well let's cover payments in this short tutorial and in the payment module and contractor foreman you can see I'm in my payments here shows me payments over here and then here's my list view we have our standard keyword search we have our filter so I can filter this list out if I'm looking for something in particular so I can do by project customer or status and then we've got our card view Kanban view people call it different things or I can take a look at the statuses of all my payments I can set default views let's jump back to our list view and it'll pull up a payment so a couple of things I'm gonna jump around to a few different screens here because there's more than one way to really post a payment which makes it much easier because it saves saves a whole lot of clicking a lot of navigating etc but in the main payment screen it's all very kind of self-explanatory and simple and quick I'm just gonna give it what was it payment date the invoice so I'm going to select that list of invoices amount of the payment and how did I receive that payment cash check credit card or transfer some payment notes so card pending may be ending in the one-one-one there whatever you want to put in your notes then our approval status is pending review waiting for that maybe card to clear or now that has gone through so we marked it verified and then for your QuickBooks setup where do you want this deposited to into what account that's for the the QuickBooks setup now because we have an invoice here 391 for $5,800 it made a few payments that's going to show us our payment history so just right from one screen we kind of have everything really really that we need now jump over and I'm gonna actually go into invoices and I'm just gonna randomly grab one because many times is maybe you're working on an invoice you're handing a customer and invoice and hopefully they're gonna turn around and pay you right there so if I had just submitted this this invoice to a customer because I'm now I moved over to invoices as you can see and down here I don't have to if I take in payment I don't have to navigate all the way back to my payment I can just post a payment to that invoice so brings me up a box I record that payment and we're done so again saves numerous steps a lot of time navigating I don't have to go back to my payment module so pretty simple pretty straightforward clean fast easy to do like most of things in contract reform hope that helped if you have any questions on any of that give us a shout remember you've got your live chat up here so if you do have a...
