today we're going to look at how to extend and change confirmation agreements the first thing we're going to do is take the view of a healthcare organization you can propose changes to confirmation agreements that are pending active or past but today we're just going to work with active assignments so if your mouse over to assignments and go to active under agreements you can bring up all your active conformation agreements so the first feature we have is to extend the confirmation agreement so if we press the extend button we can enter in a new date I'm going to put this out to the end of the year and then enter our password and submit it now we can see the new end date on the assignment December 31st 2016 if we want to make other changes to the confirmation agreements such as rate changes we click the confirmation agreement and then go down to propose changes we click that we will see all the fields are eligible to have proposed changes so we can change the rate say we've agreed to a new rate or add other details in the textbox bullet after you finish proposing all your changes you scroll down to the bottom enter your password and click Submit this will then propose the changes to whoever's on the other side of the agreement this feature is available to both healthcare organizations and vendors we can then review our proposed changes by scrolling down and clicking the review proposed changes button here we'll see details about all the changes we proposed and we can also cancel those proposed changes by clicking the cancel so now I'm going to switch over to the vendor view here we can see what it's like to receive proposed changes and how to accept or decline them so if we go over to our assignments tab and click active agreements we can find the agreement that we just proposed changes to we then click the confirmation agreement link to view the details down at the bottom we have the review proposed changes button again we click that and we can see exactly what's been proposed once it review those we can type in our password and then accept or decline those terms and that is the entire process for amending the confirmation agreement we can now see that the rates have been updated for this confirmation agreement the hourly rate is now 200 the overtime rate is 300 we go over the left and click history we can see the history of everything that's happened with this confirmation agreement from when it was extended to when changes were proposed and accepted and who signed off on those changes so this is a very useful source of information if you have any questions please use the chat box in the bottom right corner of locum smart or send us an email at support at logans martinet thanks and we look forward to hearing from you
