hello everyone this is a quick demo to show you how you can request a signature using Adobe Acrobat Pro DC so I'm in Adobe Acrobat right now and I've got a PDF that requires a signature from someone so how can I send this to them so it's easy for them to sign and get back to me you certainly can just send them the the PDF file and hope that they know how to sign it and send it back to you but it turns out Adobe Acrobat has a built-in feature to help with us so if you have it open along the side here note it might be hiding but right here you should see fill and sign and if you want to get others to sign there's a button for that request signatures you will need to type in that person's email address I'll just type in my email address my personal one you do have a space here to put a subject and write comment and you can even specify where you need that person to sign which is a good idea so this will get loaded up into the cloud and then you'll see your form again next you need to help Adobe Acrobat know where that signature is and so this is the right spot sometimes you have to draw a box but this worked out just fine it understands that this is a signature field and that's what we need to request and there are some little directions over here with that I can go ahead and hit the send button and that has been set now I minimize Adobe and go to my Inbox I will get an email letting me know that this one out and then the person on the other end will get an email stating that they need to signs of them so if I go ahead and review and sign this this PDF pops up there is a place for me to sign if I click it I can type my signature I could draw my signature use an image of my signature there's all sorts of possibilities luckily I have my computer pen so or are in this isn't that hard at all oh I even get to type my name imagine somebody wouldn't know that's my signature here we go fly and it's all official as you can see there's a button barely visible at the bottom of the screen here that says click to sign I'm gonna click that and it's done I will get an email then letting me know that someone has signed it and I could download that and save it where I need to save it it was actually a very good history of the time that the other person sent it and so forth and so on hopefully that helps you with getting signatures electronically in our current situation
