to one huge territory it's number 46 alaska village electric cooperative avic provides electric power to energize 58 rural alaskan communities the cooperative reported its 2019 revenue was up eight percent compared to the previous year to 56 million dollars electrifying numbers for mira kohler and the entire avec team 45 putting the pedal to the metal is number 45 seeking four of lincoln cruising in from fairbanks seconds forward lincoln reported 2019 revenue of nearly 60 million dollars this marks the 35th year that secant's forward lincoln has appeared as a top 49er a remarkable achievement it looks like they're in it for the long haul jason yeah they sure do headed up by president ralph seikins the auto dealership was awarded the power stroke diesel volume and growth top 50 in recognition of achieving national top 50 dealership status for power stroke diesel parts volume and growth 44. swooping into our 44th spot is everest air cargo edwards air alaska with 2019 revenue of 59 million dollars this past year everett sarcargo installed a full motion md 80 flight simulator at its fairbanks training facility making it one of only two operating in the world that means cu-1 reported a 4 revenue increase in 2019 to 69 million dollars the financial institution has appeared as a top 49er nine times since first joining the ranks in 2005. congratulations james wildman and the credit union one team ford that brings us to our 10th top 49er kate fox corporation coming in at number 40 led by ceo chris luctfeld the corporation reported 2019 revenue of nearly 77 million dollars a 12 increase compared to the previous year cape fox corporation representing the clinton natives of the village of saxman added two acquisitions to his commercial group this year and two tasty ones at that the 108 tap house and burger bar and the harbor ale house so the next time you're in catch can be sure to visit 39 and now for a success story that spans from the cook inlet to the north slope this company posted a 27 revenue increase putting it solidly at number 39. utilhoven oilfield systems services joins to 2020 ranks of top 49ers with a 2019 revenue of 77 million dollars utelhoven has been providing industrial commercial and technical services in alaska to the oil field industry for more than 50 years and has appeared as an alaska business top 49er two dozen times we first saw utelhoven in 1997 when it appeared in the rankings at number 45 with 21 million dollars in 1996 revenue i'd say this is a great example of one very triumphant journey great work ceo jim edelhoven and the whole utilhoven team 38 for our next stop let's venture off the waters of the cuscoquim river spawning in at number 38 is the cuscoquim corporation this alaska native village corporation reported 2019 revenue of nearly 79 million dollars a six percent increase compared to the previous year the cusco corporation has been focused on reinvesting profits from its subsidiaries in the lower 48 here at home providing energy cost of living and housing solutions for rural alaska and residents of the middle class aquim region just like salmon swimming upstream those dollars are finding their way back home earlier this year the company announced andrea gusty as his new president and ceo our congratulations to the coast guard corporation number 37 welcome home cruise companies of alaska over the years cruise companies of alaska has targeted opportunities at home and today boasts a 100 percent alaskan workforce cruz specializes in remote projects the more logistically challenging the better for this heavy civil construction and oil field service company and their efforts are paying off with crews reporting a 2019 revenue of 80 million dollars number 36 continuing along our fantastic voyage we come to number 36 on the list this one takes place on four wheels anchorage chrysler dodge center comes zooming in with 2019 revenue of 82 million dollars a six percent revenues of 55 million dollars number 35 if there is one business tenant that has taken on particular significance this year it's safety and our next top 49ers certainly knows a thing or two about the company reported 2019 income of 96 million dollars holding steady from the prior year homer electric is the generation transmission and distribution electric cooperative for the western kenai peninsula the cooperative has approximately thirty two thousand meters on its grid and is adding a battery energy storage system at its sold out of generation plant to increase grid stability electric power and system efficiency homo electric is also under renewable energy and i'm a big fan i see what you did there renewable energy wind turbines big fan very nice 33. here's some more shocking news with this next company we officially crossed the 100 million dollar mark for the first time in the 2020 rankings great work from davis constructors and engineers coming in at number 33 with 2019 gross revenue of 101 million dollars check this out charles over the years davis constructors and engineers has completed more than 2.6 billion dollars in alaskan projects representing more than 7.6 million square feet of construction that's a lot of billions it's billions of aliens it absolutely is congratulations davis constructors and engineers 32. we've promised not to give tmi about this next company tmi isn't what we do we do but cmi construction machinery industrial comes in at number 32 on this year's top 49ers let's see what you did there another one of the uh another one of the dad jokes there that's good we got to put them in where we can led by president and ceo ken drondale cmi posted 102 million dollars in 2019 revenue cmi distributes construction mining and logging heavy equipment throughout alaska featuring brands such as atlas copco hitachi and volvo among many other brands the company employs a 100 alaskan workforce and has appeared on the top 49ers 19 times since the co-op which was established in 1953 and is 100 locally owned and operated number 30 bethel native corporation is number 30 on this year's list with 110.8 million dollars in 2019 revenue led by ceo the colville group of oil field supply companies provides quality service safely reliably and efficiently and recently completed an aviation fuel distribution center on the north slope helping it retain and renew its current market share 27. and now we're pleased to see top 49er regular matanuska electric association return for another year with 2019 revenue of 148 million dollars mea provides electricity through more than 4 000 miles of power lines as the company says its service area extends north past the chaletna river over the mighty matanuska glacier and south to eagle river the company which reaches some 60 000 points of service has appeared as a top 49er a dozen times since its debut in 2007. congratulations mea we're amped to see your current success jason that was electrifying number 26 roaring into the number 26 spot is cho'ga young limited with a huge 57 increase in 2019 revenue to 150 million dollars the dillingham based organization's second year as one of alaska businesses top 49ers and what in the year it was cho hyung's business lines include construction federal contracting services and hospitality as well as commercial and residential real estate region's alaska native corporation moved up three spots to number 25 reporting a 30 revenue increase in 2019 wow and nearly 173 million dollars sidnessock is expanding so much that its subsidiary has acquired a subsidiary bonanza fuel acquired gnome outfitters growing sitnissock's operation and increasing the community's products for subsistence outdoor and recreational activities congratulations number 24 spot with 2019 revenue of 175 million dollars an increase of about 7 percent fnba operates 27 branches in 18 communities statewide with a 100 alaskan workforce speaking of that workforce fba employees have named the bank as best place to work five consecutive years in a row with the alaska business magazine's annual best of alaska business awards an american banker also named fnba as a do six corporation known to his friends as tdx is another alaska native organization making serious top 49er moves with a remarkable revenue increase of 40 percent in 2019 to 195 million dollars tbx is owned and represents the business interests of more than 600 shareholders with a diversified portfolio that includes four service groups including technology government services hospitality and the baron c fisheries the company first appeared among the ranks of the top 49ers in 2017 and the rest is history great work tdx that is td extraordinary 22. and now our compliments to number 22 2020 top 49er chugach electric association reporting 2019 revenue of 213 million dollars a five percent increase compared to the previous year g etch electric first joined the ranks of top 49ers in 2003 and has shined bright on the list ever since at the end of 2019 giuget served more than 84 000 meter locations from anchorage to the northern kenai peninsula and from whittier on prince william sound to tionic on the west side of the cook inlet with ceo lee thybert leading the way chugach electric expects to complete its nearly 1 billion acquisition of mlmp by the end of this month that's a big acquisition yeah number 21. and our journey to the pinnacle of the top 49er triumph continues with number 21 and delta constructors the construction management company reported 2019 revenue of 215 million dollars a 22 percent year-over-year increase helping keep the company solidly in place at number 21 for the second straight year delta constructors first landed on the top 49ers list in 2014 coming in at number 19 on the 2020 top 49ers this year is three bears alaska with 2019 revenue of more than 237 million dollars a 12 increase compared to the prior year led by ceo and president david weiss three bears alaska and its team of some 700 workers operate 14 stores in alaska offering visitors groceries beer wine and spirits general merchandise sporting goods hardware pharmaceutical items sauce to its record-breaking profitability is the pursuit of creative business solutions gold belt which has appeared as a top 49er nearly two dozen times over the years operates in the tourism government contracting facility management i.t consulting transportation security services and construction industries congratulations to mchugh pierre and the entire team at gold belt incorporated 17. and now you've presented me with a perfect segue to introduce number 17 of the ranks a lunic corporation the alaska native organization reported nearly 6 revenue increase in 2019 to 241.7 million dollars headquartered in wainwright ulunic is owned by more than thirteen hundred alaska native shareholders almost half of whom live in the community lunic also uses a diversification strategy specializing in construction logistics and operations security environmental and oil field support services recently it expanded its alaska-based operations to increase capacity for overland transport and reinforce its ability to complete legacy well plugging and abandonment awesome job by president and ceo hugh patkotek and the entire lunac team 16. coming in at number 16 is the one and only value corporation helmed by president and ceo thomas mack value corporation reported 2019 revenue of 258 million dollars 2020 marks the 25th time ali has appeared as an alaska business top 49er the iu corporation has shown its agility over and over throughout the years through its various business lines including government contracting logistics construction telecom engineering and fuel and port services to name just a few recently the corporation acquired stride strategy solutions based in huntsville alabama to further diversify and grow its federal contracting portfolio number 15. here we are at number 15 on our 2020 top 49er quest for success led by president michelle anderson autna incorporated and its team of more than 300 employees reported 2019 income of 261 million dollars otna is owned by more than 2 000 shareholders the majority of whom are athabascan or alaska native descent we are honored to have hosted atna as top 49er more than 20 times since the organization first qualified in 1998. great work otna number 14. and now we have the distinct privilege of announcing another long-time top 49er doyon limited doyon embarked on this ride with us over uh 35 years ago and has not strayed from past one once now that's what i call in it for the long haul in 2019 the alaska native organization reported income of 322 million dollars a four percent increase compared to the prior year the doyon family is home to some 20 000 shareholders primarily living and working in the interior the alaska native organization with president and ceo aaron schutt in the driver's seat is one of the nation's largest private landowners which i did not know to date doyon has received title of more than 11 and a half million acres of the 12 and a half million that was promised through announcing this year's top 49ers there's no doubt about it this is one journey i'm really really proud to be a part of the hard work and dedication that we're seeing here today is just absolutely inspiring 12. and without further ado bearing straights native corporation joins us at spot number 12 on this year with 379 million dollars in 2019 revenue bsnc recently acquired northwest contracting an alaskan based pavement marking and grooving company the purchase provides bsnc with the opportunity to expand into a new market grow the company through sba certification and extend its geographical reach shout out to the team at bsnc on its continued success 11. and that brings us to number eleven in the countdown uk inupiaq corporation uic reported a four percent increase in 2019 revenue to 480 million dollars almost at the half billion dollar mark headquartered in utk uic provides social and economic resources for more than 2 900 an opiate shareholders earlier this year the company acquired a majority interest in seattle-based johansson construction establishing additional business lines and expanding its geographical reach uic is one of alaska's largest companies with more than 3 500 employees and some 45 subsidiaries in industries ranging from high-tech i.t military and logistical support services to commercial civil and industrial construction architecture and engineering to name just a few congratulations to uic president and ceo delbert rexford and the entire uic team i have the privilege of announcing that we've reached the top 10 in the 2020 top 49er rankings charles can you believe we're already here you know every year i'm more and more impressed with issues uh the this the alaska business community okay i'm fumbling my words but we're going to get through it it's because it's so impressive it's a lot of words yeah and it's very impressive you're right so through strategic planning community engagement and the last frontier worth that work ethic top 49ers are doing some truly amazing stuff the alaska business community works together in good times and bad to create something that's truly astounding check this out hey hey siri hey siri who is number 10 in the top 49er the number 10 top 49er is cook inlet region incorporated siri reported 2019 income of 493 million dollars thanks other siri the alaskan-based native organization is focused on managing its diverse portfolio of investments with a goal of protecting and growing its assets on behalf of its more than nine thousand shareholders siri says its financial strength lies in nordic cholesta services nordic chalista is a drilling and work rover company with four rigs and five camps for projects on the north slope chalice of services is currently rehabilitating rig 2 and performing upgrades on his camps for example nordic brought a trailer that allows camp 101 to be moved to new locations and the camps water and sewer systems which used to be external have now been unitized into each camp module for more efficient camp setup and operations congratulations chalista number eight joining our journey to the top is a fognac native corporation with 2019 revenue of 618 million dollars placing the kodiaq based company solidly at number eight among the 2020 top 49ers a fognac represents and serves more than one thousand shareholders who are descendants from the village of afognac it operates an incredibly diverse portfolio of subsidiaries that provide government and commercial services worldwide including leasing facility services timber retail engineering i.t security logistics operations and maintenance and youth services the company made news this year when it acquired brown jug a retail business with an 83 year history and 21 locations statewide the remarkable year in 2019 with revenue of 1.8 billion dollars up about 5 from the previous year and because i think it's fascinating let's take a quick look back to bbnc's freshman year on the top 49ers in 1985 bbnc ranked number 31 with 1984 revenue of 30 million dollars which wouldn't have even made the rankings this year over the years bbnc has built a diversified business portfolio that includes tourism construction industrial services government services and seafood as a leading alaska native corporation bvnc believes in in-region investment and has developed the bristol bay development fund which was created in 2014 and is infusing over five million dollars into the bristol bay economy in businesses that directly benefit their shareholder community congratulations to bristol bay native corporations president and ceo jason matrowkin and the entire team this next 49er has been with us since the very beginning in 1985. they first joined the top 49er family at number 13 posting revenue of 55 million dollars that same revenue today would have had them tied for number 47 on this year's countdown while we don't want to tip our hand too much but this alaska native corporation has grown to amazing heights this top 49er first hit the number one spot in 1995 with a revenue of 466 million dollars where it has held the spot the number one spot for the last 25 years number one and coming in at number one is arctic slope regional corporation with president and ceo rex rock senior at the helm asrc reported 2019 revenue of 3.8 billion dollars that's 3.8 billion dollars a number worth repeating an 11 increase compared to the prior year that follows a 26 revenue increase in 2018 and a 14 year percent increase the year before asrc operates six primary business segments petroleum refining and marketing energy support services construction government services industrial services and natural resource development with a worldwide team more than 15 000 employees the alaska native organization is owned by and represents the business interests of its approximately thirteen thousand inupiat shareholders in the north slope region just a few months ago a team from asrc federal played an integral part in the launching of nasa's historic spacex demo 2 mission did you know that jason i didn't no not until i read it in alaska business on the website as a matter of fact this was the first launch of astronauts from an american rocket on american soil since the last spatial shuttle mission in 2011. and talk about flying high though that is just an absolutely impressive
