what's going on guys it's jamal from lifeforbusiness.com today in this video i'll be discussing how to build business credit and how to establish a net 30 account with best buy if you like the content make sure you like this video and subscribe to the youtube channel also remember one thing retirement is a number not an age it's just a number it is not an age the best buy business advantage card is probably the most difficult guard i ever had to obtain i mean i was denied three times for this card but i was finally finally successfully approved in this video i will give a brief overview of what i did to get this account also i will show you guys how i actually get a few tax benefits from purchasing items from best buy now to actually apply for this card first you're gonna have to go to the top right corner and select for your business okay now once you select for your business you're going to be taken to a screen now during this screen you're going to go all the way towards the bottom and you're going to look at net payment terms that is where you're going to be able to see the best buy business advantage card okay now you're going to select learn more about this card and it's going to take you to this screen here is where you'll actually be able to apply for this card [Music] now once you get to the application page it's going to actually basic information your first name your last name your job title but it's also going to ask you the credit line range that you're looking for you pick less than 15 grand or greater than 15 grand if you select less than 15 grand it's most likely they will improve you for this card okay that's my personal opinion though that is not fact okay now the second part of this application they're going to ask you for your business legal name your legal physical address for your business as well as the industry type for your business also if you have any documentations that you would like to upload that they can further speed up the process of you actually getting approved for this account or not [Music] now as far as uploading documents i mean you could just upload your w9 you should probably have that in a folder somewhere around your office but it's a very simple easy process now the next part of the application is basically going to ask you who's responsible for paying for the invoices okay and how do you contact them the easiest way to do this is just to make sure that you're the person that they contact your business cell phone number and your business email address give them your business email address guys okay it makes the process a lot smoother now in the last part of this application you're basically just signing as the authorized signer it's gonna have the date your first your last name and your job title and that's the end of the application guys one of the new rules that i created for myself if i can't write it off in my taxes i don't want it okay the majority of the items that you see here that i purchased from best buy are actually tax write-offs now i had to do a few interesting things to make sure they were business expenses but these were all tax write-offs this computer you see these both headphones that you see right here that was a tax write-off because i needed to actually do these videos on youtube okay for the playback the sims even the samsung tv that was actually a tax write-off too all of these items were actually tax write-offs especially this microsoft computer surface book 2 that's protected and it has a protection plan and that protection plan that i pay yearly guess what i'm able to write that off as well when you apply for this card keep in mind this is not really an account for a brand new business you want to make sure that your business has some accounts reporting on your paydex score as well as your equifax business and your experian business all right do not just create a business and apply for this card you're going to be denied immediately also make sure you have a few years under your belt before you apply for this card as well thank you guys for actually watching this video all the way towards the end make sure you subscribe to the youtube channel guys okay definitely subscribe for more content like this make sure you like this video also do me one quick favor go to the created playlist and check out our building business credit playlist okay that's where we're going to be putting all of our business credit videos remember guys nobody determines your retirement except for you because retirement is a number not an age you really gonna let a job tell you when it's time for you to retire come on man wake up retirement is a number not an age i'm out you
