welcome in this tutorial we'll cover how to create and manage invoices in clockify [Music] first you need to enable invoicing in workspace settings you can enter your company address here your company name up here and you can upload company logo here and all this will appear on all your invoices click invoices to see all your existing invoices and their id client due date amount and status to create a new invoice click here you first need to select the client for the invoice you can also change invoice currency name and choose some other issue and due date now create the invoice to see how it looks like [Music] if your client is missing an address you can add it directly here to edit client address you can always go to the clients page and edit it here you can enter invoice subject here and it will appear at the top of the invoice and here at the bottom you can enter a note which will appear at the end of the invoice let's now populate the invoice with items you wish to bill you can click add new item and enter what you wish to invoice its quantity and price and the price will be calculated automatically another way to populate your invoice is to import your tracked billable time click import time choose which projects you wish to invoice or just select them all him and choose the period for example last month means only billable uninvoiced time entries from last month will be imported [Music] next choose how you wish hours to be displayed you can group hours by project or by task or combine everything into a single item or display each time entry as a separate item in which case you can decide which information you wish to display and finally you can round imported time when enabled each time entry will be rounded based on your workspace settings let's now finish the import all your track time has now been imported into the invoice and all the imported time entries have been marked as invoiced automatically so you don't invoice something twice by accident you can edit the description of each imported line item as well as change quantity or price but don't worry this won't affect the time entries themselves you can also delete items in case they were made from imported time entries those time entries will be marked as uninvoiced when you delete their row in case you deleted the whole invoice all its time entries will be marked as uninvoiced to finish off the invoice you can apply tax or discount click add enter number and a percent of the subtotal will be added or subtracted from the invoice when you're happy with your invoice you can click download at the top and send the pdf to your client once you've sent the invoice you can mark it as send in the action menu and later mark it as paid so it can no longer be edited if you wish to cancel the invoice mark it as void for archival purposes [Music] in the overview page you can see what to do and filter out your paid invoices so they don't clutter the view let's now cover how to use check invoice status of your track time to see if you have some uninvoiced billable hours open the summary report and filter it by uninvoice status and the amount will show you if there's something he forgot to invoice detailed report will show you the status of individual time entries all the invoice entries will have the invoice tag and on hover you can see their related invoice id if you wish to manually mark entries as invoice so they don't get imported into future invoices you can select entries in bulk and click mark as invoiced at the top to mark them back as uninvoiced select only non-invoiced items and click mark as uninvoiced this concludes our invoicing tutorial thank you for watching and be sure to check out our other tutorials as well as like share and subscribe [Music] you
