[Music] you can easily process your Freight bills in truck win in three easy steps the first thing you'll do is you'll go into unposted bill list and this is going to show all the trips that you have completed from dispatch or entered directly into freight billing that have not been billed yet so these have not been posted as you can see on the screen you can easily see the invoice number trip number your dates your revenue if you see for example these ones with the zero clearly those need to be updated and have revenue added to them what you can do is you can either double click or highlight it and hit update and you can make any changes that you want to this screen here before actually printing your Freight bill if you know the bill of lading and need to enter it in all of this information can all be entered in you can go to the revenue button and add new record yes this is where you would choose what you want to bill your customer and I would hit save and exit at this point I could either do save and exit to go back to the screen or if I wanted to print this individual bill I could hit the button that says print this bill and it would go ahead and print that for me I'm gonna hit save and exit and show you how to print a group of bills once you've made all the corrections that you need to you would want to print your Freight bills you're gonna see a button on the bottom that says view print bills that's going to bring up a screen that shows us everything available for printing you have an option print only one bill print more than one bill print all in the list for this example we're just going to do in one bill so I'll highlight the one I just updated then I would come down to prepare bill it's going to show me a screenshot of what that freight bill is gonna look like I'll scroll through that quick here then you would either hit print one invoice to send it to your printer or create PDF to create a PDF of that invoice I'm going to go ahead and just print it okay once you've printed your Freight bills the final step is going to be to post those freight bills that's the saving step so once you post your Freight bills that's when it's going to post into your general ledger to your revenue account it's gonna go to accounts receivable to collect payment and it's also going to go to payroll for company drivers or revenue settlements for owner operators to pay the driver for this load so it's a very important step so I'm going to hit post bills and you'll notice it looks similar to this the printing screen again you have your post only one Ville post more than one post on the list I'm going to go ahead and do the post only one bill I'm going to choose the one that we just printed and I'm gonna hit the button that says prepare posting it's going to show me the entry it makes into the general ledger which this would be into accounts receivable and my revenue account and I'll do post one invoice data was posted successfully and that is all it takes to print and post your Freight bills
