what's going on YouTube family it's your boy Mike the businessman here today all right guys so today's video I want to discuss your rental agreement okay now why did I pick this subject because I found out that actually a lot of people out there even some of my mentees have been guilty of this they actually rent Vehicles out it gets too excited when they have a client and they fail to follow their processes and procedures okay and one of those being making sure you have the right rental car agreements rental car agreements in place properly created by a lawyer I paid a lawyer over a thousand dollars from mine okay so I made sure it covered all my bases and I can't stress how important this is okay so a lot of them they skip that step and they go out they just collect money and they start renting out these cars with no rental agreement okay now there's several things that can happen that could go wrong here um not just uh legally but also in the event of an incident most importantly right so you could give renter could get into an accident first thing the insurance company asks for as a rental agreement okay they want to make sure that you have a rental agreement in place that they're insured that the renter actually signed um and that actually lists specifically lists certain data points that they want to see okay and I'm going to cover that throughout this video but um that's number one why it's so important number two is it also so to speak is a way of covering your behind right so your rental agreement will specifically have certain most it's it's it almost it's it's like if you worked in Corporate America right they have a Polish policies and procedures they have um you know starting at the highest level they have their policies then they have standards and procedures you know and then maybe on a department level they might have like their playbooks or handbooks right so your rental agreement is almost like that right and it's very important it got lines um your policies and procedures right or things that the the renter is is obligated to do right they're they're a side of the agreement the things that they must fulfill and any fees or penalties that might result where when they break those um those um so to speak those are the agreement all right so it's very important that you guys have that this in place otherwise you could expose yourself up to a lot of liability and so I'm going to kind of cover a few of the things that that you'd want to make sure is included in your rental agreement and it's not an exhaustive list at all and please guys this video is strictly for entertainment purposes I am not a lawyer um I am not a...
