hello everyone and thank you for joining again today this is Seth Green's carnival business development director for Tampa Bay and I wanted to talk to you about how easy it is to make a group booking so hopefully if you're joining today you've already decided that you want to dive into this area of booking groups booking group travel is a really great way to build your customer base as well as making it an easy way to manage multiple bookings in one space there are different amenities for booking groups and there are multiple types of groups that you can book with us the most popular type is in affinity so these are friends and family or fans of a specific celebrity or sporting event there's also business meetings full ship charter so a lot of different groups but for your typical affinity group the easiest way to do that is to go to go see CL and we've made it pretty simple so on the home screen you'll see in the center there's create a booking right here and then you can go through to create a group booking or if you hover at the top where the booking tab is and go down to create a booking here you'll also see group bookings so you're going to click here to create the group booking now you'll arrive at a screen that gives you the opportunity to search for your sailings so the easiest way to do that is to search for a date range specifically if you're not sure what the client is looking for you kind of wanted to get an idea of the different availability for our groups you can start by doing that here so click here to open the calendar and a quick little shortcut we found that an easy way to get to the sale date instead of scrolling through by these little arrows like this is you can click on the month and year here and then navigate over here to the different months in here so that you're looking for a lot quicker so let's say I want to look at October of 2020 give us a little bit of time to play with for today's demonstration I'll start with October 1st by default the system will give us a 30 day date range but you can also insert an end date that's up to 90 days away from the start date next you want to choose your group type so it will see affinity holiday or open promo open promotion is not really one of our desired groups some agencies do grab space try to sell into it but those are not usually the most successful so we would encourage you to choose an affinity group and if you're searching for a sailing that happens to be over holiday you need to make sure you click select holiday sailing or else the results will not show so click...
