used those proceeds to start my own business working with emerging brands and bringing new products and innovation to market and now david sees the opportunity in a never dying eternal business the competition the valuations first i want to touch on like the company's products and what they are and what they do because i think this is extremely important in understanding where this market opportunity lies by understanding what this company's products are and what they do so it's medicinal mushrooms adaptogen so it's not your psilocybin or any of these you know hallucinogens this is important because with the psilocybin and like the mj markets you have a lot of like legalities and regulations that you have to follow but with these mushroom adaptogens they're basically viewed as just like food ingredients so they're completely legal pretty much everywhere you can ship anywhere there's no downside to this the market opportunity uh is is infinite it's pretty much every no huge conglomerate businesses so there's really no no company that owns or controls the market share to where they can you know price gouge jack prices up tank the prices so they can eliminate competition there's none of that this is such a big and booming market it's 50 billion estimated just for functional mushrooms which is the rishi lion's mane and chaga this is solely what they are focused on right now at ritual and since there's no dominant player in this industry that's continuing to grow year in and year out first of all there's opportunity for consolidation mergers buyouts those are always shareholder friendly second of all this company has a legitimate shot along with all the other companies that are in the space of becoming the brand recognized market leader right you see the branding it's off the charts it's off the wall amazing and let me show you what my favorite part about this company is one of my favorite things about ritual in the stock is that they're going public in a chaotic environment retail investors actually have an opportunity to get in at the ground floor and not have to pay these absurd premiums to the banks which is what we have to usually do for the traditional ipo process but ritual is going public first on the canadian securities exchange csc under the ticker symbol rsf slick clean and as far as shares in the us go it's only a matter of time until ritual begins trading over the counter before we get the nasdaq uplifting once we hit the requirements so what i'm fired up about just based on past performance is we've seen companies like tat else nutrition come out of canada uh on the csc and then they trade over the counter on the over the counter markets and their stocks go from 30 cents to like three bucks in about three months i don't know what it is about these canadian stocks i don't know what it is like about the the ipo process but that's what i have seen many times that they literally just 10x and i've never seen one at the bottom in a business that i actually like we know tat beyond tobacco cigarettes we all like that else nutrition plant-based baby food now we have ritual superfood mushroom adaptogens same situation i like it i personally see the 10x opportunity here but let's keep going and to look at the details of this process ritual will issue 17.3 million units at a price of 30 cents per unit for gross proceeds of 5.2 million or 6 million if the over allowment option is exercised in full ritual superfoods will have 59.9 million common shares outstanding with effective valuation of approximately 18 million dollars based on the offering price 18 million dollars for a company in a colossal industry that's continuously growing that actually has products available today that they are selling are you kidding me the key to investing is finding those high risk reward ratios those asymmetrical bets and if we're talking about a company that's going to be worth less than 20 million dollars penetrating a multi-deca billion dollar industry continuously growing with no clear dominant player in the market with a ceo who's got over 30 34 years of experience in consumer packaging good industry from procter and gamble crossmark celsius holdings along with a huge focus to ecommerce in digital marketing i mean the asymmetrical bet doesn't get any better than this the risk versus reward is here i mean this is this is what you're looking for let's say this company gets to a point where they're doing 100 million dollars in sales 100 million in sales okay uh a 10 pe let's say they're a billion dollar company from 20 million dollars right now that's 50x return on your money just for this company to be a billion dollar valuation there are no companies in this super food space the functional mushrooms specifically that are a billion dollars or even close for example layered superfood just went public on the new york stock exchange and has a 330 million dollar market cap okay 330 million dollar market cap that's over 16 times bigger than a ritual is right now not only that but this is on only 13 million dollars of 2019 sales layer superfood a company specializing in practically the same industry has been giving a price sales ratio of 25. the way i see things is everyone's already looking at the high-flying sectors you know you're mj your evs are charging especially you know you're plant-based foods you're beyond me very good food company but nobody's looking at the subsidiaries of that or the small caps or the niche businesses in the niche markets beyond meat's not targeting this very good food company's not targeting this nobody is targeting this yet it is a huge opportunity it's not as big as plant-based meats obviously but it's still massive and especially compared to the evaluations in the market caps of these companies and the potential sales that they can be doing it's unbelievable this is an industry over the next few years that i can see accelerating media attention not garnering a huge amount this year next year there's not probably not going to be that much media attention however i think the businesses are going to speak for themselves the revenue numbers that these companies are going to put up is going to be ridiculous and that is going to bring much investors and money into this market to where people are not only investing in the products they're learning about the products and the products are hitting the shelves and once we see the network effects really take off with these medicinal mushrooms and with these functional foods i mean i know personally i like them my roommates that see me take it every day ask if they're good or not i think one of my roommates is already on them and he likes them as well so the whole network effect will take take effect and and this i guess the way i'm trying to say is we're at the absolute basement of this industry in this market and there's nowhere to go but up in my personal opinion there's also a very strong just arbitrage opportunity based on the exchanges i mean we're talking about um layered superfood just because they're trading on the new york stock exchange they're trading at a price sales of 25. i mean we see when companies go uh from the canadian securities exchange to over-the-counter in the us and then they uplift from the us we see huge massive lifts in the stock price especially when you're talking about a stock at 30 cents and you know 18 million dollar market cap how hard is that going to be for that stock to 10x and go to three dollars and be 180 million dollar market cap i mean that is penis that's still nothing and i think that that is something that you know we can very much look forward to happening over the next few months it makes a very compelling risk versus reward opportunity i'm already talking about that the company is a great looking website extremely simple beautiful aesthetically appealing for their uh direct to consumer business i mean this is going to be huge e-commerce is the name of the game you know how i feel about this they want to keep us locked out we're not going to be out and about as soon as people think and it's not going to be the way people think online businesses are going to be key they have the lowest overhead there's the biggest opportunity there and the profit margins all these products are are monumental i mean they're they're so big and that's what's key about an industry or i guess a company like this when you're driving a strong stock price not only do you need growing revenues and growing sales but if you can drive profitability and instead of looking at a price sales ratio you can start looking at a price earnings ratio that's where things start to get very hectic and that's where you can see stocks really start to multiply in value based on the multiple that they're trading in relative to their profits so huge profit margins products are also designed to be a part of people's everyday rituals i mean this is not something you take once every few days you know when you're feeling like you take this every single day and that's when you start to actually get the positive benefits of effects of these functional mushrooms and adaptogens i mean the more you take it the more you actually start to feel better subconsciously or consciously you might not notice it immediately but whenever like i was saying whenever you look back at your work or what you've been doing over the past month or so you're like wow i feel like i've been a lot more productive you don't feel in the moment but in the big picture you definitely can see a difference in your life um and so you you're building customers that are gonna take your products every single day you're basically just creating recurring revenue streams along with establishing the network effect um so i mean the business model i
bsolutely love it i personally like the products i mean i'm not going to say that you're going to love the product so you're going to feel good you're not going to feel the effects immediately you're not it's going to take time and even then you might not feel the effects but when you look at what you've been doing you'll notice your productivity is increasing not only is ritual going to be selling directly to the consumer from their e-commerce website but they are also launching their own store on the world's largest marketplace point b right now is our as our relationship is developing rapidly with amazon we'll have our own company store being on amazon is absolutely huge especially being a first mover i mean if they can get on amazon and they can garner a ton of you know five-star reviews they can garner a ton of orders so that they hit the top of these search results when you start when you look up like functional mushrooms or you look up reishi you look up lines i mean like when you go to amazon now this market's so like discombobulated disjointed and it's so confusing it's all you know a bunch of different products different brands you don't understand but if you can get a company such as ritual out in front of people and and you can build i guess that that product awareness that brand awareness the brand loyalty and the brand's strength that's what's going to drive businesses so not only they're going to have their own website with their own e-commerce store they're going to be on amazon which is honestly the the facebook the instagram the twitter the snapchat of shopping of global business in general starting an e-commerce business with great profit margins but not going on amazon is like building a car without an engine like yes you can get it to work i mean you can attach horses to it you can push it but at the end of the day i mean that's going to be the driving factor in success get it not only is there a huge focus on e-commerce which i think is the most important but this company is also looking to penetrate the retail market which can help you grow exponentially faster raise that brand awareness create that big that the nice shelf space and you know continue to suck those juicy margins up for their rollout in the united states ritual has been targeting national wellness retailers that are increasingly adding more and more new wellness brands to their shelf space and i am confident that it won't be too difficult for this management team with all the tools and resources that they have to land some of these brands and some of these new retail outlet and increase their footprint in the united states and not only that but they are also looking to expand in canada and we could potentially be seeing them in some of the most common health and wellness locations and retailers around and that is the other thing is i am so caught in thinking of these companies just focusing on the us market or thinking as you know us is the only uh business or industry i do the same thing with bitcoin i forget this is a global economy so whenever we get ritual superfoods a 20 million dollar company selling their products not just in the united states but in canada and then we move over to overseas europe asia australia all these different condos as we can continue to ramp up and build production raise awareness i mean the the mine can wander and one can only imagine the type of numbers that ritual could be putting up if they're penetrating not just the united states market but i mean we're talking north america as a whole south america the the entire global economy and it doesn't even matter if they get a big market share or not this company can get a tenth of a percentage market share and still grow 10 times from where they are right now this company gets a whole percent the numbers will get too crazy so if we look at their financial projections 2021 revenue 8.4 million growing to 16.7 million and then 25 million in 2023 gross margin expected to sit around that 40 mark which is huge people think that just revenue is all that matters and revenue growth yeah that's true for a lot of huge growth stocks profitability is what matters at the end of the day that's where you see value in companies and they're expected to be even positive in 2022. just to understand the value a little bit better i want to run the numbers of this 25 price sales on these revenue projections so let's say 8.4 million trading at a price sales of 25 let's just round down to 8 million that's 200 million dollars that this company will be trading at that is a 10x from the current 20 million ipo price okay a 10x gain based on the same multiple that their competition is trading at for this company only doing eight million dollars in revenue that's how you get the stock price to go from 30 cents to three dollars now let's look at 16.7 million dollars in revenue let's just say uh 17 million let's put a 25 multiple on that that's 425 million dollars in market cap so with 25 multiple on 17 million dollars of revenue it's gonna be 425 million divided by the 20 million ipo they're at right now i mean that's a 21x from here that's where you get that stocks to go from 30 cents to six dollars and then let's go from that 2023 projection of 25 we'll do another 25 x off of that that puts the market cap at about you know 625 million or in other words a 31x gain so again 30 cents to nine dollars this is where things can get crazy and then we start talking about a nasdaq up listing we start seeing more visibility more institutional investors can pile on board more money flows into the company it's easier to raise capital it's easier to grow and finance the business and then you can further increase these revenue numbers you can further increase profitability and then this is where you know you can really speculate years down the road where this company actually can be and not a high flying or flashy industry that's what i love so much about the stock is that it's it's in an industry that nobody is really looking at right now and those are my favorite industries space nobody really looking at some people are not really bitcoin mining stocks that is my other huge one that is that is the biggest industry that i've put my name behind and endorsed is bitcoin mining and now we've got functional mushrooms which i personally believe is going to be not the next big thing it's not going to be a huge flashy you know eye-opening take over the world type of industry but what it will do is it will provide steady and constant growth for years down the road and make a lot of companies and a lot of businesses super successful extremely profitable and a lot of investors rich especially when we have a driven ceo with decades of industry experience focusing on an emerging market of a product that actually helps people's day-to-day lives improves productivity has a seemingly infinite addressable market no legal barriers wicked profit margins and you're giving it to me for a market cap of under 20 million dollars the risk reward in this company this stock is extremely skewed to the upside which is exactly
