foreign hi I'm Tina for those of you new to my channel for those of you who have been with me for a while thank you for coming back today I'm going to show you in canva how you can upload and annotate your invoice for Amazon for any reason you may need to annotate an invoice some different reasons for annotating your invoice is to get permission to sell a product on Amazon and they want to see that you have a proper invoice from a reputable supplier a wholesale account and you need to annotate that to get product approval other times you might need to annotate an invoice is if you had an inauthentic complaint on Amazon and you're needing to submit proof that you did by your item from a reputable supplier now you can either scan your invoice to your computer so you can upload it into canva or you maybe have an email invoice that you can download that document into your computer and upload it in to canva I had canva for a long time before I realized I could do this and I had finally figured out how to get my invoices into canva and be able to annotate them there so I'm showing you a screenshot here I uploaded this image into canva these are the typical things that Amazon request on your invoice they want to see the proper date now I took this screenshot the other day so this was for a product to get approval to sell a brand on Amazon so they want my invoice dated on or after August 11 2022 these dates will change of course depending at what time you are requesting a brand but you will want to make sure that your invoice is dated ing to Amazon what they're asking they want to see your name and address matching the information in your selling account so you're not going to want to use somebody else's receipt or somebody else's invoice because those names are not going to match another thing is you're going to have to provide the name and address of the manufacturer or distributor so that should be clear on your invoice that you're going to annotate you're going to want to show a combined purchase unit of 10 units in the case of getting brand approval if it's just for proving product authenticity then it's going to be however many units that you bought you can always omit your pricing information on an invoice I don't but you can and we'll go over that and then this last option here I can tell you a little bit about this so it says please note that we may verify your submitted documentation by contacting the product vendors you identify in your application I was speaking to one of my wholesale providers about Amazon actually contacting them on an invoice and they said yes that they have in fact had Amazon call them to verify that a person on an invoice if they had in fact purchased from them so it doesn't happen every single time but on occasion Amazon will actually call that provider so be careful of doing Shady things when annotating invoices now this particular wholesale supplier of mine I needed help from them because their invoice didn't have a UPC code on it and I was asking them hey can you help me out and send me a better invoice because I'm trying to qualify for this brand I just bought from you and they were willing to do all of that for me so it wasn't like my original invoice so I you know I just was having a conversation and getting them to work with me okay so moving on to the invoice now I have an image up above here this is a invoice just a made up looking invoice for us to play with but first let me tell you how do you get it here because this is going to be the most important part and what you do when you are in your canva account is you are going to go over here to uploads once you are opening up you know um I'm on the print letterhead option of working in canva but what you're going to do is you are going to go to upload and then you will choose upload files and then from here you will upload a file from your computer well what I couldn't figure out for the longest is once I would do this upload a file it wouldn't populate here and I didn't know where did it go it certainly isn't a video or an audio and over here where projects is it would show like this bubble as if something was uploading well that's where it goes so even though you're here on uploads anything else you upload in canva for those of you that use canva you know that it always will populate here in one of these boxes these are my recent uploads so you will go over here to projects and then voila here is some of my invoices and then what you will do is you will click on the invoice and that's this one right here that we're working on and it will populate it here into our blank area Okay so working on this invoice you will see most invoices are going to have like an order number in this area that's not what Amazon is asking for though but they want to see that who it is billed to and they want to know who it is from so what I will do is I will go over here to elements and these are recently used but let's say you know you need to do a box I might type in here box and we're going to get here these different Graphics I like ones that are like this just a nice big square and I'm going to click on that and it's going to populate it here to my invoice I can drag this box over my supplier and you don't have to have the line as thick as this it can be a much thinner lined box and you can change the color of this box especially if I'm wanting it to stand out I might choose a color like red is kind of behind my face here so I'm just going to pick orange since my video is covering the red and then I might want to duplicate this box to do the bill too and so I will just click on this box I will click the plus sign that duplicates it and then I can drag it over here to my bill to and then they want to see the date falls into that date range that they're asking about I can take this box again and duplicate it yet again drag it over the February when you want to shrink it down you're going to hover over this circle here in the corner once your arrow has two points you can just use your computer mouse to drag it down even smaller so we're just framing the date maybe on our invoice the item that we're trying to get approved for is this coffee here what I will do is I will open up text over here so we're going to click on text I will do like add a subheading it's going to pop in this box here I might then put in Asin B we're going to make up an Ace and zero zero nine eight seven y we're going to say that that's Ace and I'm going to drag it down to make it smaller and then what we can do is then we can drag this over with our Mouse next to here and then I'll I'm double clicking to highlight everything because I want to change the color to Red so I go over this text color oh I still can't pick red because my face is hiding it so we're going to just stick with orange for the video I generally use red when I'm annotating for Amazon and then that way Amazon sees that we have the Ace in for our item here and then I'm going to go over here back over here to elements and I'm going to type in circle and I'm going to pick a plain Circle here I'm going to drag it down and shrink it really really little and I'm going to circle my number 10 so I can make it obvious that I purchased 10. of these units I will also Circle or put a box around that I paid for this so I'm going to go back up here duplicate this box we're going to drag it down and I'm going to show that I paid for it now important is that if you have a Visa on file with Amazon MasterCard whatever card it is that you have on file with Amazon for your shopping account or if this is tied to your business checking account this number you want it to match that that is on file with Amazon or at least on file with your business checking account okay and we're going to search that Amazon most importantly wants to see that your invoice has in fact been paid a lot of times right here where it says subtotal on an invoice that might say paid Amazon needs to see that this invoice has been paid now additionally to putting these boxes if you feel like you want to you can put an arrow to whatever it is you're trying to point out to them while this seems like this should be so obvious to Amazon like they should be able to read that this is who is billed to this is who it was from this was the date oftentimes it's like you're dealing with a little child so you want to address these as if you were dealing with a child and you want to make it as easy enough for like an elementary school child to be able to understand this I don't know why I'm not getting an arrow as one of my options all right so here goes an arrow if we wanted to point at something we can add an arrow to this we can shrink down our arrow in the same way we did the boxes you can point at from so you can annotate your invoice in this manner for Amazon when you are ready to download your invoice you're going to click the share button you're going to choose download and then you are going to want to change PNG to be a PDF okay and then you're going to download this PDF file when you go back to your Amazon account and you're on the page where you need to upload your file if this is for the purpose of getting ungated you will click select file here and then you will upload that PDF and that is one of the file types that they take as a PDF in this case I always recommend uploading it as a PDF to Amazon if it is in fighting a case when you reply on your case there is always an attach file option you will attach this file now Amazon May spit back a denial based off of any various reason that should then be pretty simple to address as well whatever it is that they are asking you for sometimes they're going to want a link to the manufacturer's website it's usually very very simple things and uh if it's something that you have already provided to them you can reply back that I did provide this to you you will see it in the top left corner I have now added an arrow pointing at this information you can also download from your bank account the corresponding charge for this very same receipt so you can offer additional proof that matches the invoice that you uploaded to Amazon showing the same date that you paid with your checking account and that you paid you know 82 dollars for
