hey you guys most of you all know that my first real business as I like to call it was being an independent Courier and I tell you guys all the time that is by far my favorite business not only because it was my first business uh but that is part of it to be honest with you but it also gave me the disposable income to be able to pay all of my bills and still have some money left over so that way I can invest in other assets which eventually led to the businesses that I do today so if it wasn't for being an independent Courier uh there would be no followers on the internet there will be no real estate investment company all of that stemmed from the money that I made as an independent Courier so from time to time we gotta talk about this business now far too many people say that there's no money left in the industry JT you did this years ago and now can't nobody make no money no more so I'm gonna sprinkle this in on you I'm gonna share with you all some independent careers that are still coming in today because like I said I believe that this is adult business it's my favorite business that doesn't mean that you'll make the most money in the world but it also doesn't mean that benefit of everybody right so I'm using the term independent Courier Loosely as you guys could tell the top of that paperwork said Hot Shot um to oversimplify it for anybody that may be unfamiliar with this or just the new people independent couriers pretty much have a dedicated route that know where they're going to go when they're going to go how much money they're going to make um hot shot or on-demand drivers they go to different places all the time on demand or hot shot drivers typically make more money than independent couriers but independent couriers like the stability of it they know they'll be home every night they know exactly when they're going to go somewhere and where they're going to go and for me it was easier for me to be able to hire and skill people by having that predictability so we were a trifecta we did some hot shot and but we did mostly independent Courier runs and we also did some small commercial moving as well because like you guys can see in a sprinter van you could fit like office furniture so usually they just have what a table some chairs maybe a dance or two nothing crazy even if it's a TV we can wrap that up with a moving blanket um different from if you move somebody's home they might have three bedrooms two baths living room set all of that and now um I always kept it small never had anything bigger than a sprinter van or a 10 foot box truck this business in a nutshell is just picking up Freight from point A officially delivering it to point B you get paid as an independent truck driver most of you already know this already because you guys been watching my channel for years but some of you all are brand new so now everybody's on the same page I just pulled up to the warehouse here all right [Music] 680 miles 730 dollars hold on one second I don't know if you guys can actually see it as good as I can see it so we're gonna do this live we're gonna in Real Time Boom We're Not Gonna edit none of this out either we're just gonna keep it a buck with you uh if you have a load to get you to a better paid area take it that is what this note says in the bottom that I'm covering up so this was Monday he went from Texas to Iowa 680 miles for 730 dollars um you guys let me know what you have taken this load right that's good money to me but Texas to Iowa 680 miles for 730 dollars and with the tip that he gave we're assuming that he's gonna run into a big play once he gets out there uh to the Iowa area as well I never went that far but um you guys let me know Texas to Iowa we can get this a little bit better boom Texas to Iowa 680 miles 730 of shoot I'm with it but I know everybody is different so um you guys let me know um and it does depend on if your vehicle is a gas vehicle or a diesel vehicle um as well I assume this is a gas vehicle but I may be wrong right um all the sprinters I ever had was a gas right so I'm not saying that his is a gas or a diesel just like that we got all our three pallets okay and our mattress back there a lot of you guys asked what I used to secure my Freight my van came with these uh d-rings so I just hook it on to that and strap it around straps are a must hey this is a gas 269. it's all dirty but we're rinsing it out here in the rain what's the price of gas where you guys are right now I mean I'm in the Southeast so sometimes we're a little bit cheaper but not always it's 269 high low average um compared to where I am I think I think it's a little high but granted he's not in the southeast got a little wind in the mic made in the Iowa let's go are they closed all right so we made it to the drop off on time okay terrible weather here in Iowa today I'm glad he don't have to load and unload this race sometimes you have to do that especially as independent Courier but um be able to load this heavy is nowhere two thousand dollars Iowa to Ohio oh Tuesday at 8 A.M Iowa to Ohio 740 miles two thousand dollars right um add this mouse with the other miles that he said he did earlier um because he started on Monday now we on Tuesday two dollars and seventy cents a mile that's great for me y'all let me know what y'all think but that sounds amazing to me okay 329 come on I noticed my bug shield for the front hood here has ripped off I'ma be honest I would have leave it just like that like like I wouldn't even spend 100. I'm just like that you're at our drop off now headed to the shipping and receiving so the rest of the day y'all got the van serviced and Etc that's how you do it good what's that twenty seven hundred dollars in two days [Music] and y'all still saying that this is a bad industry and ain't no money in it twenty seven hundred dollars in two days as a hot shot of eight I like this content creator right so in case you missed it after watching this video go subscribe to the Channel watch all their content right this video it this video ain't even instructional it's just to prove that haters wrong and show you guys that it's real money in this right so we we gonna do that let's teach him more document document the process nice and with that we get about 420. all right so we're back at the same location we were at yesterday okay pulling out of Ohio I'm thinking of putting the power on the side door just because it'll keep the weight distribution much better out here so let's get loaded that's professional talk Thursday 9 A.M Ohio to Texas 1150 miles for 2500 um you somebody somebody down in the comment section keep the totals for us um at the end of this video let us know and I mean he might even do it but just in case all right somebody that's watching this video uh keep up with the total mileage and the total money um that he made um and I'll pin that comment down below and uh you guys but you guys let me know right um I know a lot of you all are in transportation and trucking but you might be a dispatcher you might be a broker you might be a driver you might be a fleet owner uh and the list goes on and on you might be a mechanic for all I know um but I was more of on the independent Courier hot shot in uh commercial Furniture move inside and these numbers look amazing to me but I've also been out of the game for a few years you guys let me know but twenty twenty five hundred dollars this is just after you know Monday Tuesday was like twenty seven hundred now we about to catch another play for 2500. y'all know I got a South Carolina education but I could say rough math 5200 in a week you know I mean and if you like to drive if you're a driver if you in this profession right to me that's that's a no-brainer right of course somebody watching this video that doesn't like to drive it don't matter if it was a million dollars you would have said it was a terrible deal but if you win Trucking if you're a driver tell me you're not gonna take these plays and why that's what I need to know [Music] all right currently in Kentucky prices here are not too bad they still 269 I think that's what he paid a couple more hours I think rough math is fifty two hundred dollars in Dallas if I'm not if I'm not mistaken for the week Dallas drop off oh yeah he got a huge Window 8 A.M two in the afternoon it's getting cold Arkansas or Kansas [Music] Brad they eating good traveling making money like a good life to me and then Friday he gonna make another 16 honey 6800 for the week right I'ma just say six thousand dollars just to be conservative [Music] what you got [Music] a six thousand dollar week as an independent Courier as an independent driver well as an expediter right so there is a difference but I don't want to confuse anybody Expediting hot shot and independent career being a CDL truck driver like having a bread route all of that is different stuff but for the purposes of this video you're making money driving a vehicle I don't know what instrumentals you use I hope this don't get the video copyrighted but I just want to share this with y'all because it's a fire video okay let's go front camera 4K rear camera 1080. Windows 10 is so slightly darker than Frank cam okay that's fine [Music] I never had one of those but I'm definitely not against that either sort of work van looked like right there oh we don't went nice with the floor I ain't never had floors that nice in none of my vehicles man I'm not gonna lie to you it's definitely definitely nice looking it is easier for the freight to slide in and out if you do have that wood in there though I will say that let me I'm gonna cut them down just a little bit so I want to bust nobody eardrum just listening to this with headphones so for anybody that doesn't know like having that wood down there does make it easier to slide Freight in and out um I just never had like shoot that them floors look nice enough to be in somebody's crib like yeah oh you're gonna paint it too those e-tracks are gonna help when it's time to strap stuff down too I respect people um that reinvest back into their business it's a must it's a necessity especially if you plan on having longevity in any business so a salute to you right granted I don't know this person personally this reaction video was sent to me and um I was like sure we'll watch it live especially because there's a lot of haters uh and those links they're talking about will be linked underneath their video so click that first link and go check out their video that's what they're referring to um but since there are a lot of haters out there that say that it ain't no money in it and and being an independent Courier in Expediting in this business I hope you're happy right understand this if you're looking for a reason not to do something you'll always find a reason not to do it right is it going to be adversity are these opportunities available in every single little town in the world no right but are there enough opportunities in enough areas that anybody that's serious can make a full-time income yes right I ran my business yes I started off in the Baltimore Maryland area but then I relocated to a little country town in North Carolina and still rebuilt my business to six figures right so you can have excuses and say there's nothing near me but if you want to do the business go to where the good Freight is go make your money you can live at home you don't necessarily have to make all your money at home right if you're somebody that's dead sit on I have to make my money locally for whatever reason maybe you have a family maybe you have whatever it is and there's no opportunities in your area that's fine right maybe you have to find something else to do but if you're serious about this business go to where the opportunities are right I had a commute every morning when I was in the Maryland area I lived in an area called Essex Maryland I commuted to Curtis Bay Maryland it's not too far away but it was a commute had to pay a toll to go there and to come back out right and then I had to go and deliver Freight in Northern Virginia Delaware the Maryland area the DC area the you know wherever it was right we went as far as West Virginia some uh some days several times a week right we did that because that's where the money was there's money in this industry right if you want to know more subscribe to that content creator let them know JT sent you until next time so I'm Hustler stay hustling JT automations yup I'm going
