[Music] hey everybody it's me Leslie pace some of you may know me from Instagram as paper and stitch cow hello I am excited to share a fun fun project with my mommy Leigh designs see you in Paris November kit this is probably today my most favorite kit a purse because it is just amazing her artwork and her designs all by Leigh are just gorgeous and beautiful and I'm in awe every time she comes out with a new release and this one is is my ultimate favorite this has to be my favorite and as a part of our design team they said that we could have some fun with the kids and see what we come up with and I wanted to do a fun travelers notebook folded insert and I'm not sure many pockets I'm gonna end up with but it should be quite an adventure and I will get this party started and we will start doing some crafting with this beautiful kit by mommy Leigh okay so let's get started I am going to start with using the mommy late papers and just jump right into making a traveler's notebook standard size insert and I'm gonna make a folded pocket insert with her papers your papers are double-sided this is the bow paper with the pretty florals on the back side for pink and white stripe I love this leopard print look at this pretty crosses and stripes the love that she designs everything so this is just amazing and another beautiful floral with the mint green and the pink love this alright so what I mean by standard size here is what I'm gonna be making it for us for this book look at this cute little girl and she cute this came this comes in your kit as well and this is a standard sized traveler's notebook insert and they are if you unfold them 8.75 inches wide and eight point two five inches in height and I'm gonna be making a folded pocket insert with her papers that this would tuck inside and her papers measure they are eight and a half in width and eleven inches in height and I'm going to start with the bow paper I want my bow paper to face the front so this is what you would see in the front when you open it up cuz I think it's pretty it's all beautiful but this one's very pretty and I'm gonna turn it on its side and I'm gonna score up to eight point seven five so when I fold it in half it would look like this so it leaves I know what 3.75 no 2.25 inches over here on on the right-hand side so I kind of did a little pre marking before I started the video and what I'm going to do this is going to be the outside of my travelers notebook insert and since I scored this I'm just going to fold a little flap over to where it's on the inside so when you fold it look like this when you open it up you have this on the left-hand side and this is what you would see on the right and I am just going to add a little bit of glue to the top here a little bit on the bottom and none right here because I want this to be a little pocket an inside pocket okay and you can staple you can glue whatever works for you I like to do a little glue and then look at this cute washi that came in our kids little macaroons but the hearts how sweet is that we want to cut off some pieces of it and just kind of do a little trimming here a little decorative trim work this is really purely just for decorative touches for my eyes because I think it's really pleasing to the eye when I have just a little bit of extra extra love on my travelers netbook inserts okay here we go well that's not good okay super cute so if you wanted to like here's here's one of her cards her little project life cards and it would tuck right in just like that all right outside pocket is done I'll put that off to the side now I'm gonna do a second layer and this is only use the pink and white stripe and I'm gonna score seven and a half inches down this is 11 inches in height and I scored at a 7.5 inches down and I'm gonna fold up my flat at that scoring just like that then I'm gonna fold it in half okay this is going to tuck inside the other insert I just made and again I'm not going to seal in here just yet but I am going to fill these outside edges this is Tim Holtz ranger collage glue stick this works pretty good for me especially when I add some extra washy to kind of seal it off more than likely when I'm done with this with all the gluing and the taping and stapling that I'll be doing I'll probably a big old book on there and kind of seal the deal all right now now it's seven and a half inches high and it is still about 8.5 inches yeah about 8.5 inches in width going this way I'm going to add a little bit more washi to the edges because this is just the cutest this little see you in Paris theme oh my gosh I love everything about it from the teacups to the beautiful girls wait to see the girls I'll show you when I start decorating my pages sorry how to do little paws there my dogs get a little restless if they don't get a little love here and then of course they always ask for love when I'm shooting a video so what I'm doing is I'm sealing off the little corners the outer edges of this pocket with some of this super cute washy little smiley faces how she come up with this I so jelly she's so talented okay this is the second later and it will fit nice and snug right in here and I like that you can see all the different patterns peeking through including the little bows okay and then finally I've got one more piece of paper notice I didn't cut anything I couldn't I just couldn't it's just too gorgeous and I want this to last I want to keep this you know you break it out during Valentine's Day and just I think it goes perfectly with this particular travelers notebook and Wow or just I fell in love with this as soon as I saw the sneak peeks and I just couldn't wait to get my hands on it all right so now we're back with another Levin inches high and then 8.5 inches in width and I am going to fold this in half just like so yes just like so so I folded it in half and they also did another scoring down the middle because this is gonna be another pocket okay and I also have a nice little fun little hole punch kind of got little scalloped edges I'm just gonna do kind of going halfway down baby alright just kind of eyeballing it in the middle woohoo got paper flying now people and so this way these are gonna be two full pockets right here okay and again I'm just gonna seal the outer edges my little handy dandy glue stick zip fold it seal the edges get some more beautiful wash sheets cuz it's cute eyeballing it there I'm just doing the outside edges kind of sealing it up a little bit giving you a little extra folding it over so you just kind of see it on both sides same thing on this one folding it over oh this is gonna be perfect okay here are my three layers and what I have is a very long swing line and that I got at Staples look at that sucker oh my gosh and the reason why I got it is because look you can go as deep as you need to and I do a lot of scrapbooking with 12 by 12 pages I really wanted to have something that would go really deep into the papers and I've got it all lined up to where the score lines all meet in the middle and I'm going to staple I know I know but that's that's just how I do it I have seen where you can do a pamphlet stitch on these and I haven't tried my hand at that yet so we're gonna stick with what I know and that's my swing line I am going to start in the middle and I will try to get all three pieces in here in the middle which is right there kind of flip it over alright here again you know all my pieces together may be a little bit off-center but I am gonna cover it up with washi tape so I'm gonna do two more one right here in between the top two little stake right there and then at the very bottom I'm gonna get all three again okay fold it up and this is what it looks like before I get to decorating boom pockets pocket pocket another pocket outside pocket alright and I'm gonna keep the video running and I'm gonna do a little decorating and show you how I play with the mommy'll a little bit and we are going to have some fun now okay I am back so apparently according to my teenage daughters that get a little too chatty when I'm doing my little videos so I figured I'd go ahead and decorate my pocket folder insert and then share with you everything that I came up with I I just can't tell you enough how much I love this kid this is my favorite so gorgeous I went ahead and stuff some of my pockets with some of the pretty project life cards and look at that cute paper clip that comes in our kit all I do is I took the grace not perfection card look how good look how gorgeous she is later that yep and in our kit comes all these fabulous stickers and most of everything that I used in this insert in fact almost all of it came from these sticker sheets how cute are they and then also use some of her Vomero bits and pieces that came in here so I just added some washi and I always layer in three so here's a little bit of floral piece a couple of pieces of washi planner girl layered on top of this page flag I this I saw that on the sneak peeks when this kit was being sneak peek tanned oh my goodness I cannot wait to get my hands on this little kit okay so turning the page on the inside I think this project life card right here is so adorable beauty inside out did a little bit of more layering over here and on this side on the outer side of this pocket I added a clear pocket that I got from Target they come looking like this and it peels off and it has a little slit in the top I thought it'd be adorable to layer in here and I put a sticky note behind it and then layered this on top and I think what these are it says it's a 20 count adhesive square label pockets and I got him at Target and I got a lot of them from Target so I thought this would be perfect for look at this little stamp set and you see this mercy a little macaroons how cute is that so I thought that would be a perfect little pocket for my little stamp set to go in here and then did some more layering and then turning the page I've got one of my pockets here some decorative touches I took the love sticker and kind of divided up the page right there and some more layering here is one of the pockets you can kind of see there I put some sticky notes in there and in the middle here's Rob you can see all three layers one two and three and I decorated the inside of this particular folder so you can still see the pockets right there and I think you see her little smile is just wonderful turning the page oh I love her too you still see the pockets here and then another pocket there I love this little the little teacups that came in our paris-themed kit so cute turn the page again here's the backside Hedda did a little mercy and a little more Eiffel Tower action and in here I just use this pocket just as an example and this is what comes in the November kit for see you in Paris the pin do you guys see that pin what how cute is that the gorgeous washi tape the die cuts and F of Mara the sticky notes the planner charm in the keychain you guys kind of saw that there's the there's the planner charming keychain the paperclip the patterned paper the project life cards and one of the cards is a cut apart card and that's where this came from and this little piece came from where does another of this part right there I just kind of cut it apart in and add it as part of my decoration and slip that right into that little pocket right there oh look at that I absolutely love love this kit I hope you enjoyed my video in this blog
