so we are we have 23 participants and we have a 33 signed up so more may arrive but we're going to get started because we have two hours to get through a lot of content to start off with uh my name is Perry and Perry King I am the training officer and the sponsored programs office here at UC Davis and uh I've been with this office for a year and a half now and uh really enjoying this role and I look forward to today's class Elisa you want to introduce yourself I'm Elisa bun I'm one of the team leads for the proposals um Team here in sponsor programs thank you Elisa so I see in the chat chalene's asking if it's okay to join without signing up uh yeah I just wanted folks to sign up so that I knew who was here today so I had a record and I could follow up um afterwards I'm going to be sending out the slide deck to all the participants so chalene I'll add you to make sure you get a copy of it foreign so uh that said um yeah all the content that you'll be seeing in our slide deck you'll be receiving a copy of it so you don't have to take as extensive notes and uh there will be some links and so you'll have actions for those links as well additionally uh we are going to have you break out into breakout rooms at some point today because we're a large group and because we uh have limited time okay I see that JS Taurus wants to be added as well um we're not going to take a moment now to have all of you introduce yourselves but when we do go out in the breakout rooms uh I think it would just be nice if you said hi and Folks at hi to each other and also that you um unmute yourself show your video if you're able to do either of those and uh just try to make it feel like you're uh meeting some folks and then you're going to work together to address some questions that we've asked you to address and likewise as we're going on today Lisa and I we both welcome your questions and this is a training opportunity so there are no questions that are too dumb or uh simple for you to ask ask us anything as we go if we're going too fast let us know and you can write in the chat to address us or you can unmute yourself show your video and uh and ask the question that way we uh welcome the opportunity to make sure you know everything and are getting uh taking full advantage of this class all right with that said let's Jump Right In So today we're going to be looking at the budget templates that the sponsor programs office has made available...
