in this video I'm gonna walk you through how to add a credit card to your PayPal account adding a credit card to your account allows you to use it as a payment method when paying with your PayPal account not only can you use it to make purchases you can also use it to send money to friends family or whoever there's usually a fee associated with that though so keep that in mind let's go ahead and get started by logging into our PayPal account enter the email address followed by the password and then click login once inside the account go ahead and click the money tab located in the upper left hand corner and then scroll down to your cards section you'll see I don't have any cards in this account I'm gonna click the link and new card button once that page loads I'll go ahead and enter the credit card number and that'll detect that that's a Discover card I'll then enter the expiration date followed by the security code for a Discover card that's a three digit security code on the back and then I'll make sure that the address is correct for the card if it's not you'll have the ability here to add a new address but this address is correct so I'm gonna choose that and then I might click the link card button once complete you get a confirmation that the card number was linked go ahead and click done and you'll be returned back to your PayPal account go ahead and scroll down you'll see that my credit card is here and I can now use that to make purchases or send money that about does it for adding your credit card to your PayPal account thank you for using web starts and we'll see you next time
