Why do I have an account on Quora if I never signed up?
I’ve noticed that a lot of people have asked this question in various ways and, through research and experience, I’ve found out why.Quora API can find your profile details from your existing accounts like Google, Facebook and/or other places and automatically make you an account on Quora without you ever consenting to it or realizing it.When you finally ‘join’ Quora officially, you log in to an account that was probably made ages before you even actually joined. It is likely that you searched up something on a search engine that associated to Quora somehow and you logged in with one of your social media accounts, generally speaking, Facebook. Many of Quora’s website traffic is from people searching things on the internet and to find answers, looked in Quora. To disconnect social media accounts that have connected, you can go to Your profile picture > Settings from the drop down menu > Account from the side menu > and scroll down to see Connected Accounts. Disconnect all or some as desired and done! Those accounts now have no connection to Quora whatsoever. You can also completely delete your Quora account : Your profile picture > Settings > Privacy > Delete Account.

How do you login your Gmail account without using your phone number?
Q: How do I log in my Gmail without using the phone number verification?A: You can’t.Google requires a phone number to prevent people from making spam accounts they only use to blast unwanted mail around the world. They limit the number of accounts you may associate with a single number. When an account is flagged as a spammer, it gets blacklisted; mail from it isn’t accepted as readily—or at all. The sender must create a new account or demonstrate over time that they are again sending only mail that people want. For a spammer this creates a lot of work. For the rest of us, that’s a good thing.Google makes money off of accounts that people use in the standard way—not accounts used for sending thousands of emails and never reading anything. It’s not so much that Google cares if you’re annoyed by spam, as much as they don’t make money when we stop using their mail system. Either way, their work against spam helps us little people. If you mean log into Gmail without needing a text confirmation, you can disable 2FA in your settings, but you really should keep it on.

How do ad agencies set retainer prices and how does it work? If a client were to sign up with MDC partners or a WPP ad agency, w
The old way of setting retainers was to estimate all the work required over a year, divide it by 12 so that you come up with a monthly fee, and then the client pays you and you do the work. I say "old" because agencies lost their collective shirts on that method, simply because the client dumped increasingly more stuff on the agency's plate. The better way of doing it is to think of it as a minimum monthly fee that includes a certain amount of hours. So each month the client gets a bill with three things on it: next month's minimum monthly fee, an overages for last month, and any out of pocket expenses (that have been approved in advance). In this system, hours do NOT rollover (like cell phone minutes) because time is not a renewable resource. There is only one good reason an agency would want a retainer: to know how much time to set aside. There is only one good reason a client would want a retainer: to have guaranteed access to a set amount of time.Keep in mind that retainers of all types are generally going away, primarily because when a relationship starts to go bad, it goes bad more quickly with a retainer, which become a lightning rod of entitlement. One good use of a retainer is a partial one to cover strategy. This encourages the client to call you up and ask strategic questions (involving you earlier in the process) without you having to search for a place to plug in the time.

How hard would it be to set the ServiceNow platform (the Now Platform without any modules) up yourself? Is it worth the price to
That depends to a large extent on the use to which you intend to put the platform. In its default configuration, ServiceNow is ITIL v3 compliant. Assuming that you have no need to change its default configuration, setup of the platform is pretty straightforward. While ServiceNow is perhaps the most capable ITSM platform available today, experience bears out the fact that nearly every customer eventually needs to reconfigure and/or customize it to meet their particular business needs. If you have the skillset for such work— a good grounding in Javascript, knowledge of common web-based technologies (XML/HTML, CSS, REST, etc.) and an understanding of relational database design— you can probably do most of the work yourself.Oftentimes a ServiceNow customer simply lacks the resources or the will to develop the necessary core compentencies for customizing the platform. That role is filled by vendors and ServiceNow partners. The amazing proliferation of such vendors in recent years is testament to the fact that many companies don’t want (or can’t afford) to develop the platform themselves. However, that doesn’t mean it is particularly difficult to do.

How do I set up a basic “big data” infrastructure to sort & manage a 300-500GB dataset easily, without signNow costs?
As you have said that your input data is scattered across many text files,I would like to mention that Hadoop is awfully slow for small files (less than 64 MB in size). This is because, for most map-reduce jobs, while creating map tasks, Hadoop breaks the file in 64 MB splits/chunks (by default) and each split/chunk is executed in parallel. But a split can not span more than one file. So even if the file is very small, it will create a map task for it. So, if you have too many numbers of very small files, you will end up having too many numbers of map tasks and map task execution overhead will exceed the advantage you get from parallelism. Not only that, too many small files also increase overall file system metadata size which puts pressure on HDFS NameNode and the NameNode becomes slow. There are multiple ways to get around this:As you have text files, you can run a pre-processing job to club them together in larger text files (I would suggest 128 MB or multiple of it. Depending on dfs.blocksize and mapred.min.split.size properties).Create a Hadoop Archive over the small files.Combine the small files into Hadoop SequenceFile. If you have a tar/tar.gz archives of the small files, you can convert a tar into a sequence file using the converter given here: Digital Digressions by Stuart SierraYou can write your map-reduce code such that it is aware of the underlying small files and creates splits that span over multiple files. For example you can use an input format derived from CombineFileInputFormat instead of FileInputFormat and use CombineFileSplit instead of FileSplit. But for this you need to change your map-reduce code.See also: The Small Files Problem

Frequently asked questions
How do i add an electronic signature to a word document?
When a client enters information (such as a password) into the online form on , the information is encrypted so the client cannot see it. An authorized representative for the client, called a "Doe Representative," must enter the information into the "Signature" field to complete the signature.
How do you know an electronic signature is real?
That you have the signature of an actual person that signed it.
And, of course, I do. Because that's the thing about an electronic signature. If you can't prove with something else that you were the actual person who actually signed it or that your physical signature is there, it becomes a fraud. That is, unless you could get a court to sign off on it, where the court would basically rule this electronic signature is a real signature, even if the electronic signature looks real to you. You can't be sure.
It's like the difference between a hologram and a hologram. It doesn't matter who put it there. They don't have to show a real hand to make it work. So, if you sign an electronic signature, if that person can't provide proof that the signature is theirs, it becomes fake. It becomes fraud.
So, in the case of electronic signatures, and there's an entire case that's been pending in the court for about ten years about, what to do about them, the judge actually said there was enough evidence in that case, which is sort of an interesting precedent for a lot of these kinds of cases. If you can show a court that an electronic signature can be faked, you could get a court ruling to allow you to make a copy of that signature and prove that the signature is fake. So that would solve that particular problem. It's not a complete fix by any stretch of the imagination, but it would solve that particular issue. So that would really solve one of the two problems, because then you could us...

Is it possible to use a private/public key pair for signing a document in a .pdf file?
I don't really like using .pdf files. I prefer to use .doc files. Is this also possible?
Thank you
Regards
Ravi
I can use a public/private key if I need to sign a doc file with my personal/business key. I know some PDF documents can use the Public-Private Key for signature
I use the key to sign the .doc file with my email address and -export -keykey and the doc file is sent to my mail. I am sure this is very simple.
I used the same method to transfer files using a web application.
I used a key from my .doc file as the signing key but I also have a key-tool export to a private/public key pair.
Regards
Ravi
You can use a key-tool export to a private/public key pair for .pdf files. This is very simple.
To use key-tool export to a private/public key pair for signing a .pdf file.
1. Select the .pdf file that you want to sign
2. Press tab
3. On the "File" tab select "Export" and then "Choose Export Mode"
4. Select "Public-Private Key Pair".
You do not need a private/private key pair for a .pdf file. Key-tool export allows you to export a key-pair to a set of .txt files that will not be visible on your PC.
