hey everyone and welcome to soda pdfs how to choose days this week we'll be covering how you can create a template in the eastside module using soda PDF first click on the eastside module and then choose the template section at the end of the list you'll see create template and you should click here the first step is going to be to add a document for your template and you can do this by clicking on the add document button now you're going to click on add files to go through your computer choosing any and all pdfs you'd like to add to this document once you've selected a file it'll appear in this list now if you've chosen to add multiple files to this template you're going to want to make sure they're in the correct order at this step you can rearrange the files by selecting one and using the up or down arrows to change its order in the list you can remove a file by clicking on the delete option once you're ready click on save you can name each of your files here and then you can add a description if relevant this checkbox will make it so that a document isn't meant to be signed but only accepted by users when doing this you will simply add the recipients of the file for this example we are not going to configure it this way to move on to the second step which is to set up your signers click on the two at the top there are two ways you can approach this you can create actual signer fields which will use the signer information you've configured in soda PDF to determine who will sign your documents you also have the choice to put a placeholder field so that the field is in the correct place but you can assign the field at a later time under the actual section you would choose the signer you would want from this list so for this example we'll choose this and then you're going to choose the type of field signature that you want once you've selected it click on added drag your mouse cursor into the document and you'll see the signature feel it appear once you've placed it you can add a form field which will request additional information related to the signer as an example if we click here then we click Add put this down onto the document when the user signs their signer title will also appear you can add multiple signers to the same document and when you do this you will see that the color changes to make it easier for you to track each signer if you do not have a signature field selected you will not be able to add a foreign field as a foreign field is always related to a specific signature field to go through that list simply select the signature field...
