What is the best way to give a PowerPoint presentation?
I completely agree about all the resources above - nothing can tell you how to present well and write great slide decks like watching people who do it brilliantly. My personal advice would be:Don't touch PowerPoint until you know what story you want to tell and how. I often start with mind-mapping, or maybe just a list of the key points I want to get across. It depends how long and complex the presentation is going to be.Don't touch PowerPoint unless you need it to help tell the story you want to tell. If you can do just as good a job by talking and showing a product demonstration, or by whiteboarding, skip the slides. They shouldn't be mandatory.PowerPoint will blank the screen if you press the B button. So if you don't need slides for all of your talk, or if you want to get focus back for emphasis, blank the screen to get people looking at you again. (Most presenter remotes will let you program a button to do that, some have one mapped already.)Remember it's not possible for your audience to read and listen at the same time.(This has been alluded to above but it bears repeating.) Never forget the presentation has to meet your audience's needs or it won't meet yours. Pick one or two people who will be in your audience. Imagine what they will get out of the presentation, then from every slide, then from every point or every word. If anything doesn't contribute to what the people in the room need from the presentation, kill it. Make every word and every graphic fight for its life.Practice, out loud, at least twice, all the way through. For most people, the first few times out loud will be clunky. You get to choose whether it's your furniture that sees them or your audience.Practice open, expansive, confident body language in a mirror, remember what it looks and feels like, so you can switch it on when you need to. Don't rush your words. Don't be afraid of pauses. Even if you're terrified and want to run from the room, faking confident body language will actually make you feel more comfortable.Good luck!

Is Initiative Q a scam?
It is quite a scam.It isn’t a blockchain or a cryptocurrency, it will just be like any other centralized online payment system like Venmo and PaypalVenmo and paypal aren’t bad, but they aren’t great either and they are as centralized as can get. You can get your funds frozen by paypal, hacked, the government can shut it down etc. etc.The same applies to InitiativeQ, everything that happens with it or with your funds is decided by their CEO.ConclusionInitiativeQ isn’t a scam 100%, but it’s quite scammy, because it claims that it will become one currency when already many, many other centralized online payment systems or currencies exist. Best case it could become like Paypal or Venmo, but they haven’t even built anything and building reliable fraud detection systems takes years. It will become a true scam once it launches and starts taking and managing people’s money, becuase a centralized currency cannot become the one and only true currency, becauseIt can be shut down and controlled by the governmentIt can shut down when the founder loses the desire to continue working on itIt can shut down when a new CEO comes in who is an idiot, because he runa the company into the ground, which is the case around 50% of the timeIt can screw up and lose the users’ funds, because of hacks, bugs, lawsuits, mismanagement so easilyIt is very prone to fraud compared to the blockchain and will be very vulnerable to fraud in the first 5 years, where people will lose a lot of money until it has matured. All in all, you can sign up to Initiative Q and claim your coins as long as you don’t pay anything for it! They don’t have anything new and they don’t have anything at all as of right now.

How do I get an invite for Oneplus 2 ? Does anybody have an extra invite?
OnePlus (company) OnePlus One (product) OnePlus India Never buy OnePlusOne or any other OnePlus Products in future. They do not care about their customers at all nor do Amazon. OnePlus has the worst service in the world. You cannot even imagine how worse until you face the situation.Only after a month of purchase my so called “Flagship Killer” stopped working properly. So, I went to their only service centre in Pune (which is as difficult to find as treasure hunt by the way). 1) Only after signNowing there I found that I will need printed Invoice copy of the phone (no other companies ask for it like Nokia) anyways according to their “policy “they won’t allow you to get printed from their office so you will have to look around to get a printed copy (anyways not a big deal).2) Now when you finally hand over your phone to them they will surprise you by telling you that it will take at least 3 days for checking any software issues and fix them in your phone( I can install new OS 100 times in the phone in 3 days) anyways you can wait 3 days no problem.3) Then they will give you almost hear breaking news that there is a hardware problem and it will take at least 25 days more to repair it ( even if it is going to some very remote location of Antarctica for repair it can come back in 25 days) and you won’t even get any standby phone, I had to live without a smartphone during these days.4) In mean while you will have to contact them for any updates on your phone as they don’t feel they are obligated to inform you once your phone is repaired or something even via email), anyways after contacting I found Motherboard of my phone was gone. So I requested them to replace my phone instead of repairing it as it’s only a month old phone I already started facing big issues like these!5) After 30 days looong quarrel over phone and Email you will be disappointed that is not in their “POLICY” to replace a phone with new one!! I mean why the hell you are selling a phone if you don’t care about your customers at all!!6) Anyways on exactly 29th days I called them and they told me that they have dispatched a new phone for me and I can collect it from service centre. To my surprise I got only the same old phone there waiting for me.7) After 30-40 min long arguments with customer support on why I didn’t get new phone and etc. (they kept on denying anything said about dispatching new phone). And finally I gave up and make my mind to go with my old phone and took it8) Now the best part: They switched my OS from CM11 to OxygenOS, without even asking me once. CM11 was the 1st reason I bought the phone. But the main issue I found after a Day or two of using the phone that it is getting heated up like it’s on burning flame or something and that too only when I used it only for video chat and video buffer on WIFI (I haven’t inserted my sim card yet) I don’t even know what will happen if I use my phone over 3G/4G network for whole day and outside my home in some little hot environment.Oh by the way I was promised and assured smooth and stable functioning of the phone after repairmen when I was asking them for the new one.I can’t even sell this phone now as I don’t feel it right to fool someone and take his money by promising perfectly working condition phone because it is not.OnePlus is not at all concerned about customer satisfaction. All they care about is making money by selling these kind of defective phone. Please if you care about the money you have earned so hard and want to get its worth don’t buy OnePlusOne

How do I make a great PPT?
How can I make a good PPT?It really depends on the purpose of the presentation. Is it a school project? A business presentation? A sales pitch? An academic presentation?Primarily, a good presentation needs to support you in bringing your message across in the most effective and compelling way possible. The best way to do that is definitely NOT to create slide after slide of bullet points with long run-on sentences and then read out the slides in a droning monotone. That would be “death by PowerPoint”.Beyond this rather obvious point, we’re back to “it depends”. In a corporate context, proper and clean application of the company’s corporate design is very, very important. The presentation is not just you, presenting your topic - you are often also representing the company in the eyes of your audience. Sloppy presentations simply look badly thought out and inevitably weaken your message. One thing which might help here is that I always recommend that people think carefully about the role of their PPT. Many people have fallen into this strange zombie-like state of thinking “Hey, I have to hold a presentation next week - so I’ll slap together a few slides, then I’m done.” Well, no. That’s lazy and sloppy. And it puts you in the 95% of people who use PPT as an excuse to actually thinking their topic through properly.A better way to proceed could be to start off by thinking “Okay - now what are the four or five key messages that I absolutely need to get across in this presentation? I usually suggest that there is room for one key message per five minutes time. You got ten minutes? That’s two key messages. Choose well, Padawan! Then think about how you could best get those messages across. What background information does the audience need to have, what do they need to understand? What points support your argument? What about points that argue AGAINST your idea? Consider laying them out in the open too and addressing them head-on instead of trying to pretend they don’t exist and hoping no-one asks that question.Actually creating the presentation in PowerPoint should be the very last step here. Not the first (and often only) step.Hey - you may even decide not to create a PowerPoint presentation at all. You may decide to put together a one-pager in Word which you hand out as pre-reading and then work with flip-charts which you have rehearsed.Personally, I like to tell stories (who’d have thunk it, eh?). And that’s what I do when I present. I tell stories. I role-play, I use anecdotes to illustrate specific issues. My aim is to make access to complex information as straightforward as possible.Let’s take training company staff to use a new IT system, which is what I do a great deal of (well, it’s my job): I believe that if I am able to make an audience WANT to use that system, then the rest is largely automatic. My training sessions cover the hands-on basics, but I always emphasise why this particular feature is worth getting excited about. I explain what effect a new process will have on their everyday business. I try to show them the big picture, and not just “click here, now click there, now hit okay…” I hate having people walk out of a training session thinking “I know how to use the system now, but I still don’t have a clue as to why I should bother in the first place. So back to your question: The best possible presentation is one which supports you and your individual communicative skill set in such a way that you can get your message across effectively. This may include PPT slides. But it doesn’t have to. We need to re-learn to communicate. Communication isn’t just about creating slides. It’s about getting the message across. And if creating a series of slides with no text but just with photos illustrating what you are talking about, or video clips showing examples which you then analyse by discussing them - go for it.

How do I invite people to Quora?
The best way to invite friends to join Quora is to go to Contacts. You can invite any of your contacts that you might have already imported or you can use the invites module in the upper right hand side to send an invite to a specific email address. If you use the invites module I'd also recommend that you include some suggested topics for the invited user to follow. Here is a screenshot of what the invites module looks like. After you enter the email address of the person you want to follow there will be a link that says "suggest topics to follow". Click that link and it will give you a form to search for topics. As you type the type-ahead will give you suggestions:Then you can hit enter or click on any of the topics and it will add that topic to the invite email you send the user. But before sending I would also write a custom note to the person you're inviting to personalize it a bit. With the personalized message you're more likely to get that person to accept the invite since the email will be more recognizable and authentic. You can see in the below screenshot that I've selected a couple of topics for the person to follow (eg Running, Entrepreneurship, Cycling, Golf) and also written a personal message to them.

How can I use Quora to make money?
I joined Quora in September 2017. Initially I used to write answers only since I was more fascinated with the stats that were displayed on the profile. Slowly I signNowed 500 k views. Took lesser time to signNow 1 million views and it continued. Then I had genuine questions, so I tried asking them on Quora. I received a lot of answers on my questions. Each question, on an average received 4–5 answers. One fine day in December 2018, after 15 months of using Quora and having asked about 20 questions by then, I got a notification that I was invited for the Quora Partner Program. I was aware of what it was and it was excited. I asked two or three questions by the end of the year but hardly got any returns on it. Two friends of mine were already a member of this program and they told me that they could hardly earn 5 cents even after writing for months. That discouraged me and I stopped asking questions. I stuck to writing answers only. This continued till May 2019. Then one day I saw the earning statistics of the members of this program and they were considerably well paid. In fact, the highest earning members make a fortune. So I again resumed asking questions. But this time, quality questions. And my questions started gaining audience. I received my first payment from Quora in the month of June which amounted to 14.84 US dollars. After deductions, I received 995 Indian rupees in my account. I continued writing questions in June and I received my second payment in July. That was about 11.64 US dollars and I got 778 rupees after deductions. This month I have earned 15.53 dollars till now, which amounts to around 1,030 rupees. My total earning statistics: I believe this is quite a bit of side income. However people earn more. GV sir here earns 20 to 30 times more than this monthly! He is also envious of other users who earn more so you can imagine how much the top partners earn!

How do I get an early invite to Google+?
There are still ways to get invitations Google + without ‘actually invited’, ie via email. When you share a post on Google + You must specify the recipient before posting distributed. You can select a particular circle of contacts you have or share the recipient’s email address that you want. By sharing your post via email, the recipient can see what you post on Google + and if they follow the link that says, “Learn more about Google +”, they will be taken to Google + to activate their profile.
