How do I bypass the two-step verification of my Google Account?
Try it1. Go to Sign in - Google Accounts and click on Security. 2. Under 2-step verification section click on the "Settings" button. 3. Now under the "Application-specific passwords" section select "Manage application -specific passwords" (you might be required to enter your password again for security purposes). 4. Now just enter a descriptive name for the application you want to use the password for (in this case probably something like "Live Writer" and click the "Generate password" button. 5. Copy the newly generated password, then use it as your Google account password on Live Writer instead of your real password. I hope this helps.www.icognix.net

What is the problem of Trump not attending security briefings? What is the worst that can happen? Can he have someone else atten
I was not a Trump supporter. In fact, I was an outspoken critic. I gave money to Hillary’s campaign. I had always voted the Republican ticket. I have raised funds for John McCain. But I adamantly believed that Trump is a danger to the world.I served in the Marines. The oath I took tells me that I must support Presidents who are elected according to the mandates of our Constitution. He was elected according to our Constitution as it is currently written. I’ve seen and heard many disconcerting things from him since elected. However, for better or for worse, he is going to be our President for at least four years.I’ve run a few pretty big and fast-growing businesses. The only way I could keep them turned in the right direction was to delegate. I put people around me who were proven, smarter than me and loyal to the vision, not to me.I expect that, in an emergency, his trusted and qualified military and intelligence professionals, will brief him quite thoroughly daily, and hourly if required, prior to any decisions that may be made. He has delegated the daily briefings to his Vice President, whose counsel he seems to trust.I once had a position in an army (not The Army, instead, it was an actual combat-ready army.) It had a huge amount of assets, certainly in the tens of billions, more than 100,000 men and women and the most difficult supply chain and logistics operation ever imagined. If your Fedex delivery doesn’t arrive, nobody dies. If ammunition, medical supplies or even food people die, lots of them. The four-star general who was responsible for the army would not allow daily briefings if there were not a crisis. Instead, he took one organization-wide briefing a week on Tuesdays at 0700. The leaders of every major group in his army attended, as well as a couple of low-level guys like me and subject matter experts. The doors were locked at 0700 on the dot. If you weren’t there you stayed outside and had to answer to him after the meeting. I never saw anyone be late. The briefing lasted exactly one hour. If the briefings weren’t complete by then, it didn’t matter. He got up, pushed in his chair and walked out. There was only one chair in the room and he sat on it. The rest of us, and I’m talking two-star general and and other senior officers stood. He was briefed only upon strategic issues; the tactical issues were left to the leaders in the room, who then met with their leaders and so on to execute any orders that he may have given, which were few and far between. You simply cannot lead an organization of any size without delegating. Hopefully, you have put honorable and capable men and women around you that will keep you honest and let you know when you may be headed in the wrong direction. If they’re not, they surface quickly and are coached. If they don’t change their behavior quickly, they are mercilessly replaced.; at least they are in my organizations. However, executives cannot bury themselves in minutia on a daily basis unless there is a crisis that require their direct attention if they are to most efficiently run their organizations. The daily intelligence briefing forces Presidents into the position of dealing in minutia. In some cases, they will ask for more information or give orders regarding the information they get. When this happens unnecessarily, it whiplashes the entire organization for no good reason. The daily intelligence briefing is a ritual, not a requirement, or even necessarily a valuable use of the President’s time. I would never accept a daily briefing telling me details and then coming to the conclusion that nothing has changed. Certainly if there is a crisis, any executive would require updates, sometimes on an hourly basis. But to spend time every day for issues that are not crises is not appropriate. The outcry that he is somehow putting us at unnecessary risk because he does not spend time and brain cycles taking daily intelligence briefings is driven, IMO, by politicians wanting to pander to their constituents or for their own careers, not reality. Certainly, some have altruistic reasons, but these are a signNow minority. As much as it surprises me, I have watched him make at least a couple of sensible appointments to his cabinet. Especially for SecDef and Secretary of State. These give me hope that he is taking good advice and being thoughtful in at least these appointments. Certainly there is a great deal of cronyism, but that has been the case for every administration since the founding of the Republic. Many are up in arms about the selection of General Mattis as SecDef. General Mattis is a warrior, student of history and man of unquestionable honor who understands that bringing the Hammer of God imprudently is contrary to successful military doctrine that has been proven time and time again throughout recorded history.General Mattis has stated frankly that we will be patient and attempt diplomacy. However, when it is required, we will not be “nice,” as we have been doing since the end of WWII. War is not about being nice. It is about destroying the enemy as quickly and completely as humanly possible; you bring the most inconceivable power and resolve than anyone who has not been on a modern battlefield can imagine. Simply this threat alone stops many from getting ideas of causing instability to us and the world in general. Certainly, once they see this immense power and the will to use it discourages those that would continue to harm us or our allies. This doctrine worked for Genghis and Kublai Khan, Alexander the Great, the Spartans, the Romans, the British empire and us among countless other armies in history. In fact, this strategy, when properly implemented, actually saves lives because conflicts are much shorter and deflate the resolve of other countries and people who would compromise our safety around the world. Certainly he states it bluntly, but that’s how we communicate as warriors so there is no misunderstanding.Rex Tillerson is an inspired choice. He has run the most valuable company on earth successfully for more than a decade. He has vast experience running a global operation and has more high level relationships with more countries than any Secretary of State, indeed, any President in history. Exxon literally has the power of life and death in many countries because they are reliant on oil revenues. Yes, he was given a very prestigious award from Putin, but he has received similar honors from heads of state in countries all over the world. If anyone can effectively represent us on the world stage, it is him. I cannot think of a better choice; certainly it would not be a career politician. The Republic is resilient. We’ve had bad politicians before. We’ve had thieves, racists, men who are driven by what’s in their best interests, men who have not kept their promises, who lied incessantly, who did not enforce the rights of women or minorities and still we exist and have more guaranteed freedoms than any people on earth.Unless he starts a nuclear war, our country will go on. There will likely be heartbreak endless arguments and much gnashing of teeth, but that’s been the story since before our country was born. The framers built in checks and balances so that no one, especially the President, can make unilateral decisions that would destroy our country or give them ultimate power.Even as it regards our nuclear arsenal there are checks and balances. It requires three, not one, person to release nuclear weapons. These people do not blindly follow the President’s orders. From the first two weeks of bootcamp I was taught that while we have an obligation to follow orders, we are REQUIRED not to follow illegal orders. I now put my faith in the men and women placed in these positions that they are honorable people. They are not people who have such weak character that they would be intimidated by even a President. They will fulfill their duty not to destroy the world, including us, no matter what the President, any President, commands.Certainly, every President has made mistakes that have deep and lasting effects on us. However, the Republic still stands. We are still governed by the Constitution, if not always by the law or those who enforce it. Despite all of these issues, our country is still the greatest driver of global wealth the world has ever seen. We remain safe as a country because of the strength, commitment and professionalism of our military and intelligence agencies, as well as the fact that we are protected by two vast oceans. Our Republic will survive, regardless of whether or not he takes his daily intelligence briefings. If you enjoyed this, follow me for other content that I produce.

How can I get my first few customers?
So, you want a marketing critique, eh?Well, I normally charge $9,000/day for that, so take what I’m going to say serious.Stop running that shitty headline….”Get your FULL IT & Cyber Security Assessment for your entire business for FREE”I’ll tell you why…FREE is not a word that you want to use, if you want to actually charge premium prices, as it immediately devalues your service. It basically screams….”I’m desperate to get sales!” This acts as a repellent.Develop some cojones. You’re the cyber security expert, goddamit. You can save those companies hundreds of thousand of $$$! Millions even.Act like it.Onward…..Oh god….the headline. The headline doesn’t effectively communicate a benefit or agitate a problem and is weak.Try something else.A headline where you drum up some anxiety in your ideal customers (the key to knowing what they fear is research) or spark a desire….Something like…“State Government of New Hampshire Issues Warning: Cyber Attack on Middle Sized Company led to $3.2 Mill in loss!” - Is your company Prepared to Handle Cyber Attacks? Apply here for IT-Security Assements by our ExpertsJust out of the top of my head.Yes, I got a little carried away here, but you get the drift. Make them a little afraid of loss and the sale will get easier, because you’re the solution.Your current headline is just to booooring. And then you need to write some compelling copy to actually sell your “Assesments”, so that people actually sign up and you can sell them without much resistance. But that’s another story…..

During the Boston lockdown if a citizen refused the police entrance into their house would the police have surrounded the house
This one's a tangled mess of legal and practical issues. If you want simplistic speculation or out of context sound bites, there are thousands of Twitter accounts ready to fill this void in your life; otherwise, bear with me:The units going door-to-door weren't the type you say no to. They didn't have neighborhood cops tap-tap-tapping on screen doors - search teams were composed largely of SWAT units in full tactical gear. There were myriad unspoken pressures to consent to sweeps. Communication from SWAT squads would have been resolute, to say the least - there weren't any episodes of, "Hey, uh, would you care if we came in your house and looked around?" Besides that, it's very unlikely anybody in that area wanted to be an impediment to progress in the search - if something goes bad later and your neighbors find out you had been haranguing federal agents on your front stoop, to quote a certain ski instructor, you're gonna have a bad time.Objections would be swiftly met with assurances of scope. I ran into this on occasion. When I was a rookie, a situation arose in which we needed to clear a residence for some reason, and the shifty dude at the front door started balking at letting us come in. It was grey as far as emergency warrant exceptions went, so my street-wise backup officer said something along the lines of, "Listen, pal, all we want to do is make sure this guy's not in there. We don't have time to f--- around with your misdemeanor weed and paraphernalia tonight, so if you don't have our guy or a dead body in there, we're pretty much gonna bid you a nice evening and be on our way." The guy considered for a beat, then cleared the way. We swept the residence, hat-tipped him on our way out, and went on to the next door. I'm positive objections would have been met with something similar, though perhaps with less patience. Now, I don't know what the legal framework was behind the door-to-door canvass, or how exactly outright refusals would have been (or were) processed. I'm sure they had legal counsel close at hand throughout the duration of the event. That said, here are some considerations:Remember, residences were entered to sweep, not to search. There is a signNow legal difference. As an officer, if I had suspicion that someone was hiding in a residence that I had gained lawful entry into, I could conduct a sweep to ensure I wouldn't be ambushed by a hidden subject. However, the scope of this sweep was limited to looking for a person, and limited to areas in which a person could reasonably be expected to hide. Thus, I could look in closets and under beds, but not in nightstand drawers or medicine cabinets. What canvassing units were doing during the lockdown was a sweep, not a search; how this distinction relates to Fourth Amendment issues is a bridge too far as far as my expertise goes - I'll defer to more competent legal minds there. However, I will note that, despite varying legal opinions here, it's likely ensuring a terrorist wasn't passed over and allowed to get behind perimeter lines would be considered "reasonable" by many interpreters of law (definitely not all, though - hence the controversy). This would be less a matter of "throwing the law aside" and more one of operating based on exceptions which have withstood judicial and other scrutinies over time.If warrants were deemed required, they could be had quickly. I was first on scene to a grisly three car accident instigated by a drunk driver. Our point DWI officer attempted to get a breath sample from him on scene, but he had prior DWI convictions and refused. The DWI officer said, "That's fine, pal - I'll have a needle in your arm within the hour." Officer calls a prosecutor at home, who prints a boilerplate blood warrant in his home office while the officer whisks himself to the prosecutor's house. While he's coming, prosecutor calls the on-call circuit judge and asks if they can get a warrant signed for an emergency DWI blood draw. Having gotten a green light, officer picks prosecutor up and heads to the judge's house with completed form warrant in hand. Judge signs the warrant on his front porch, and officer is off to the hospital. With the warrant, hospital staff has legal clearance to draw blood specifically for the criminal investigation, and they do so. Time from breath test refusal on the accident scene to venipuncture at the hospital? All of 42 minutes. If the FBI's legal counsel deemed it necessary to secure a warrant in the wake of entry refusals, they could have them in a fraction of this time.I've looked for indications in many different quarters online as to whether anyone in the affected area actually refused a search; I can't find any. Some general conspiracy theories, some commentary on civil liberties erosion, but no mentions I can find of attempts to decline entry. Thus, any conjecture here or elsewhere may remain purely theory, as I doubt you'd get an answer from the command detail that wasn't mealy-mouthed and spun to the point of dizziness.

What would happen if after a bloody battle, a U.S. soldier returns back to base with an AK-47, and their M4 or M16 is nowhere to
It would depend entirely on how you lost your M4, M16, M249, etc. If the weapon was a legitimate combat loss, and could not be helped ( like an explosion) then the soldier wouldn't be held accountable for this. That means your PL, PSG, team leader, or some other credible soldier will need go up to bat for you, because the COC probably wont take your word for it. If the weapon was damaged and rendered inoperable then they will expect you to bring back that weapon simply for accountability. Make no mistake there would be an investigation into how the weapon was lost, and sworn statements would be signed to that effect. When a unit deploys they usually have a few extra weapons on hand for situations just as these, in line units these weapons are usually older M16A2 “Muskets”. So even if you did pick up an AK, SKS, or rusty ass Mauser (Yes Ive seen these in Iraq) when you got back to your Company or Troop area, you’d turn it in and draw a proper rifle. We actually do pick up the enemy weapons and bring them back with us. Some of these weapons stay with the American unit and are used for training purposes. Most are handed over to the local security forces, and are issued back out to their own troops. The ones that arent usable like the Mausers and Lee-Enfields, are just held in some arms room in country, or will be given to friendly non-government troops, ie Peshmerga regional units. These weapons can include anything from M1919A4 MMG’s to Sterling SMG’s to SKS’s to Mausers and the first and only I ever saw Type 81 LMG.Circling back to the question, no you cannot ditch your weapon for an AK, but if your weapon is a legitimate combat loss, you are not only allowed to but are encouraged to use any available weapons to continue fighting. When you are out of action your captured weapon will be turned in and replaced with something more suitable. Part of the reason units keep and train with captured weapons are scenarios such at that. Everyone in my platoon was familiar with the AK/AKM and the PKM GPMG.

Wasn't Trump wrong to doubt the loyalty of our small brother, Canada, even if it was just for a second? Shouldn't we Americans a
Was Trump wrong to declare his doubt of Canada’s integrity regarding promises? Yes. He most definitely was. Canada has, without fail, behaved as a loyal friend - to all our friends. We do so by supporting them in times of need. And we do so by quiet rejection of their bad behavour. We are adults who know that friendship is more than just ‘going along with whether right or wrong’. As adults we saw our roll as friend one requiring resolute ‘tough love’ from time to time.Loyalty. Americans - its conservatives consciously and its liberals unconsciously - seem to equate ‘loyalty’ with ‘fealty’. Canada and Canadians held America and Americans to be our peers. Our nations to be equals. Yes, Canadians have easily 10+ times the natural resource equity per capita as do Americans - but we don’t make a big thing of our relatively superior reserves of the fundamentals of life or of wealth-making. It would be crass to speak of America’s predicament of having sooo many mouths to feed on its share of the continental resources. That would lead to comparisons with the likes of, well, China - which is making far far more effective use of its same square footage. Despite our order of magnitude greater resources per capita Canadians have deemed Americans our peers - just as we do every people who don’t by their attitudes and action prove themselves lesser. In ‘Canadian’ ‘loyalty’ means ‘supporting the honourable actions of honourable friends’. In ‘American’ ‘loyalty’ means ‘subordination’ and ‘obedience’. ‘Vassal’. America’s interpretation of the term ‘loyal friend’ translates ‘vassal’. Post WW2 - geo-politics - the politics of the USA v. USSR ‘Cold War’ created an unnatural ‘us or them’ polarisation of the global community. To their credit 120 of the planet’s 195 independent states are officially ‘non-aligned’ - members of the NAM - the Non-Aligned Movement. It is only a matter of time - and likely very little time - before the nations which have remained alligned with the United States in the global village square recognise they are unofficially non-aligned - non-aligned in spirit, cut free by isolationist unilteral alienation (America’s slurring, insulting, smutting, and bespittling - America’s perverse definition of ‘friendship’), and pushed away by inane two-faced ‘friends but foes’ ‘Orwell meets Lewis Carroll’ blurts and blusters. It is only a matter of time before the 28 nations of the EU as well as Canada accelerate the separation. Some, short-sighted and narrow of vision, might say ‘Bosh. Canada just agreed to a new NAFTA (sorry, ‘USMCA’) North American free trade arrangement. That’s an agreement that won’t make it to law looking anything like it currently does. It must pass what promises to be at least a full year of critical analysis and debate - both in committee after committee as well as entire legislative assemblies - in at least 2 nations - and probably all 3. In Canada NAFTA - or more importantly and fundamentally the fall-out from those 15 months of ugly American balderdash - stand to be ‘the’ issue over which the 2019 national election will be fought. The treaty’s travel through America’s legislatures promises to be problematic - even if the Republicans retain control of both houses. (If they do so then Canada and the rest of the OECD will be distanced even further from America.)In other words? In other words the agreement the question mischaracterises as ‘promising not to pursue a free trade agreement with China’ stands next to zero chance to become binding on America, Canada, or Mexico in remotely current form. The iota of a chance is more than a year off. And until then Canadians can negotiate the freeing of trade between Canada and China to our hearts’ content. We can continue to negotiate product by product and sector by sector as we’ve been doing - and we can pursue full free trade with the PRC. Free trade treaties between nations neither of which is a big batshit baby isn’t all that frought with difficulty. And with a ticking clock of sorts running down both Canada and the PRC are highly motivated to get the pact done. Perhaps in time for it to go before the nation’s ‘stockholders’ in that 2019 general election.By the way? The USMCA as it currently stands doesn’t preclude signatories from negotiating freer trade with other nations - only that any of us indtending to do so will inform the others - and those others can instigate the process to negate the treaty. Rest assured that since America elected Trump and allowed him the run of the White House and its ludicrously close to dictatorial powers Canada is not going to factor tradition and sentiment into deciding who we seek to trade with as favored clients … any more than America has.Was Trump America wrong to doubt Canadian integrity? Absolutelyso. He was. But would he - or America henceforth - be wrong to do so now and in the future? No. Not now that Canada knows all too well that America’s ‘loyalty’ is unworthy of trust. Now America has to live with the fact that, its mask dropped, it is now a nation like any of 195 others. Conveniently close? Sure. But a sound investment going forward? Not so much. Going forward the cost of American protectionistic tariffs may translate into a bigger number in black ink in the bottom right hand corner of the balance sheet. Add to that that China is on a rising socioeconomic arc - and America’s has long plateaued - nations or corporations with sharp pen, solid business plans, and keen eyes on the numbers know the future is China’s to lose. And China would have to go to great effort to do so. A nation with up to 100 metropoli under construction (and 10 with a future population of a million each already waiting in ‘bubble-wrap’) - and with an experimental orbital array intended to suppliment or replace the streetlights of Chengdu’s city center (175 square miles) in order to reduce the city’s energy costs by 173 million dollars per annum - and with high-speed rail and other transport or communications infra-structure spreading as fast as Morning-glory in July - China is playing the long game - and putting up unbeatable numbers. Canada will have very free trade with all of our Pacific Rim associates. If you want evidence of the lengths to which Canada is going to forge our new relationship with China you need look no further than our purchase of a major pipeline from an American firm - nationalising it into a Crown corporation and pressing for its tripling to move massive amounts of liquid energy from in the prairie heart of our nation straddling the Alberta-Saskatchewan border through British Columbia’s ports to Asia - to China. With a tad doled out to western U.S. states. Add to this 40 billion dollars to liquify natural gas for shipment to that same Asian market and it becomes clear that a slow tectonic trade shift has now accelerated into a cataclysmic paradigm shift - one that has China ascendant - while America is ….America can trust Canada to do what is in Canada’s (and our global trade village) most sustainable - and thus by necessity equitable - interests. Thanks to the U.S. Canada’s loyalies are disambiguated. Don’t count on us .. any more than we’ve learned we can count on you, America. Good luck with that ‘greatness’ thing, eh,‘Loyalty’, America must sooner rather than later learn, isn’t the same as ‘fealty’.

Trump Jr. also sent the email after news broke that former acting Attorney General Sally Yates had alerted the White House that Flynn might have lied about discussing sanctions with then-Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
The White House, which initially said that Trump didn't know any details about Flynn until he learned about it later — then said that the president only found out about them through media reports — has faced questions about why Trump's son was seeking to establish communications with the Russian government in the first place.
In a series of tweets, Trump Jr. denied that he and others had received the emails, and called the Times story "a COMPLETE and TOTAL FABRICATION" of his meeting. He said the Times' "fictional account" was "100% made up."
