E- sign is a new facility provided for GST enrolment. It will enable the taxpayer to sign their GST enrolement application without using DSC. If you are an individual , HUF and partnership then you can file the enrolment application without DSC. You can sign the enrolment application electronically using the E- sign. It will result in cost saving as you will not have pay for the DSC. It will be easier for you as other procedure like registering DSC will also not be required.What is E- sign? How does it work?E- sign stands for electronic signature. It is an online electronic signature service that allows an Aadhaar holder to digitally sign a document. If the taxpayer opts to electronically sign the enrolement application or any other document at the GST common portal using the e- sign services.Following steps will be required to use E- signThe GST common portal prompts the taxpayer to enter the Aadhaar number of the authorized signatory.After validating the Aadhar number , the GST common portal sends a request to UIDAI system to send an OTPUIDAI system sends an OTP to e- mail address and mobile number registered against Aadhar number.the GST system prompts the taxpayer to enter the OTP.The taxpayer enters the OTP and submits the Enrollment Application or the document. The E- signing process is completed.This facility is free of cost and easy to use.It is mandatory to file your application with digital sign. This sign can be via DSC or E-sign. You will not be able to file your enrolement application without signature.

Now for privacy reasons, let’s assume that my son and I live in an imaginary town called Terrytown (our town also has the word “town” at the end—just a different prefix).Now the way the school system works in our district is that the Terry School District begins with many different elementary schools, then these elementary school students blend into a few larger middle schools, and these larger middle schools blend into one giant high school.Terrytown High SchoolThe majority of the students at the school live in Terrytown, but there is one other location where students come from called Terry Plains.So my son and his idiot friends begin writing this manifesto which (according to my son) was meant to mock Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party.You see, for those of you that don’t know, the word “Nazi” is an abbreviation for the NSDAP, which standed for “Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei” or the “National Socialist German Workers Party”.So to mock them, my son and his idiot friends begin writing their manifesto on the mini-whiteboard, titling it “The Townist Socialist Party of Terrytown”.Now you would think that a far-right activist would begin writing racist things about illegal immigrants, or Jews, or African-Americans or something like that…no…no…no.My son and his idiot friends write this manifesto as an emulation of Mein Kampf, except instead of having the antagonist be the Jews, they make the antagonists the kids from Terry Plains. They wrote about how Terrytown High School students lack the honor in their distinction, and that only kids who were born within Terrytown should be allowed to attend the high school…meaning the Terry Plains kids have to go.The manifesto began to go in-depth about more garbage regarding how they were going to get rid of the Terry Plains kids. First, they were gonna make all of them wear a patch on their shirt which said “Terry Plains”. Second, they were gonna confiscate their lockers and school issued computers. And lastly, they were gonna round them all up on the school buses and “deport” them to the former middle schools which they attended in Terry Plains.I was always a bit of an edgelord myself, so I suppose I could understand the joke. But my son and his idiot friends were dumb enough to write this manifesto and to not erase it!The physics teacher (who according to my son was an “SJW”) ended up finding the manifesto. Horrified, she immediately turned it over to the Dean of Students at Terrytown High School.The problem with my son is that similarly to me, he can let a joke carry him away. So he and his idiot friends actually began recruiting people to his non-existent political party. His school uses an online based server called Google Drive which allows students to share documents amongst themselves, and my son made a document which had the list of over 100 people who decided to join his political party as a joke.Now I can only imagine how awkward of a conversation it was for my son when he had to explain to his Dean of Students that he wasn’t actually a fascist, and that he didn’t actually intend to deport the Terry Plains kids because they were municipally inferior—or something like that?Am I proud of it? No.Am I amazed by it? Believe it.

KYC verification can be done in two ways. One is done online using aadhar based otp verification by virtue of which one can invest upto Rs 50,000 per mutual fund house per year. However, one wants to exceed this limit full kyc or central kyc CKYC is required . For this, there are two ways. One is by visiting authorized KRA centres and filling the form of CKYC with PAN and address proof. But this process requires prior investment in atleast one mutual fund or investment proposal has to be submitted with the CKYC form along with cancelled cheque. Alternately, one can visit mutual fund house branch office in the city and submit application for investment in any scheme along with CKYC form and requisite documents. They will then get it done for you. The aadhaar based KYC is immediate while CKYC requires atleast 15 to 30 days based on document verification. CKYC once done does not require to be done again while buying any mutual fund from any fund house. However, any particulars changes like mobile number, address,etc will require CKYC update. For this one can directly go to KRA centres and submit CKYC update form. CKYC number is unique for all persons which is required while purchasing mutual fund. In case , one does not like to take pain one can always approach certified mutual fund agent and they will surely help them get CKYC without any hassles but then one will gave to buy regular plan of mutual fund in place of direct plan. You will get it by courier.How to apply online for getting iec onlineGo to Google search, type '' iec online ''Go to first link of dgft.Apply for fresh application.Fill all your details as it as given in document.After filling all details you may need to pay rs.,500/- as a fees online. You can pay via netbanking or credit card or debit card.You may also need to upload your scan photograph not more than 5kb in size & in . Gif format only.You may also need to upload pan card copy in . Pdf or . Gif format not more than 5kb in size.You may need to submit scan copy of current bank account s cancel cheque & file size should not be more than 5kb &. Gif or Pdf format only.Now check all the spellings & address.Install Emudhra digital signature certificate by attach dingle to USB. Install software.You may also need updated java version. If you don't have, go to Google search, type updated java version . after updating java login to dgft site & submit your iec application through digital signature.Note :you don't need to send your documents to regional dgft offices.You need Internet Explorer as a browser to do all this process.Total cost for getting import export license in india is rs. 600for dsc & rs. 500 for licensing.Total rs. 1100.You don't need to renew your certificate ever.Ps.
