What is a digital certificate and how do I view one?
In SignNow, digital certificate is a means of authentication that ensures users can track all changes in their PDF files. This certification allows for no tampering to occur until after the signer has completed the document.
If you’d like to view the digital certification, you’ll need to install Adobe Reader, if you don’t already have it, and open the PDF through that program. If you look under the Signature Panel, you’ll be able to view the digital certificate. If you open the link, you’ll access additional information about the signer and document.
If, for some reason, any changes have been made to the document, the digital certificate will be broken. Please make sure that no changes have occurred to the document in SignNow, in order to access the digital certificate properly.
