Add Byline Name with airSlate SignNow

Put name document

I'm hearing a word document and I've got my name down at the bottom here in this document and it's automatically picking it up from the file properties of this document and you can see it's at the lower left hand side of each page it's in the footer I could have it centered I could have it right aligned I could have it in my documents I could have it in the header as well so just how do I get it in there so that it does it automatically so what I'm gonna do is just go into insert on my tab at the top here you'll see I've got my footer in the header and footer section it's going to click in there go to edit footer and I'm just going to delete that I'm just gonna highlight it and just get rid of it that's gone so there's two ways I can put this in and both of them I've done through the quick parts option here you'll find it in header and footer tools in the design so you can do it in there you can also go into insert and you'll see that the quick parts is over here as well and that's where you use it as well when you're just putting it directly into the document so what you can do there's two ways you can do this one is by going into here and going into the document property and choosing author it pops it in there with my name now you need to be careful here because if you change it here it will also change in your file properties so let's just take a quick look at the file properties you find that in the file tab at the top here and you'll see on the right-hand side it's got the author here if I was to change that to just say Gary so let me edit that by right-clicking and removing let's just click on okay so it just says Gary there now if I go back to home you'll see it's changed in here now if I just say put it in as Gary s go back to file and you'll see it's changed the author here as well so you need to be a bit careful with that so that's how it works by putting it in as a document property let's just go up to the header here and you can also do this if I go back to insert quick parts and do it as a field so if I click on the field it works slightly differently click on author and I get more options so you can have it as uppercase lowercase capitalize the first letter or title case if I choose none it just picks it up is exactly as it's formatted in the file properties if I want to change it I can right click on it go into my...
