payment menu you can see tracking numbers listed in order of their date of creation and you can also filter the displayed receivables by clicking search at the top right and selecting a particular customer and in the extreme left side each tracking number will be displayed and in order to enter a receipt or discount you can first select the corresponding tracking number and enter the received amount or discounted amount in each column on the right side and if you enter an amount in discount amount field it will be automatically reflected on the decrease amount and if there was no discount leave the field blank and enter only the received amount in decrease amount column and if you received only part of the amount enter the corresponding amount it is not a must to enter the full amount so as an example i will decrease three receivables one as full receipt the other as partial receipt and another as receipt with discount and in order to process discounts in this menu you need to first set the journal entry account for discounts and you need to set only once at the first time click option at the top right and click account settings set the account for discounts and generally 4039 sales discount account is used and you can click save to finish then click journal receipt journal button at the bottom to process the selected three decreases in the popup window you can set the receipt type between cash bank note check and other account so select the method of the receipt and if you received the amount by none of the listed options select other account option this time i will select the most frequently used option cash bank and in deposit account field i will enter the corresponding checking account then in remarks field select which value will be applied whether to apply the same remarks as the one entered in the increase of the selected receivables or whether to apply the tracking numbers in remarks field or whether to manually enter a new remark next in batch import bundling settings field when you decrease multiple receivables at once if you select byline option the tracking numbers selected in the list will be entered in the receipt journal voucher by the department and project for each row that are entered in the receipt journal voucher so after setting each field click apply then you can verify the voucher details and click save then you can view the receipt journal voucher in accounting 1 voucher list menu you can view the journal entry for the receivables that you selected next we will go over how to enter receipts with notes receivable select the desired receivable and click receipts journal at the bottom set the receipt type to note and in account code field enter note receivable account and set the creation method for the number of nodes receivable you can manually set the desired node number or if you received multiple nodes receivable you can select first check number option and assign the starting number of the notes receivable and then the program will generate the number of each note receivable in sequence and if you select auto number option the program will generate node numbers based on the user customization node number generation settings in user customization configuration function setup accounting tab you can go to the bottom and go to auto code number settings section click node receivable number and you can set variables for node number generation you can add factors set the number of digits set the default value and so forth i will select first check number option and apply and verify the generated numbers and apply again then you can verify voucher details and save you can also process receipts with cheques by linking with accounting to check module and you can learn more by referring to accounting to check video select the receivable that you will decrease and enter amount in each corresponding column then click receive journal button set the receipt type to check and set how to process the check number in the same way as notes receivable number and here is well the auto code option will follow the settings of user customization and one thing to note is that in deposit account field you can enter only the bank account codes that are linked with an account code whose related work is deposit and whose check option has been activated so in related work field you can set the settings for each account code set the check option to use then if you save the receipt journal the voucher will be displayed in voucher list menu lastly in addition to receive journal button you can decrease receivables by decrease only receivable type so this type will have no effect to the accounting one module and therefore use this option if you already entered the receipt of the corresponding receivable in accounting one menus such as fast entry receipt journal or from customer menu and if you already entered data in those menus since the corresponding tracking number is not linked with the receipt you entered you need to additionally process the tracking number in the accounting 2 receivable module so if you select receivables and select decrease only receivable you will see no deposit account field since you already entered the data in the accounting 1 module and you can also select multiple receivables and process all of them by decrease only receivable type
