleasantly.Tony let loose a volley of rockets from his shoulders, feeding real time tracking adjustments on the target 300 feet below him.The missiles shot downward at Starscream. He was bemused as he transformed into a jet and blasted off.His metal form easily withstood severe G forces that would have caused a human pilot to be crushed.Releasing chaff at the last instant he dodged. The missiles overshot and exploded harmlessly overhead as Starscream peppered cannon fire at Iron Man.Tony had given Friday access to all the databases at his disposal, including military tactics and advanced piloting combat gleaned from the best aviators on Earth and elsewhere. With Friday controlling the suit Tony kept reviewing the scan data and planning.Iron Man continued to rapidly put altitude between himself and his opponent, crossing through a thick bank of clouds at 18000 feet.Energy blasts cascaded harmlessly around him, missing his agile form by a large margin.âHeâs not very good, is he,â Tony noted laconically as he analyzed the magnetic field numbers. He was going to setup his brutish foe with a localized EMP ramjet missile delivered from the satellite. His armour would be immune, hardened to the magnitude of the attack. With any luck he would be done before afternoon tea was served.âFriday â satellite status?â asked Tony.âOnline and armed,â confirmed Friday.âOkay - letâs swing this back to our end of the inning,â stated Tony.Friday reconfigured the suitâs flight trim and Tony executed a tight turn, expertly avoiding another flurry of missiles. He sped toward the advanced F-22 at Mach 5, before executing a bewildering set of large, looping, circles aimed at distracting his opponent while the satellite delivered the EMP payload.âSir, please watch your G force tolerance. Any more than Mach 6.2 and you will risk a blackout,â advised Friday. The Mark 50 Suit was theoretically capable of speeds well in excess of Mach 9. Reality was limited by Tonyâs ability to absorb G-forces, and remain conscious.Even when supported by the suit his body had limits, even more so when executing acrobatics.âWeâre fine Friday. Just monitor my vitals and let me know how weâre doing. This is about to end in another minute,â replied Tony nonchalantly.âSir? My analysis of the factory logs is complete. Thereâs something interesting you should see,â began Friday. The Decepticon recognized a delaying tactic when he saw one. He also realized that he could target the small armoured primate with his Null canon, visually. He kept firing just behind the dodging target to continue lulling it into a false sense of security. He couldnât help but brag about his abilities since victory was all but assured in his mind.âYou fool! I see in 1134 frames per second compared to your feeble, primate, mind! Surrender before you annoy me!â he threatened, blasting away.Tony scoffed.Friday was an advanced AI that let him see thousands of frames more, per second, with advanced scanning and analysis of the environment. She was like Pepper Potts, Tonyâs trusted confidante and aide, only portable and faster, by far. He couldnât help but retort, as he executed one last, tight, turn since victory was almost at hand.âI hope you like being framed for defeat!â joked Iron Man loudly to his foe, interrupting his AI.âFriday, launch the ramje,â began Tony.Starscream suddenly transformed into robot mode, easily absorbing massive G-forces, abruptly slowing down and turning tighter than Iron Man, could anticipate. Before either Friday or Tony could adjust to the new situation the Transformer easily targeted the flying monkey and sent a null beam blast 23 feet in front of the looping metal ape.Pain exploded across Tonyâs neural net mesh. His systems went haywire from the feedback. The in-suit suite of holo-display screens flickered on and off.He started breathing faster. All the major electronic systems in his suit were knocked out.Friday started babbling non-sensical conclusions and observations like a drug addict.â42 powers 2.1! The square root! Beets! Hell! Ponies! Lineal suits! Clover!â blathered the shocked AI.âFriday! Emp! Reboot! EMP REBOOT!â ordered Tony, desperately. He knew an EMP after effect when he saw one.He had assumed that only an atmospheric, nuclear scale, electro magnetic pulse could knock out the new suit.Unfortunately neither he nor Friday had anticipated current tactics. He cursed himself for not looking at the factory logs during the fight. There may have been more information from the sensors on the ground or the eyes in the sky.As it stood, he was falling from an altitude of over 25000 feet. His advanced armour was now the most expensive dead weight on the face of the planet. His AI was reduced to being the largest assembly of code and neural net learning to fall at terminal velocity.Himself - Avenger, billionaire entrepreneur, CEO, and premier proto-techno adopter - about to experience death at the hands of an alien robot who was laughing manaically like Ultron.Looking out of his face mask eye slits, one of only two analogue components in his suit, he could see his enemy changing trajectory, approaching with hands raised high.Starscream watched the falling red and gold metal suit.He raised his arms high in victory, accelerating to maximum speed, closing the gap.The time for revelry had passed. He would take this new technology, scan it, adopt it, and add the power source to his personal form. Then he would depose Megatron for good. There was no way the Decepticon leader would be able to cope with these new abilities, especially since Starscream planned on surprising everyone when they least suspected. He laughed out loud, his afterburners firing like twin suns in the afternoon Texas sky.âFriday! Status!â commanded Tony Stark, urgently.âRobots can be any colour,â stated the AI uselessly.Blind, deaf, and having trouble breathing, Tony continued his attempts to revive Friday. His keen mind took stock of the situation. At least Friday was recovering. She went from incoherent babbling to purely nonsensical. That was a glimmer of hope. Had the EMP truly had full effect Friday would be silent. If only he knew how close they were to the groundâŠHe was a seasoned business professional who knew the value of the adage âuse all your resources as efficiently as possible.âThe one resource that needed to be used most efficiently was time.He idly noticed that there were no more cirrostratus clouds in view.He made his choice.Whispering a prayer to the gods he toggled the only other analogue component in the suit - the reboot commands. He shut down Friday and powered her back up.If anybody could use time better than him it was Friday. If he could just cut out her illogical loops, brought on by the EMP, she might be able to find a way out of this situation. The babble stopped instantly. But no pleasing Irish lilt greeted his ears.He mentally kissed Pepper Potts, almost mouthing âforgive meâ in case he didnât have a chance to see her again.âFriday?â he questioned urgently, breathing harder.Dark clouds passed in view, whistling by alarmingly fast.Starscream was 1000 feet away from his foe.He licked his metal lips - a very human affectation he picked up somewhere in his scans when they first crashed on his Earth, decades ago.He was imagining what victory would be like back home.Megatron destroyed.Shockwave humbled.Even that insipid little backstabber, Soundwave, would be at his every beck and call. Maybe heâd let him keep Laserbeak, if only to keep the silent Decepticon in line.As he contemplated victory he momentarily lost sight of his prey in a thick bank of dark clouds.âFriday!â Tony persisted for the tenth time.âStatus! Update! Root X!â he commanded desperately. Friday had not responded after the reboot.Tony had no idea if she was active. His voice should have triggered a response. His breathing was laboured now, the suitâs air becoming saturated with carbon dioxide since the recycler had no power. His amour began to spin out of control. He couldnât even see his foe, nor the clouds, and only caught sporadic light streaming through his facemask. It was disorienting, chaotic, even more so than when heâd been binge drinking before rediscovering the path of a super hero.He almost felt that he had hit rock bottom once more, no pun intended he ruefully thought, as he plummeted to meet the Earth in the worldâs most expensive coffin.âThis is more like a pizza box,â he joked, almost incoherently, to himself as the carbon dioxide concentrations accumulated. The whistling of the air around him changed slightly. He thought he saw the Colorado River underneath him as he spun.It was a pretty watershed - he wished heâd taken time to go fishing when he first set up shop near Nada, Texas. He would have loved to hear Pepperâs laugh again, reeling in a big catfish. Or watch Happy Hogan, his chauffeur, grinning, telling jokes on the boat as he brought out the net.He even missed Thorâs chugging of expensive beers and wines, emptying out the cellar, and boasting that it was ânice but needed more Asgardian aleâ.âFriday. Kiss me for a fool,â he whispered, resigned. The mighty Colorado spun beneath him again, slower this time.Something was happening. If anything he should have been spinning faster. The wind should have been whistling at a higher pitch. Was he slowing down?Where was that stupid brute of a toy looking robot? Did it finally catch up?âHold on Sir,â announced Friday. The holographic displays were still off line.Tony couldnât see anything. But, come to think of it, Tony realized, his breathing wasnât any more difficult than under normal times of stress.Without power his suit was literally a hermetically sealed box of death. But with power to the proper sub systems it could keep him alive in almost any environment for a considerable length of time.âFriday?â asked Tony. He tried flexing his fingers, his toes.âJust. One. Moment,â Friday intoned over the space of three seconds.Tony watched the Colorado rise up alarmingly fast. The whistling of the wind continued to dull by the second. The spinning had almost stopped.Tony could feel a subtle presence in the interface mesh. This meant that Friday was monitoring his systems once more. She could even trigger certain bio chemical responses, through the nano technology under Tonyâs skin, within reason.âRelax. Let me help,â requested Friday, in a pleasant Irish lilt. The repulsor jets suddenly roared to life.Tonyâs arms and legs moved as the armourâs nano-tech surfaces reconfigured themselves to drastically slow their descent and regain control. He suddenly felt a little more relaxed than possible, and realized that Friday was coaxing dopamine into his system.Instead of watching the Colorado plummet into view Iron Man was now tracing a graceful, controlled, arc downward, at around Mach 2, passing through a low bank of stratus clouds.âFriday? Whatâs the 411?â asked Tony as the in-suite screens popped into view, sporting a boot screen.âYour reboot worked. I returned and scanned the last save state logs. Based on that data I diverted the majority of my AI power to controlling surfaces and angling our descent towards the river. Any left over power I used to start the reboot of our systems,â replied Friday.âAre we back to 100% yet?â asked Tony hopefully.âCurrent system status is 25% and climbing. 3 minutes until full capacity,â chirped Friday.âDamn,â muttered Tony.Starscream suddenly lost sight of the figure as they entered another bank of white clouds. He had been within 50 feet, at full after burner. Now, outside of the clouds once more, his prey was nowhere in sight. Whatever stealth components the gold and red suit sported were once more active, foiling his radar and scanners. He took up a hover position and rotated quickly, visually scanning the environment. It took him about 30 seconds to find the small speck of a figure, arcing downwards towards a placid river below. He snarled and transformed into an F-22 once more, using gravity to add speed to the chase.âFriday, letâs go for a swim,â instructed Tony.âIâll need to divert power from main thrust and control surfaces to adapt ourselves for entry and operation Sir,â began Friday. âWhatâs the 411, please?âTony smiled to himself as the AI imitated his sayings in an effort to coordinate. It came across as patiently frustrated in his mind - very classy.âIâm gambling that an F-22 isnât designed for water combat. Weâre going to take 2 and turn the tables like he did to us,â outlined Tony. âAnd, I bet I have a surprise for him if he does try to join us. Study the white paper I found on new Russian torpedoes - look in my inventory 23/2/2016 filed under âto do,â â finished Tony.âPrepare for water bsignNow in 15 seconds,â replied Friday.Starscream closed the distance quickly.Instead of using his Null Beam he decided that it was time to take pleasure in ripping the primitive ape apart, peeling back the layers of technology and scanning them while listening to high pitched screams.Even if the prey descended into water the Decepticonâs robotic form was well equipped for aquatic environments. His great strength afforded him easy mobility, and water cooled his systems for greater efficiency. He could even use his thrusters to propel himself faster than most nautical craft on the planet.Smiling cruelly he anticipated the surprised screams of shock and pain to follow shortly, as he descended.Tony dived into the water, signNowing the bottom of the river in seconds.âMark 50 holds up really well, doesnât she?â observed Tony proudly.âAll systems nominal. Full charge in 2 minutes,â confirmed Friday calmly.âCan we do it?â asked Tony. âWhatâs the energy cost?ââA surprisingly cheap re-articulation of the magnetic seals with relevant surfaces and sub systems. Are you sure about the last part of the plan?â queried Friday once more.âAll the numbers say this will work. Have you reconciled with the factory data?â replied Tony.âWorking on it - another 4 minutes.ââThatâs not a lot of time for the end game. Can you shave some more time off?â asked Tony.Tony noticed the shadow of his foe over the water. Another moment later, a large set of metallic feet broke the waterâs surface.Large collections of bubbles accompanied the robotic body as it plunged into the river. A set of arms signNowed out threateningly in Tonyâs general direction.âPersistent little toy isnât he?â interrupted Tony. âLetâs go.âHe knew that it wouldnât take long for the metal villain to take note and give pursuit.Starscreamâs robotic sensors and eyes pierced the gloomy depths of the Colorado river.Smirking he boomed his voice underwater.âRUN!âLaughing he activated his boot jets, rapidly closing the distance to within 20 feet.âHit it,â stated Tony calmly.Firing up the repulsor jets Iron Man took off from the river bed and traveled down the Colorado river at a depth of 30 feet.Friday activated the suitâs magnetic seals, articulating specific control surfaces on the upper body of the armour.Charging the nano-surfaces, alternating polarity in a specific pattern the AI used the suitâs gas exchanger in a novel, new, way of processing, and expelling great amounts of the CO2 in the environment to center around the Mark 50 armour. The repulsors suddenly engaged in full burn.Combined with the gaseous envelope around the suit, Iron Man quickly gained speed, attaining over 275 knots per hour.He shot away from Starscream with the speed of a super cavitating torpedo. The Decepticon blinked, then became quickly enraged. He willed himself to full speed, doing his best to streamline his shape and keep visual contact with the quickly receeding opponent. It was like trying to corner a wily, lower lifeform.Frustrating.A waste of his precious time.He should have killed the man when he had the chance.Starscream thundered away underwater, causing water to boil into large waves on the surface.Afternoon boaters were overtaken by sudden swells on a normally placid body of water.âHowâre we doing on that analysis Friday?â asked Tony, monitoring his screens once more.â2 minutes and counting.ââPower levels at optimal?â asked Tony.â30 seconds,â replied Friday.âTime to shoreline?â he asked, one last time.â10 seconds.âHe breathed slowly and firmly.âTime to gamble,â he said to himself.Iron Man broke the waterâs surface, springing through the air to land on the shore near some farm land. It was deserted as anticipated.âOpen up all environmental charging solutions please. I want to make sure we pump out every last giga watt,â ordered Tony.âUnderstood. Are you sure you donât want to wait for backup?â asked Friday.âNow or never. I donât want this conflict to get any more out of hand. It ends here,â was Tonyâs firm reply.âWould you like another shot of dopamine Sir?â asked Friday helpfully.Tony smiled.âDeep scan my pre-frontal cortex Friday,â Tony replied. âThis is as firm as I ever get.ââNoted,â Friday asserted. âCharging. Preparing to release dampers on your mark.âThe water bubbled at the edge of the shore. Waves started to crash onto the rocky, sandy soil, growing larger by the second.By the time the Decepticon bsignNowed the surface the waves were two feet high, spraying the placid super hero.Laughing cruelly, his quarry bent down on one knee, Starscream was almost ecstatic.âHad enough, gnat?â he asked mockingly. âI will make it quick out of recognition for your surrender.âHe let a sarcastic edge emphasize the word quick. There was never any intention beyond a brutal torture of a lower life form at stake.âNow,â stated the metal figure on the beach, turning its torso slightly to angle a large, glowing circle in its chest upwards.âFiring,â stated Friday.Iron Manâs uni-beam screamed forth from the golden Avengerâs chest mounted arc reactor.Within picoseconds an almost incomprehensible amount of EMP energy poured forth and hit the Transformer full in the face.âHope they have karma where you come from, jerk,â muttered Tony as he watched the armourâs power indicators drop precipitously.Starscream did what he always did best.He bellowed in pain.EMP energy bombarded his senses, his systems and wreaked pure havoc on his entire being.Unwillingly he felt himself shutting down, from the effect of the pulse on his electric systems and from the pure pain of it all.He was hardened to conventional, terrestrial EMP and technologies. But this outburst was along the lines of the best he had ever received from either Decepticon or Autobot. He could not last. His final thought as consciousness ebbed, his hulking metal form crashing onto soft sand and rocks, was that he would have his revenge.Tony stopped the Uni beam.He felt exhausted. The suit would need a lot of time to recharge before anything beyond basic mobility returned.âTurn off anything but basic support and articulation systems,â ordered Tony. âLetâs try and recharge a little faster than normal if we can.âHe raised the face mask, gulping fresh air for the first time in the afternoon. He quietly observed the strange, purple logo on the wing of the alien. He would ask his friends to run a match and see if there was any more information in their extensive databases. He couldnât remember all the villains he had ever encountered but he was sure this was a new antagonist. He waited several minutes, breathing hard, before asking Friday, âAny match for that symbol in our databank?ââNone at the moment,â began Friday, âbut once we are re-connected to the external databases more options may be available.âSuddenly, a large metal hand spasmed in the water.Tony looked alarmingly at the metal robot shuddering.âFriday, status!â he exclaimed, alarmed.âPower levels at 6%. Basic mobility at 25%,â began Friday.âCan we take it out with repulsors?â asked Tony, lowering the face plate and extending his gauntlets, palms outward, towards his enemy. The wind started to pick up, throwing waves onto the shore once more.âRepulsors at insufficient charge to critically damage an opponent of this size. We might be able to manage a few shots but without advanced scanning itâs a crapshoot,â observed the AI.âOptions?â asked Tony, his weary mind racing once more.âLetâs see what Thor can do,â stated the A.I.Tony looked up.(Bonus question â How long would Starscream last against Thor?)The sky grew dark very quickly, kicking up wind and water over the Decepticon. He had just recovered and was raising his considerable bulk out of the river. His eyes seethed with rage, his face a snarl as he locked onto the small red and gold figure on shore.âYour life is over, miserable little primate!â he declared. He raised his left arm cannon and tried to steady himself against the ever increasing wind and surf.Heavy rain began to whip against his body.Thunder crackled ominously overhead. He had never known Earth weather to be so turbulent and localized. The little metal figure standing on shore, 30 feet away, was not the least bit affected.Starscream, however, was being buffeted by winds of 110 miles per hour, and hail the size of golf balls was assaulting him, throwing off his focus. Was that a voice, coming from above? The Decepticon could scarcely believe his audio receptors.âBase villain! Thou shalt not stand!â cried Thor, Asgardian god of thunder. He willed a lightning bolt to sizzle downward, splitting the skies to strike the metal robot below. Another lightning bolt followed within seconds, then another. The Transformer had taken all the punishment his Cybertronian frame could bear.Mortally exhausted he shut down once more, overloaded beyond even his capacity to easily recover.Starscream crashed into the water again, face landing in the shore, his arms flopping haphazardly. The storm died down as suddenly as it began. The large, immortal frame of Thor landed gently beside Tony Stark.âI heard thy whispered prayers my friend, and came as quickly as I could from Asgard.âTony was ecstatic.âThor! You just took down that beserk son of a kidâs toy with a localized, MEGA, superstorm! Thatâs incredible!âThor looked lost in thought for a few moments before responding.âAye. âTis easier these days for a thunder god to sow energies of destruction in the skies. The Earth is angry. Her emotions manifest as stronger storms and disasters.âIron Man was incredulous.âCâmon Thor. Iâve met gods, yourself included. The Earth? Itâs a big chunk of rock in space with a habitable zone, resources and lots of little things scurrying on it like us humans.ââAre not earthquakes but the trembling of her body? Hurricanes and tornadoes - the railing protest of her voice? Volcanoes - naught but the tip of her fury at being slowly destroyed,â replied the thunder god in a tone heavily tinted with irony and regret.âPlate tectonics and..â started the hero.âAm I not the progeny of All Father Odin, and his mate, Gaea, the Elder goddess of the Earth?â interrupted Thor quietly. âDoes the frequency of events, as you mortals spin so often, seem to be rather ill timed?âTony paused. He had learned to respect the ancient being at his side, manyfold, during their numerous adventures together. While seemingly in the aspect of a humanoid with impressive proportions Thor was, ultimately, a god whose depth of knowledge and experience allowed a unique, highly focused, point of view.He was no Asgardian fool.Thor had given Iron Man food for thought.âTony, son of Stark, the time for debate has passed. I must return to my duties in Asgard. Call me whenever thou hast dire need and I will attend thee again,â interrupted Thor gently. âI will dispense yon metal warrior with the Captain.âThor easily picked up the large, comatose, Decepticon and whirled his impossibly heavy Uru hammer at an impossibly quick speed.Suddenly he was cast upward, disappearing quickly into the bright blue Texan sky.Iron Man sat back on his haunches, his advanced armour instantly supporting his body in the most comfortable way possible. The suit had already started to repair itself and was replenishing its energy using the warm, full, sun of a traditional Texas afternoon.Tony relaxed and felt the suit piece itself back together. It was a pleasant, ephemeral, feeling almost like driving on a safe, well lit, country road in a super luxury car.His genius level intellect was grasping at something just beyond the fringes of cognition, like a child touching a cookie jar on a counter just a little too high. The strange encounter today, last monthâs skirmish with six alien hunters, the incident outside Chicago around Christmas, they all involved very strange opponents with very bizarre readings.âFriday?â asked Tony.âWould you like access to scanning logs or a curated wine list?â replied the perceptive AI in a pleasant, Irish voice.Tony smiled. He already knew that Friday was constantly monitoring him and anticipating based on her advanced learning AI routines. But he couldnât stop smiling whenever she almost thought like him, or Pepper Potts, his devoted aide and confidante.âDo you like always scanning my deep cerebrum to predict my behaviour, Friday?â tested Tony, curiously.âItâs a living,â quipped the AI non-commitally. âWould you like to see Logs, Alcohol, or Schematics?ââBusiness as always â Iâll have to work with you a little more on your delivery,â promised Tony.âNoted, for the 38th time,â replied the same sweet, professional voice.âCall up the X-scan logs for date marks 2018, 6, 7, 4, 14 and 12, 25, 2017. Nothing but the U-Bands,â commanded Tony.âThereâs 24 pages of data. I can see your cerebrum working. In these instances I noticed specific parts working harder than others, indicating you want to look for anomalies, scan for patterns, while you think about improving my performance,â stated the AI.Tony paused, pleased with himself and his AIâs observations.âYour performance can wait,â began Tony.âNoted, for the 3rd time today,â interrupted Friday.Tony continued, nonplussed.âRiiight. Anyway, scan associated binary logs for energy anomalies in the first minutes of those encounters, then let me know what you find,â he asked.âJust a moment. Would you like to review the latest issue of World Wide Wines while waiting? You should have enough time to read the new releases,â Friday answered.âJust step on it please,â replied Tony. A growing feeling of uneasiness was starting to claw at him.âIâm noticing increased activity in your amygdala â letâs suit up and those results will be ready,â offered Friday.Tony didnât answer. He already reviewed his memories of the logs and had projected Fridayâs analysis. He may not have known the precise answer but he was sure that his educated hunch was going to be in line with his AIâs.He quickly stood up and felt the suit auto assemble itself around him.Skin tingled as subdermal mesh interfaced with the inner lining of the Iron Man suit. The collective slither of semi autonomous nano technology felt like a gentle caress as titanium ceramic armour encased his body. His helmet smoothly slid around his skull with the visor flipping over his face, sealing him in once more.Friday displayed her conclusions.Tony whistled. He was right and wrong all at once.âFriday, call Reed and Pym,â Tony began calmly. âRent out the usual meeting area in Non-Space. Weâve got a developing situation on our hands.ââI have already signNowed out to Mr. Richards and Mr. Pym. The rental agreement is being finalized as we speak,â confirmed Friday.âHow long to signNow New York?â asked Tony.âOne and a half hours under optimal conditions. If I call Nick Fury he can meet us half way,â stated Friday.âI could kiss you for that,â quipped Tony as he triggered the repulsor jets.âOnly if Ms. Potts and I agreed, beforehand,â stated the AI firmly.Tony didnât reply as he launched, smiling, into the sky, the glowing Texan landscape below dwindling away rapidly... .. .Motives. Unbound.â notes a flat stretch of one dimensional light.âSecure vanguards,â comes the reply in a voice deeper than Time and twice as old.Dimensional walls shudder, briefly, and all is still once more. But for how long?

Is Tejas a world class air fighter?
Let's not take all the bogus âLow Indian self-esteemâ answers/opinion here at face value. Let's talk about TECHNOLOGY!Design: The Tejas is an Unstable design with Relaxed static stability(RSS). Unstable design with RSS is more agile and maneuverable than conventional 4th generation âstable designsâ. In simpler words, an unstable 2 wheeler bike will have better turn rates and agility than a stable 4 wheeler. I believe Tejas is the most unstable fighter in the IAF.2. Flight Controls: Unstable designs need a power Flight control system to maintain artificial stability in the air. In this regard, Tejas has the most advanced Flight control system in the world:- A Quadruplex (4 channel) Digital Fly by Wire system. The Su-30MKI is the only other fighter in the IAF with comparable Fly By Wire system. Mirage2000 has a very basic 2 channel Fly By Wire system, while the remaining fighters in the IAF still have mechanical controls and no Fly by Wire system.3. Aircraft Make: Tejas is a World beater in this category. Traditionally fighters were made completely of metal. But modern 4.5th generation fighters have a lot of advanced composites over metal in the airframe. Composites are easier to maintain, makes the fighter lighter and most importantly does not reflect radar waves making the fighter stealthy. Coming to Tejas, 90% of the Airframe surface area is made of composites, the highest in the world!4. Stealth: Tejas is not only the stealthiest fighter in the IAF but also arguably the stealthiest 4.5th generation fighter in the world. Its radar signature is estimated to be just 1/3rd of a Mirage2000. Apart from the use of composites and its small size a Y-duct inlet which shields the engine compressor face from probing radar waves, and the application of radar-absorbent material (RAM) coatings are intended to minimize its susceptibility to detection and tracking.5. Cockpit and avionics: The Tejas has a Glass cockpit with 100% Digital controls., unlike Mirage2000/Mig 29, etc which traditionally have a lot of analog systems controls in the cockpit. The biggest stamp of approval about the avionics are from the pilots themselvesâ"Tejas is best in its class with excellent onboard systems and avionics," said the ace pilot hailing from Srirangam in Tamil Nadu. He said the avionics in Tejas is leagues ahead when compared to other contemporary aircraft of its kind in the world. âRead more at https://www.oneindia.com/india/t...6. Talking Fighter? : Some of the most advanced software have gone into developing the Tejas making it an intelligent âtalking machineâ. The Tejas is highly responsive to the pilotâs inputs giving him all the information he needs to have access to. It tells you what all it is capable of and what it cannot do. The aircraft also tells you what is wrong with it. As an engineer, you need not to break your head to diagnose technical issues as it also pinpoints any issues during maintenance.âIntelligentâ Tejas does the âtalkingâ; pilots & engineers are not complaining7. Thrust to Weight Ratio: Tejas has a TW ratio of 0.96(100% fuel), which is the best in its class among all Light Combat Fighters in the world. Conclusion: To be fair, Tejas is one of the most advanced platforms in the world as of today. Its Design, Flight controls, Composite usage, Software, Avionics, and all other Core technologies are comparable to the Best in the World. Its wide range of Weapons package is also impressive! While Mig 29, Mirage2000, Jaguars start to get obsolete 12â15 years down the line..it will be the Su-30MKI and Tejas that will form the backbone of the IAF.Debunking some misconceptions about this brilliant fighter though :Tejas is overweight: No, Tejas is the Lightest 4.5th generation fighter in the world. Asking for anything lighter is living in unrealistic fantasy land.Weak Thrust to Weight Ratio: As mentioned before, the Tejas has a TW ratio of 0.96, best in its class. Offcourse its always better to have a higher TW ratio and the Tejas mk2 would possibly have a TW ratio of over 1.00, but 0.96 is from no angle âweak. Its better than Mirage2000, JF-17, Jas Gripen, FA-50, Jaguars to name some. Most of the parts are imported: False. Most of the parts are Indian. In terms of numbers, 25% of the components are imported. In terms of value, it is 40%.The third line of Defence: That's a bogus thing that keeps repeating.Su-30MKI is the first line..Mirage2000 second line..Tejas 3rd line bullshit. There is no such concept in the IAF. Though most fighters in the IAF are Multi-role, they excel at certain roles which are then appointed to them.High maintenance: Absolutely not. Its one of the easiest to maintain owing to the fact its single engine, Light, has a composite aircraft and advanced software to point out the issues.Low Range and Payload: Its Range and Payload is proportional to its Weight. You cannot expect a Horse to carry as much weight as an Elephant. In fact, I would say Tejas packs more than its Weight. Being just 6.5 tons, it can carry another almost 6 tons of Internal fuel + External payloads. And Finally to conclude-Overall How does Tejas compare to Migs and Mirages in the IAF? :To a specific query on how best was Tejas when compared to the MiGs and Mirages, Ranga said: "Generation ahead of Mirage, MiG. You can't compare apples with oranges."Read more at https://www.oneindia.com/india/t...Why is Tejas generation ahead of Migs and Mirages is explained in the first 7 points?

Is HAL Tejas really a junk fighter aircraft?
Anonymous OP= Sadist w/o enough proof and evidence a.k.a TROLL.So here it is for Yaâall sadists fanboys.LOOK AT IT. UNDERSTAND IT. DIGEST IT. RESPECT IT!The answer is very long, but I assure you that it is to the point and will answer both questions in detail. The LCA-Tejas is the replacement for the soviet origin Mig-21 fighter aircrafts, which have been in air for around 70 years with various air-forces across the globe, Indian Air Force being a major customer with considerable numbers still in service. The LCA has hit the production lines and 123 are on order. But it is still a question if LCA is a worthy successor to the Mig-21? and if the country has gained anything from this or is it just another piece of junk? This answer shall dig into the above questions.Content:1.Role2.Aerodynamics3.Stealth4.Safety5.How it has helped the country?ROLE:Mig-21: It was primarily designed and inducted as an Interceptor, Later it was modified as CAS and a airsuperiority fighter.LCA: Point defense, multi-role fighter.Inference: The primary job of an interceptor is to gain speed and height quickly and to intercept incoming threats. They are not primarily designed to undertake CAS and Air-superiority fighter roles whereas LCA from the first day was supposed to be a multirole fighter. The design of Mig allows it to travel at very high speeds with degraded performance at low speed where as LCA has a balanced performance in all speed regimes.Little knowledge before going further:Aspect Ratio(AR): Ratio of total lenth of wing(wing span) to ChordWing loading(WL): It is ratio of gross weight to be carried by wing to area of wingLeading edge/Trailing edge :Anhedral/Dihedral:Chord: Line joining Leading edge to trailing edgeAOA: Angle between chord and Wind.Critical AOA: AOA for which lift is maximum or angle after which lift starts decreasing rapidly.Relation of AR with lift:Lift Vs AOA for various AR:Inference :Higher AR will have higher LiftMore the AR less will be the Critical AOA.Higher the AR, higher the induced dragAerodynamics of Delta Wings:Lift generated by delta wing has two components: Vortex lift+Potential Flow lift (read Lift on a flat plate)At lower angle of attack the lift is only the Potential flow component.(AOA=0*-5*)At higher angle of attacks Vortex are generated by the leading edge, which flow over wing and creates a low pressure region over wing and hence lift is generated.(AOA=5*-20*)At higher AOA the vortex starts getting disturbed and lift is decreased but can be controlled by certain measures.(AOA=20*-30*)Delta wing shows low lift at low A.O.A because of following reasons:More surface area for given amount of lift causes more viscous drag which decreases Lift/Drag ratio. More the ratio is better the lift.At low AOA the formation of vortex is not uniform or flow separation or due to vortex burst(I oversimplified way too much).Relation of WL with Maneuverability: The less the WL the better and faster will be the roll maneuver.AERODYNAMICS:Wing Type:Mig-21: Pure Cropped Delta with tail.LCA: Cropped Compound tailless delta.Inference: Mig had an extra control surface that added to the drag at high speed regime. Being pure cropped delta has itâs fair share of disadvantages as i mentioned above. Also due to the design the take off speed and distance is more for Mig-21 than Tejas.AR:Mig-21: 2.2LCA: ~1.75(Wing span^2 / wing area)Inference: Mig-21 focuses on more lift whereas LCA for less drag, no one wins in this department all matter of priorities. Trade-offs canât be avoided.WL:Mig-21: 452LCA: 247Inference: LCA is a clear winner, this makes LCA more maneuverable in combat.Thrust to Weight Ratio:Mig-21: 0.7LCA: 1.07Inference: LCA wins, this gives LCA a better climb rate than Mig-21.Wing Position:Mig-21: -2* dihedralIts 2 deg annhedral sirLCA: Anhedral:Inference: Anhedral position of delta wings generates extra lift. LCA wins.AOA: This part is tricky.Mig-21:30*LCA:28*Inference: Despite using dihedral swept back cranks LCA has AOA 2* less than Mig-21, but at the same time it is good in terms of existing 4.5 gen aircrafts. The reason for the following can be the pure delta of Mig-21 which are best suited in for high AOA but poor lift at low AOA where as LCA tries to keep the lift enact even at low AOA and low speed, so the reduction of 2* AOA in LCA is a trade-off for a wider flight envelope.STEALTH:Inlet:Mig-21: Inlet cone with Inlet at front of the plane.LCA: Supersonic, Y-duct below and behind the wing.Inference: Mig doesnot gives stealth due to the protruding cone and compressor RCS just visible at the front whre as LCA has two advantage:Stealth by covering the Compressor RCS.Continious suppply of air at high AOA.Material Used:Mig-21: Mostly metal or alluminium alloyLCA: 44% is Carbon composite.Inference: LCA is more lighter, stronger and stealthier.Wing Blending: The Blending of wing with fuselage in LCA does two things:Lower down the RCS.Make fuselage a Lift generating object. This feature is not present in Mig-21.RAM: Extensive use of RAM(Radar Absorbing Materials) decrease the RCS both of body and the Cockpit through canopy.SAFETY:Needless to say from the day LCA was first flown it had never ever met with an accident, Mig-21 doesnot have a appreciable safety record which has earned it the name of âFlying Coffinâ.IS LCA PROJECT A SCAM ON TAXPAYERS MONEY?Well, probably whatâs your say on these? We paid $2B for INS vikramaditya when it was projected to be several millions. We are paying more than $3B for FGFA but the work share and ToT is still questionable. We are major share holder in Mig-29 and SU-30 MKI developement and still the supplier doesn't share spare parts of the same, result being more than 40% fighters being grounded at any given time and frequent crashes. We bought T-90S but it's FCS, Armour and Air condition, RCWS all run on that developed by DRDO for Arjun MBT, same stands for T-72 CIA. Reason Russia didnât share the ToT as per agreement.Add up all these and the total financial figure can easily cross $10B. But still the media never shys away from calling this utterly over expensive, frequent maintainance and accident prone Russian equipments some sort of âBrahmastraâ and the LCA which hasnât met with an accident so far and an availability of 73% all the time a DUD. This is a bigger scam. Isnât it?Coming to Tejas:1. It was meant to replace Mig-21 which was not a key fighter either.2.LCA remains the cheapest programme with just $1B on itâs R&D. Atleast one-fourteenth of the budget of nearest contemporary and still comparable. Can the OP produce any official reports to quantify the fact that an aircraft which is developed by an R&D organisation whose Total R&D budget is one-sixth of an E-retailing companyâs R&D and having underpaid scientists as compared to itâs international peers is a SCAM.IS IT A CHEAP MIRAGE COPY?Perhaps NO. Why?Here is it :WING POSITION W.R.T FUSELAGE:Mirage: Flat i.e 0* w.r.t to horizontol axis.LCA: AnhedralInference: For Delta Wings Anhedral placement creates more lift, which further help to counter the lack of lift during slow speeds in tejas but thats not the case with Mirage, suffers lack of lift during slow speeds.Extra LIFT AND PERFORMANCE INCREMENT DEVICES(Canards/LERX/Chine etc):Mirage: Small strake on the intakes above wing.LCA: Crank (Marked in pink and dihedrally placed)Inference: Mirage doesnot have any Lift increment device, the strakes it uses it gives a littlehelp in maintaining airflow at high AOA but not very effective , unlike tejas whose dihedrally positioned forward swept crank helps it a lot to maintain lift at high angle of attack(AOA) by delaying flow separation above wings.BLENDING WING : Look at wing- fuselage for junction both :Mirage: The junction is clearly visible.LCA: There is blending of juction between wing-fuselage.Inference: Now this feature does two things-Makes the fuselage self lift creating object.Helps to reduce the RCS and add stealth to aircraft.Mirage is in disadvantage in this one.WING-LOADING : The lower the better. Lower wing loading is a key deciding factor about the maneuverability of aircraft. Lower wing-loading helps in better dogfight.Mirage:337 kg/mÂČLCA: 247 kg/mÂČNow comes the most complex of all but rather ignored topic the INTAKES. The topic is scientifically very critical in deciding the performance of aircraft. The position of inlet:Mirage: Beside the fuselage.LCA: Under and Behind wing.Inference: Putting the inlet sidewise, creates airflow moving over the surface of the fuselage develops a turbulent boundary layer, and ingesting this turbulent boundary layer into the engines may causes problems in the compressors if not it adds to drag. Also at high AOA this position of inlets does not ensure a good performance but in case of tejas the position of inlet behind wind ensures a considerable of amount of air supply to engine at high AOA which is not in case of Mirage.Type of Intake:Further the intakes of Mirage are old gen intake comprising inlet cone but which doesnot helps to guard the compressor RCS, but Tejas uses Y-Duct intake that curtails the compressor RCS and gives a big RCS reduction to tejas and adds to tejasâs stealth which is not the case with Mirage.Above: Inlet cone of Mirage; Below: Y-duct inlet design. Conclusion: Where Mirage was primarily developed to replace Mirage III it was supposed to be a interceptor and good ground attack capability which are the strong points of mirage but lacks little bit in Air to Air and Stealth capability whereas the LCA was always supposed to be point defense fighter to replace Mig-21 , hence it was supposed to have a well balance of ground attack, Air to Air combat and Stealth. Though LCA lacks in terms of range but thats a trade off between aerodynamics, stealth and attack capability just like the Mirage which does just the reverse. Itâs all matter of priorities. The following points proves that LCA is not copy of Mirage-2000 either!A SHEAR WASTE OF TAXPAYERS MONEY?Hell No, I donât believe so!TEJAS IS NOT A FIFITH GENERATION AIRCRAFT. IT WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ONE. IT IS REPLACEMENT FOR MIG-21. IT DOES JOB QUITE WELL. LETS KEEP IT THAT WAY. TELLING TEJAS IS FIFTH GENRATION AIRCRAFT WHEN IT IS NOT IS UNDERMINING THE AIRCRAFT DELIBERATELY. WE HAVE FGFA AND AMCA PROGRAMMES TO TAKE CARE OF FIFTH GENERATION AIRCRAFT NEEDS.Rest of the answer i am reposting one of my earlier ones:IAF is at least of its air squadron power ever, this answer shall also look into this point if this situation was sudden or it was predictable.HAL tejas a failure or Success?Well its time to find outâŠContent:History of developement: HAL Marut, MCA(Most of us wonât have even heard of it), LCA-tejasTechnologies developed: Fly-by wire, engine, radar, aerodynamics, avionicscontribution to the industry/ country .comparison of budgets with other fighter jets?Letâs start with:HISTORY:HAL MARUT:The first supersonic fighter jets in Asia.Served efficiently from 1960â1991 without any severe problems. Also IAF was enjoying aerial supremacy in the region with the newly developed and bought 1200 Mig-21, during this time the PLAAF was not as strong as IAF. But Chinese realised âSOMETHINGâ that we (excluding navy) didnât and are still denying from realising it.It was first fighter jet developed, designed and manufactured in India. It got some engine problems, GTRE did developed engine for it, it worked with complete efficiency but was incompatible with aircraft. Had there been foresightedness in airforce, governement and beuraucracy a little more funds would have given us a new engine for Marut. But Marut died a slow death given by beuraucracy, poor R&D funding(which still is poor), and lack of foresightedness.HAL MCA(Medium Combat Aircraft): Say Hello to this Guy!!It was the twin engined, vertical stabilizer less, 360 Thrust vectoring nozzle aircraft a.k.a twin engined MCA(big brother of MCA)It was proposed in early 2000s.But We did the same mistake again, IAF showed little interest in the program and the plan was shelved back in 2000s and the IAF insisted on the LCA and insisted for 126 MCA from foreign and hence started the saga of 126 MMRCA with tender being issued in 2001. The deal was signed for just 36 in 2016. We wasted 16 years again, had there been foresightedness and less corruption in the system , with proper absorption of public and private industry, this thing would have been already into the sky. But, it never saw the daylight and remained a proposal.HAL TEJAS:The so called 1980 is just a media propaganda, it was the year IAF mentioned this matter, 1984 ADA was formed and 1990 finally funds were released so actual commencement was 1990 and not alleged 1980.At last there was some ray of hope though tarnished by 1999 nuclear test embargos, Tejas took to the sky in 2001.LCA was named tejas by then PM.Shri Atal Bihari Bajpayee. The programme went well till 2004, it slowed down after 2004 due to slack nature of then government, corruption throughout the reign rocked the entire country during this period, Let alone tejas it was just a small Fighter jet under developement.2014 BJP governement came back again with absolute majority and Defense Minister being Manohar parrikar, clearly stating that Tejas is his dream project.Tejas programme in this two year period i.e 2014â16 saw a faster speed of developement with 123 strong tejas being ordered by DAC and in early 2017 itâs FOC started with successfull firing of Derby guided missile in guided missile mode.TECHNOLOGIES DEVELOPED:Airframe and Aerodynamics(including stealth):The exact RCS of tejas is unknown. But it is said that it is â1/3 of mirageâ, considerably low as compared to other 4th generation aircrafts because ofHigh usage of carbon composites.Being small in size adds to the lowering the RCS.Y-shape inlets that reduces the heat signature of the engine..Use of RAM(Radar Absorbent material) paints.Addition of AESA radar in mk1a and mk2 will ensure that tejas locks on to the target before target sees it which adds to the LO feature.Radar waves normally enter the cockpit reflects of objects & possibly return to the radar and even the HMD of pilot itself contributes to RCS. To avoid this Tejas canopy is coated with a thin film transparent conductor of Indium Tin Oxide. The coating is thin enough that it has no adverse effect on pilot vision and can reflect the radar waves away from the radar antenna.quadraplex digital fly-by-wire control system.ENGINE:A little bit history about the kaveri engine:The GTRE GTX-35VS Kaveri is a turbofan project developed by the (GTRE), a lab under the DRDOT the Kaveri was originally intended to power production models of the Tejas LCA fighter. This was approx 202 mn $ project.Later on the project was divided into two category: K9 and K 10K9: Will be completely indigenous with only foreign consultation and certification.K10: Will be a joint venture with a foreign partner.Problems that occured:Kaveri engine in its present form uses directionally solidified blade technology which is rather an old tech and it couldnât tolerate the high temperature in its combustion chamber called âKabiniâ. The solution was âsingle crystal bladesâThe thrust generated was nearly 65 to 70% of what was needed.Performance decay at high altitude.A peculiar noise when in after burning mode..Here comes the MMRCA deal which many think was a bad decision by the current leadership as it just bought 36 rafales. But if we look closely to the offset, it was boon to us as under the offset:Snecma which manufacture the Rafales M-88 core agreed to help and signNow the engine in 18 months.DRDO has been given a virtual carte blanche to channelise offsets from the Indian Rafale deal to resurrect the Kaveri.Snecma, a partner in the Rafale programme, builds the Rafaleâs twin M88 turbofan engines. Under the terms of the partnership , Snecma is working to modify, signNow and integrate the Kaveri on a Light Combat Aircraft airframe before 2020.A later phase in the partnership will involve modifications on the Kaveri for a twin configuration on Indiaâs AMCA fifth generation fighter concept and an altered non-reheat version for the Ghatak UCAV.According to DRDO chief the kaveri engine will be ready by next aero india.Another good new is that altitude test and flying test bed trials have been completed. Official statement of MoD in Parliamentâ In a written reply to the Lok Sabha in December 2016, Minister of State for Defence Subhash Bhamre had called the effort of the GTRE in developing the engine as âan attempt to mastering one of the most complex technologiesâ. The minister said the altitude test and flying test bed trials for the engine had been completed and other developmental problems were being addressed to make the engine flight-worthy through in-house efforts as well with assistance from abroadâ.The engine will be first used on Tejas PV-1.Other uses will beGhatak UCAV(Dry variant or w/o afterburner)AMCATejas Mk2Also, Rolls royce has collaborated with DRDO on developing the K10 engine. This engineâs first prototype is to be expected in 12 month. Samyukta is also another EW suite that has used the experience from past developement of Mayavi and tusker EW.Early version of tejas (PVs) had analog display now they fly on Digital display designed by DARE(DRDO).Also DARE has developed the litening targetting pod for effective targetting of air version of brahmos.Itâs HMD is ELBIT designed, but its friend and foe detection is designed by DRDO.UTTAM AESA (Further updates:Soikot Banerjee (à€žà„à€à€à„à€€ à€Źà„à€šà€°à„à€à„)'s answer to Is India developing/working on AESA radars?)radar has given rise to many other forms of AESA radar such as that used on swordfish radar, AEW&C, recently successfully launched QRSAM.CONTRIBUTION TO COUNTRY/INDUSTRY:Private sector giants especially TATA SED and L&T have gained a lot of experience in electronics and manufacturing respectively. It has created a chain of MSMEs.Almost entire fuselage which includes wings, center of fuselage is made by private companies and HAL is only a integrator.AMOUNT OF RESOURCE:Tejas is the most economical 4.5 gen aircraft programme ever with $1 bn spent on programme, whereas Gripen is 14 bn$ programme and F-16 even more.Tejas has never ever faced an accident whereas its competitor Grippen has faced Two accidents.Given the amount of experience by spending the least amount of money compared to any fighter jet programme as shown by above facts and two failed attempts to develope or continue to develope a fighter jets, TEJAS LCA IS A SUCCESS.The âSOMETHINGâ that i mentioned earlier is the thing that complete indigenisation is the only way you can survive for long and you can see how strong and thriving the chinese aerospace industry is now(you can abuse me as traitor, porkistani and whatever you may like). But itâs time to accept that only R&D can give us what we call as self reliance and not so called ToT that we keep asking from other nations. No nation will give critical technologies that have made them pioneers of their respective field. By giving critical tech to another company, no parent company in sane mind would create their own competitor. But w/o critical tech we canât modify the weapon platforms according to needs as all IPR are reserved with the parent company, forget about creating a new one.Hence LCA TEJAS is a success and the present squadron crisis was predictable and also preventable had there been foresightedness in IAF, beuraucracy to develope complete R&D infrastructure by consuming potential of both private and public sector also academic institutions to the fullest.Hope this is sufficient for you, or else I can serve more but that will be on further requests. With predessors such as JAGUAR, PANAVIA & HARRIER, Its a European consorcium Fighter UK, Germany , Italy & Spain - first proto type released in Mid 1990s. Hence It was a European solution to a European scenario.DESIGN & AERODYNAMICSThe ability to patrol and intercept hostile aircraft is known as Quick Reaction Alert. Typhoon is a master in it.Designed for Single Seat - STOL Capable - Twin Engine - Initially developed as Supersonic BVR interception and close combat , Multi Role adaptations. Typhoon is designed to perform at least five air missions very efficiently :Air superiorityAir interdictionSuppression of Enemy Air Defence (SEAD)Close Air Support (CAS)Maritime Attack. Its in active operational service with 9 Operators.(Consorcium members plus Saudia Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Austria ). More than 550 Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft have been successfully delivered to seven countries: Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Austria, Oman and Saudi Arabia; and ordered by two more: Kuwait and Qatar. Participated in combats during operations in Libya, Iraq and Syria.Length 15.96 m x Wingspan 10.95 m.Length 15.67 mtrs x Wingspan 10.67 mtrs for F- 35AHence slightly Big in Size then lets say F-35 Lightning IIMax Altitude Above 59,000 ftEuro Fighter is based on a Typical European Design of Unstable airframe , a foreplane Delta - wing forward canard configuration, with dual intakes under the fuselage & a single vertical stabilizer .The âconventional statically stableâ aircraft has a âbuilt-inâ inherent stability which requires a large wing area and causes a lot of drag that slows the aircraft under a turn.Fighter jets require Agility which is exact opposite of Stability. You want a fighter to be able to make turns & loops as quickly & easily as possible. Consequently, fighter aircraft rely on configurations that are unstable or neutrally stable. Canards help in this regard.CANARDS AND THIER IMPACTAn aeronautical device wherein a small fore-wing is placed forward of the main wing of a fixed-wing aircraft. A wide variety of canard designs have been proposed and flown over . Canards are used on aircraft whose main wings are well behind the center of gravity, such as the Eurofighter Typhoon..Carnards can be used as horizontal stabilizers as they being ahead of the C.G of the aircraft, acts directly to reduce longitudinal static stability. The aerodynamic advantages derived from the delta wing canard configuration :AERODYNAMIC FLOW RESULTING IN HIGH ANGLE OF ATTACK :Angle of attack is the angle at which the oncoming air meets the wing. At low angle of attack, the vertical tail provides directional stability. However, as the angle of attack increases, its effectiveness decreases.High angles of attack (AOA) can be translated into a very high instantaneous turn rate and gives maneuverability advantages. Modren fighter jets can exceed 90 degrees AOA - Yet the software limitâs them from 30 - 60 Degrees to prevent Air frame damage owing to Stresses and fatigue factors.Layman terms - Higher the angle of attack, the more lift is generated by the wing⊠ONLY UPTO A POINT.Thereafter the wing signNow its âCritical Angle of Attackâ , and at higher angles of attack the amount of lift generated drops dramatically.Beyond the critical angle of attack , the wing no longer effectively generates lift and jet is stalled. Canards stall before the wings. Canards smoothen the turbulence and create Laminar (non-turbulent) flow. Good vortex flow is obtained and a High Angle of Attack may be obtained.UNSTABILITY :Create Unstability which is preferred. Results in Agility. The result is balanced by applying Controlled by FBW Computer Systems. A statically unstable basic aircraft needs continuous stabilisation with the help of an active flight control system with full authority. The high angle of attack recovery (HAoA) function is an extension of the flight control systemâs angle of attack limitation. If the aircraft has a low speed and high nose angle, the angle of attack will be low at first but will increase and exceed the angle of attack limit as the speed drops further. The HAoA function and command will return the aircraft to the normal flight envelope in a controlled manner.CREATES LIFT :The canard essentially moves horizontal tail up to the nose and places the wing's center of lift behind the center of gravity. To balance the natural nose down tendency, Canard generates an upward lifting force - which helps oppose weight.Note that Canards results to produce âinduced dragâ , it is usually countered by high aspect ratio canards i.e long and narrow.Combined delta canard configuration and 538 ft2 wing size confer very low wing loading on 50% internal fuel, and are optimised for transonic manoeuvre and supersonic dash performance. The loosely coupled canard is intended to provide high control authority at high angles of attack, by placing the surfaces ahead of the main vortices, but also to provide lower trim drag in supersonic flight.A Modern Composite Airframe with constituents :Carbon Fibre Composites 70%Metals 15%Glass Reinforced Plastics (GRP) 12%Only 15% of the aircraftâs surface is metal. This gives a small Radar Cross section of RCS < 0.5 m2. Hence Typhoon makes slightly greater use of RAM and active canard signature management for frontal RCS reduction (As a comparison this is probably offset in the high-end survivability department by Active Syealth of Gripen E or Rafaleâs superior SPECTRA electronic warfare system).POWER PLANT & PROPULSION EXCELLENCEThe Euro Jet EJ - 200âs components were developed by Rolls-Royce plc, MTU, Avio Group SpA, and Industria Turbo Propulsores SA â all well-respected names. And, like the Eurofighter, The Euro-jet consortium hails from the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, and Spain. The EJ-200 is the most modern combat engine in its class â with the best thrust-to-weight ratio, thrust retention and smallest fan diameter â the EJ200 sets new standards for reliability and adaptability. Typhoon is powered by 2 x Eurojet EJ-200 afterburning turbofans , each develops a DRY THRUST of 65 KN / 14,000 LBS & 90 KN / 20, 500 LBS Thrust with REHEAT.It takes about 1 minute 30 seconds after take-off to signNow more than 30,000 feet, all the while maintaining intercept airspeed. The engine is compact, approximately 4 metres in length, 800mm (30 inches) in diameter and weighs around 1,000 kg. The two-spool design with single-stage turbines drives the three-stage fan and five-stage HP compressor with annular combustion with vaporising burners.Engines powering the Typhoons of UK Royal Air Force (RAF) routinely achieve a mean time between repairs of over 1,000 flying hours, while the fleet leader in RAF has achieved over 1,700 flying hours on-wing without need for repair. This is unprecedented in combat engines where on-wing hours can often be measured in the low hundreds for previous generation engines. Relaibility centric Predictive Maintenance is achieved through use of advanced integrated Health Monitoring for class-leading reliability, maintainability and through Life Cost.Capability to cruise at supersonic speeds without the use of reheat (After Burners) for extended periods. it can fly at sustained speeds of MACH 1.5 AT FULL COMBAT EXTERNAL LOAD without the use of afterburner.CRITICAL SUB SYSTEMS OF PROPULSION SYSTEMLP CompressorHP CompressorA.C.CTurbine StageRe Heat or After burner SystemsDECMU1- LP - LOW PRESSURE COMPRESSOREJ-200 consists of a 3-stage Low-pressure compressor (LPC) module & 5-stage High-pressure compressor. This provides a âHigh Surge marginâ (Typhoon pilots feedback often states it is virtually impossible to surge the engine), needs no heating devices to combat ice and has a high bird strike resistance. Each stage of the LPC is equipped with wide-chord integrated blade/disk (blisk) assemblies that are low in weight (each stage in the LPC consists of a single blisk with no removable parts) and are a major factor in the reduction of complexity easing the burden on maintenance cost and personnel. At the end of the Low Pressure Compression module, core air is compressed by a factor of 4.2.2 -HP - HIGH PRESSURE COMPRESSORAir is then directed to the High Pressure Compressor (HPC), which is again designed achieve high reliability and minimum maintenance effort.Like the LPC, HPC is also equipped with single blisks in the first three stages. HPC further compresses core air by a factor of 6.2, leading to air that has been compressed by a factor of 26. The fact that EJ200 achieves this in eight stages, far lesser than the nine or ten stages employed by engines of comparable performance, is testament to the efficient aerodynamic design of the blades.3 - ACC - ANNULAR COMBUSTION CHAMBEREJ-200s annular combustor receives the highly compressed air. Microspraying fuel increases combustion-efficiency and also reduces the visible emissions of oxides of nitrogen. The key factors in determining jet engine efficiency and achievable work are the temperature and pressure differences attained between the engine inlet and combustor outlet. Although the maximum temperature of air leaving the combustion chamber is classified, the outlet stator temperature is generally reported to be 200ÂșC higher than previous generation engines.4 - TURBINE STAGEDownstream of the annular combustion chamber is the High Pressure Turbine (HPT). In order to handle the large temperatures generated in the combustion chamber, the HPT uses air-cooled single-crystal blades. The HPT guide vanes utilise a special Thermal Barrier Coating which increases the life of the blade and increases the achievable operating temperature .Following the HPT is a single Low Pressure Turbine stage, again employing single crystal blades.5- AFTER BURNING SYSTEMSEUROJET has installed an innovative three-stage thrust augmentation system to supply reheat as and when required by the pilot. Downstream from the low-pressure turbine, in the exhaust duct, are the first two stages of the thrust augmenter. The first stage consists of a radial series of burners and their associated flame cups. Subsequent to this is a stage of âprimary vaporisersâ that spray fine mists of fuel that combust on contact with the hot exhaust air. Finally, the third stage comprises of fuel injectors located at the back of the bypass duct. These spray fuel into the cold, oxygen rich air that has passed through the duct unburned. It should be noted the dry performance of the engine is so good, pilots do not use reheat as much as other engines in this class. Operationally, this means more performance for less fuel.6 - DECMU (Digital Engine Control and Monitoring Unit)EJ-200âs Digital Engine Control and Monitoring Unit (DECMU) provides carefree handling for the whole turbo-machinery, automatically activates and controls the various stages of reheat, reduces pilot workload and provides engine monitoring and executive lifing functionalities. Executive Lifing measures actual usage rather than planned mission profiles which can achieve up to 50% Life Cycle Cost savings compared to other engines without this advantage. This is key not only to achieving the unparalleled standards of reliability but also in making the engine cost effective over its performance life. Executive Lifing reduces maintenance costs, especially given that the EJ-200 maintenance philosophy is a modular concept.Rate of Climb 317 Mtrs / SecWith 90KN ThrustSpeed 2.1 - 2.2 Mach & 2,900 kms RangeCombat RadiusGround attack, lo-lo-lo : 601 kmGround attack, hi-lo-hi : 1389 kmAir defence with 3hr CAP : 185 kmAir defence with 10-min loiter : 1389 kmG Limits : +9/-3 w/ int fuel and two AIM-120Impressive Thrust to Weight Ration of 1.15Empty Weight 22,000 lb / 9,999 kgMax Take-Off Weight 46,305 lb / 21,000 kgFerry Range 5,382 km / 3,310 miles â with 4 x drop tanksTyphoon is the faster aircraft and has a signNowly superior thrust-to-weight ratio which gives it better acceleration at all altitudes. This also allows Typhoon to retain and regain energy faster (than say Rafale) in a horizontal dogfight situation. Another key factor in maneuverability is Wing Loading ratio ; In aerodynamics, wing loading is the loaded weight of the aircraft divided by the area of the wing. It is expressed as kilograms per square meter, or pounds per square foot of wing area.Smaller the wing loading ratio , the better the turn performance.[math]Euro Fighter - 310 ; [/math][math]Rafale - 327 ; [/math][math]F15C - 358 ; [/math][math]F-18 - 460 Kg / m2. Modern and comprehensive Avionic package. The pilotâs control system is a voice throttle and stick system (VTAS). Heads Up and Heads Down Display systems M.H.D.D installed.Detection technology used in latest tranch is :X-band CAPTOR (I/J-band) ECR-90 pulse-Doppler multimode radar. An AESA radar provides an aircraft with a more efficient, more robust, longer-ranged and finer-detailed radar than older, mechanically scanned or passive systems. It has improved Jamming Resistance and acts immensely to increase the situational awareness and effectiveness of a modren fighter jet. The addition of an AESA radar has become necessary because almost all modern fighter aircraft have already transitioned to this architecture. The CAPTOR-E radar , being developed by the Euro RADAR Consortium led by Selex ES, is based on the existing âback endâ of the mechanically-scanned (M-scan) CAPTOR radar. All Weather Radar Features Synthetic Aperture, Multimode A/A and A/G Fire Control Radar and Weapon System Support, with over 1,000 modules and a new AESA antenna mounted on an innovative repositioner. It can also cover low band Frequencies VHF/UHF. This gives the radar an unmatched field of regard without compromising performance and reliability.P.I.R.A.T.E SYSTEMA Passive Infra-Red Airborne Track Equipment (PIRATE) system for infrared search and tracking or a Supplementary Radar. The Typhoonâs PIRATE IRST is far and away the most capable fighter-mounted system in operation anywhere in the world. Its phenomenal sensitivity caused problems during the first decade of service due to the sheer number of false positive returns but now that processing power has caught up enough to allow the sensitivity to be properly exploited for extremely long range detection of fighter sized targets, including stealth targets, it is becoming one of Typhoonâs strongest advantages in the air superiority arena. However, at present, the systems integration allowing the radar and IRST to be tasked together in an optimal fashion is still superior on Rafale. This is a core focus of capability upgrades in the P3E software package for Typhoon. The system picks up heat changes around it & by this spot subsonic aircraft as far away as up to 100km+. This means that the Typhoon can still shoot its advanced IR-tracking missiles at a target, even though its enemy has stealth features.PIRATE detects and tracks the Infra-Red signatures of multiple aircraft at long range, over a wide field of view, day & night and adverse weather conditions. Being a passive sensor, it enables the aircraft to gather early intelligence of threats and to manoeuvre stealthily into an advantageous tactical position without being detected by hostile electronic warfare systems.PIRATE is integrated with other on-board sensor systems for maximum sensor fusion effectiveness. PIRATE locates & provides âcueing informationâ on ground targets. It provides data and imagery to Headâs-up & Multi-function Headâs -down displays, facilitating navigation and terrain avoidance in adverse weather conditions.D.A.S.S SYSTEMDefensive Aid Sub System with Electronic Counter measures against incoming Missiles.Offering a comprehensive suite of electronic support measures and counter-measures, the Praetorian Defensive Aids Sub System developed by the Leonardo-led EuroDASS consortium, is carried in 2 x wing pods that are an integral part of the wing. DASS greatly enhances Eurofighter Typhoonâs ability to avoid, evade, counter and survive evolving threats. It consists of :Electronic Support Measures (ESM)A laser threat and missile approach warning systemAn Electronic Countermeasures System (ECM), decoys, towed decoysJammers and other sensorsAvionics.Eurofighter Typhoon D.A.S.S is also equipped with a âTowed Radar Decoyâ . carried in the starboad side as âbuilt inâ to the wing tip. Towed decoy systems are for defensive purposes & used to protect fighter jets from radar-guided missiles. These countermeasures are towed behind the host aircraft protecting it against both surface-to-air and air-to-air missiles. They provide a radio-wave reflecting baid that attracts the RF-guided missiles away from the intended target.Miniature Air Launched Decoy MALDENHANCED SITUATIONAL AWARENESSEven while still on the ground, the pilot can keep a check on the position of the aircraft to be intercepted via its Data-Link (a two-way radio-controlled data exchange). The Miniature Air Launched Decoy (MALD) is used to lure enemy air defence systems into revealing themselves or attacking aircraft or ISTAR systems that can provide targeting information for stand off weapons. With a range of 500nm, endurance of 45 minutes, operating altitude of 40,000 feet plus, speed of Mach 0.91, modular electronics fit and emissions signature that is designed to mimic allied aircraft it can also be used to simply overwhelm air defences with targets, if they attack MALD they are depleting their finite missile stocks. The data-link is provided by the Multiple Image Data System (MIDS). It aids situational awareness information to the pilot. As a case in point - The french Super Omni Jet Rafale utilises âa one-way datalinkâ with the missile when it has been fired, not the 2 - way âDatalinkâ. which Typhoon and Gripen E are equipped with â which allows for much more accurate and reliable guidance during very long range engagements whilst the missile is in semi-active mode.Kuwaitâs Typhoons will be the first to use the Lockheed Martin Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP), which has recently been upgraded to include two-color laser spot tracking, short-wave infrared, and advanced non-traditional intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (NTISR) modes.New-customer Typhoons Will Be the Most Advanced Yet***********************************************************************************In 2011, the RAF deployed 10 x Typhoon aircraft to its base in Italy for operations in Libya, and achieved 4,500 flying hours without an engine change. The aircraft operated in its air-to-air role and for the first time attacked ground targets using laser-guided Paveway bombs. âThe sensors on the aircraft are so good itâs a question of how we use that information and how we get it to other fast jets and ground allies. It is about ensuring the right information is in the right place at the right time.â â Air Cdre Linc Taylor, Royal Air Force.A U.K. Royal Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon used a brimstone missile to destroy a boat used by Islamic State in Syria, the RAF said Friday, 2019 February 22 release, marking the first time the aircraft has deployed the weapon system. Brimstone is an air-launched ground-attack missile developed by MBDA for the RAF, specifically to target enemy armor. The Brimstone launcher carries three missiles in a single weapon station. Its equipped with enhanced autopilot, the Dual Mode SAL / millimetric wave (mmW) seeker, and the insensitive munition-compliant rocket motor and warhead. For Air to Ground missions you have the ability to simply look outside at where a target is then cue the weapon system to look there with the Litening Designator Pod. Due to this capability it means that after identifying a target, you can drop a Paveway IV, 500-lb precision weapon on it in seconds.**************************************************************************************WEAPONSMauser Cannon 27 mmIt has 13 hardpoints which allows for up to 3 fuel drop tanks and 10 missiles/laser guided bombs or 13 missiles/laser guided bombsLong Range 6 x BVR Matra- Meteor AMRAAMClose range SRAAM is 2 x AIM-132 ASRAAM.A range of air-to-ground weapons can be carried, including the new Storm Shadow CASOM, Brimstone anti-armour weapon, and the future Precision Guided Bomb (PGB).Manufacturers ban Euro Fighhter in exports for carrying nuclear weapons. RAF standoff weapon is the Matra-BAe Storm Shadow cruise missile.SCALP - STORM SHADOW Air-Launched, Long RANGE , Stand-Off Deep Attack MissileThe Storm Shadow missile is designed to penetrate deep into hard rock targets. It is equipped with fire-and-forget technology and fully autonomous guidance. The missile has a length of 5.1m, wingspan of 3m, and a body diameter of 0.48m. It weighs 1,300kg and has a range of more than 250km. The Storm Shadow missile is equipped with a Turbomeca Microturbo TRI 60-30 turbojet propulsion system, which can produce a 5.4kN of thrust. The missile is fitted with a two-stage bomb royal ordnance augmented charge (BROACH) blast/ penetrator warhead. The first stage of the warhead makes the way for the second stage by cutting the surface of the target. The larger second stage (main) of the warhead then penetrates into the target and detonates. The navigation system of the missile includes inertial navigation (INS), global positioning system (GPS) and terrain reference navigation for better control over the path and accurate target strike. The missile is fitted with a passive imaging infrared seeker. Once released from the aircraft, the missile follows a pre-programmed path at low level with the help of continuous updates from the onboard navigation system. It employs imaging infrared seeker to compare the actual target area with stored imagery repeatedly until signNowing the target. The Storm Shadow is also in service with the air forces of Italy, Greece, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It is referred to as Black Shaheen in the UAE Air Force service. The Storm Shadow can be integrated into Tornado GR4, Tornado IDS, Saab Gripen, Mirage 2000, Rafale, Eurofighter Typhoon and JSF F - 35 aircraft.CROWN JEWEL BVR - M E T E O R MBDA** Meteor : Beyond Visual Range BVRAAM Air to Air with Active Radar Guidance.Meteor offers a multi-shot capability against long range manoeuvring targets, jets, UAVs and cruise missiles in a Loaded Electronic Counter Measure environment , called ECM. It has range well in excess of 100 kilometres . Meteor can be launched as a stealth missile. It is equipped with enhanced kinematics features. It is capable of striking different types of targets simultaneously in almost any weather.Meteorâs stunning performance is achieved through its unique ramjet propulsion system â solid fuel, variable flow, ducted rocket. This âramjetâ motor provides the missile with thrust all the way to target intercept, providing the largest No-Escape Zone of any air-to-air missile. No -escape zone of over 60 km is largest among air-to-air missiles according to manufacturer. Solid-fueled ramjet motor allows missile to cruise at a speed of over mach 4 and provides the missile with thrust and mid-way acceleration to target interception. The Typhoon is a super fighter within visual range , though we must always remember that at WVR , Its not fighting the aircraft but the pilot.*******************************************************************************COSTS AND REVIEW SUMMARYMaintenance cost of Typhoon is on higher side than that of Rafale.Unit Cost in excess of 125 MUS$ per aircraft.Euro Fighter Edges out all competitors such as Rafale in its Maneuverability, Higher THRUST Power , Increased Combat Radius, Excellent IRST , Advanced CM / Decoy system & higher Service Cieling . How would you increase lead generation?
Lead generation is relatively simple with certain interventions and the correct method. The purpose is to find promising potential customers and make contact with them. The key is to nurture those that lead to transformation. It's not as the great debate that many search engine optimization service suppliers make it out to be. There are tried and true methods for generating leads. Here are a few considerations:Search engine optimization (SEO)SEO improves the web search rating of your site using the business-related keywords you want to aim for. When prospective clients search for these keywords, they will discover your material in the search outcomes and may follow those links to your website. If your material serves their requirements, you have the opportunity to turn those prospects into leads. If SEO is not used as part of your marketing strategy, you're losing an excellent chance to get more traffic to your website.Increased internet traffic originates from mobile devices. However, the desktop layout design may appear distinct on smartphones owing to screen size constraints. Itâs important to have mobile optimization for all your marketing materials.Content marketing goes hand-in-hand with lead generation:Content enables you to draw audiences, transform them into leads, and create revenues. And once the visitors become clients, you can use more material to keep them updated and interested. These types of contents can give you a heads up:Building knowledge of your companyTalk about your products and servicesWrite about how the targeted audience can benefit in buying from you regularly.signNowing out to an audience with high-quality content on a very consistent basis is extremely crucial to a business, which is why top companies hire professional content writers.Website:The environment of advertising has altered. Your website is a sales representative with an integrated sales funnel. Sales representatives play a major role in educating your clients about your business, and so itâs best to treat your website like a sales rep. Thatâs where all the activity begins.

How do i add an electronic signature to a word document?
When a client enters information (such as a password) into the online form on , the information is encrypted so the client cannot see it. An authorized representative for the client, called a "Doe Representative," must enter the information into the "Signature" field to complete the signature.
How do they know an electronic signature is actually you?
And, more importantly, does it have a secret meaning, and are you actually the owner and not just someone pretending to be you?
The answer seems to be yes. In fact, it's the best answer any of the researchers could come up with: They believe that it's the secret to a digital signature, and their findings have been published in the academic literature.

And since then, digital signatures have been at the center of many new innovations in electronic banking, and now the technology has moved out-of-the-box into other areas, like online payment systems, the blockchain, and smart contracts.
And Chaum, who is also the author of the classic book "Digital Money: Theory and Practice," has been working to prove that electronic signatures are more than just something that can be used for digital signatures.
He did that with a proof-of-concept experiment at the University of Illinois a decade or so ago. He wanted to see whether it could be possible to take an el...
