how do you travel to hawaii and skip the 10-day mandatory quarantine keep watching [Music] hey guys it's trixie welcome or welcome back to the channel in this video i'm gonna be showing you how we processed our requirements to be able to travel to hawaii and skip the 10-day quarantine program so in hawaii's travel website which is travel.hawaii.gov they mentioned that beginning december 17 2020 passengers who test negative to covet 19 in a pre-travel test taken within 72 hours of departure will not be subject to the state's 10-day quarantine program but take note though that the covet tests will only be accepted from their trust and travel partners which i will show you in a bit so yeah let me show you how we did it okay so first step is to sign up to create a user account so in their website travel.hawaii.gov you can see create an account at the lower left of this window simply fill that out with your email and your password click sign up remember that each traveling adult must create their own account after that you'll get a verification link in your email and then just log in once you're logged in all you got to do is to complete the profile questions and then sign it and then submit once that's done you can go ahead and add the details of your trip you can also see that on this icon right here everything's pretty straightforward in their form so yeah we don't need to get into detail with this one let's go to the next step which is to upload your documents the document that they're talking about here is your kovit test result take note though that you're only able to upload a covet 19 test result taken within 72 hours from your travel so if you have a connecting flight it'll be 72 hours from the final leg of your travel so yeah we do need to take our covet test but remember that the test results that they accept will only be from the trusted travel partners so what you need to do is to go to the documents icon and look for the link to the travel partners or you can simply go to hawaiikovit19.com travel dash partners and you will see a list of all the places you can contact to book an appointment we chose carbon health for us by the way this video is not sponsored or anything but yeah we did choose carbon health just because they guaranteed to give us the result the next day so we kind of didn't want to stress about it so that's what we went for it was pretty simple we just went to their website clicked book appointment clicked in clinic visit as you can see there's a fee of 170 dollars per person i know that was the downside of it but it guaranteed to give us the results the next day so we just went for it we clicked on book travel clearance picked our date and time i clicked i'm new to carbon i clicked myself for this one i filled this out with my information answered a few more questions everything's pretty straightforward so you just click on ok i understand so yeah you just read everything that's here and click ok i understand after that it just goes through a little bit of your medical history and then you give your payment information they won't charge you until you actually take the test so your card will just be stored but it won't be charged until you get there once that's done they'll give you your appointment details and some important notes let's go with testing day today sorry it's all bouncy because we're already on the way say hi mikey um so we're driving to this place called carbon health it's the covet testing facility that's one of the travel partners i think that's what they call it travel partners of hawaii so um we're gonna get tested there we picked this one because there's a guarantee that we're getting the results tomorrow at 2 p.m so today is the 16th of february and we're getting the results on february 20 um february 17th and then we leave on the 19th so yeah that's within 72 hours before our flight [Music] looks like we got the place all to ourselves [Music] all right we're here we actually scheduled a six o'clock appointment and i think it's pretty good because there's only two people ahead of us [Music] all right we're doing it let's go [Music] i've already told trixie that this is not the brain catching kind of test all right we're done so yeah it took like maybe a few seconds and this one wasn't the invasive kind so it just goes up to the nose bridge which is good i asked them if it's effective as the other one that goes all the way in they said that it's all the same they found out easier ways to do it so just like tickling your nose a little bit it got a little teary-eyed it was really pretty quick they were all super nice too we'll see the results tomorrow at two o'clock and they have an app so it's super easy we're just gonna see the notification from there and then i will know the verdict tomorrow for going to hawaii or not so the process was very easy you just have to wait for your turn and then you check in you pay and then if you're going to hawaii they show you this like paperwork with everything that's needed like how to upload your results so you just take a picture of that and then they send you to the next dent which is like two steps away where the nurse is and then that's where you do your testing after that you're done all right so it's the next day and guess who got her negative test result i guess we're going to hawaii okay we're doing it old school because we're using a different computer so just go to travel dot dot and then this will appear you'll put on your email that you registered before and then log in and this is what you'll see go to your documents so we are uploading our results so upload file and then just search for your document you just need to fill in the the trip details put covid test result provider so for us we're putting carbon health because that's our provider for the covet testing we're picking standard hawaii form and then just scroll down click choose file search for your file there you go and click submit that's it uploaded so we printed this as well just in case we need to present it after uploading you also need to fill out this health questionnaire this has to be filled out within 24 hours before your flight so again just click on the trip and then you just need to fill in the health details so these are notes for me so questions are like these do you feel ill now have you had a flu vaccine have you taken medicine have you signed a 10-day quarantine order yeah so it's a bunch of no's for me and then down here you just need to sign within this box after you've signed it just click on accept signature and then submit do you want to submit the health record yes submit it so after you fill out the questionnaire you're gonna get a qr code that you can show to the people at the airport and we're done that's it we're ready for tomorrow just finished checking in it was so easy really quick it's like less than two minutes [Music] you
