[Music] [Music] hey guys and welcome to another correct am photography video and today we're going to be looking at how to get your own personalized handwritten signatures on your photos so stay tuned we've got a lot to get through so the first thing you want to do is open up the app picsArt now you can find this in the link below I've done quite a few tutorials with this app I really love it I think it's quite unique that it's given us the sort of Photoshop features and today it's gonna really help to do this effect so what you want to do is upload the picture that you would like to add your own handwritten signature the next you're gonna take a piece of paper and a pen and you're going to draw out your signature so have a couple of girls are getting it right it will take some time I personally suck at signatures because my handwriting is terrible so the people that I've got calligraphy skills this is your time to shine okay so once you perfect that pick your best one take your camera on your phone and take a photo of that handwritten signature but so make sure your piece of paper is white and the pen you use is black you'll find it will really help for you to remove the color and apply this effect later right so I've loaded up the picture that I want to edit in Pixar and I'm going to go down to where it says add photo let me just move that out of the way so it says add photo okay and there you can see the signature so I'm just gonna tap on where it took this photo and as you can see it's not a great photo it's all it is it's just me practicing to get that signature right and I was quite happy with this one so I picked this one okay so for the next step what we're going to do is get rid of the color now there's a little bit of warmth on the actual white piece of paper that's just given the light and the time of day took the photo so I'm just going to remove all the color so I get this very black and white feel following that I'm going to up the contrast a little bit because I really want the blacks to stand out a lot and the next thing is I'm going to increase the brightness and by doing that I'm also increasing the light on that paper so all the white areas are really standing out now so don't do too much if you go overboard it will also take away that black writing okay so once you're happy with that just hit the tick and then the next thing you're going to do is I need to crop it I need to get rid of where I was doing my little test signatures there and all I want is just the one way it says Crichton photography there we go so make that crop very tight there we up so just hit the tick once you're done and then you can resize it I'm just gonna resize it just to show you here and then what you want to do is scroll down here and look for way it says effects and tap on that and scroll to the left scroll left and you should see an option there called colors so tap on colors and look for where it says negative and once you tap on that it switches the black writing to white writing and the white background to a black background which is what we want and after doing that what you need to do is you'll see it's changed and all you need to do is go back to that menu and scroll - it says blend tap on blend and tap on screen and there you go so there is that first bit of handwriting that has changed it's taken away the background and then you've got that quite template ography they're standing up and that simple so also I'm gonna show you another way - just give me one second to upload the next picture okay so this picture here I've got a very light background and I want to have black writing you can use the same picture you took of that writing to do this way around as well so it makes it easy that you don't have to keep writing out on a different colored piece of paper or whatever let's not worry about that so what you need to do is to bring up the photo again it's just going to rotate it there and we're going to do the same thing so I'm just going to take away that color okay and I'm going to increase the contrast and I'm going to increase the brightness about half okay and then from there I'm going to crop it down just make that crop tight there we are and now you don't need to go into the effects panel all you need to do is go back into that blend one and tap multiply so multiply removes sort of the white areas in your image if you're going to use that effect and as you can see is to remove that white background completely and I can put Crichton photography and black writing up there in the corner of the screen if I wanted to and just hit that tick when you're done and there you have it a really simple and easy way to get your own handwritten signature in your photography work with just using your phone and a free app so that's it so thank you so much for watching my video if you like what you seen do drop us a like subscribe and share and do your worst in that comment section also if you've done this tutorial love to see your signatures so tag at qui tam photography on Instagram or Twitter and yeah I'll see you in the next one Cheers you
