do you want to know how to set up formula fields in DocuSign stay tuned hey guys welcome back to this channel it's sofiane here i'm a digital signature and worker automation consultant and today i'm going to show you how to set up very simple or more advanced formula fields in DocuSign by the end of this video you will know how to calculate dates as well as numbers so let's get started we are just going to assume that we are current or company sending this phone to our customers and so these customers need to make a choice between the car model that they want they also new need to tell us what color they want how long they want to book a car for and at the end the doc assigned envelope should tell them how much they are going to pay so the first thing that I want to do here is to either drop down so that my users can choose between the x3 or the x5 and the reason I don't use a radio button for this is because they don't allow you to assign a value to each option that can be used in a formula however dropdowns do so that's what I'm going to use now so I'm gonna click on edit values and add my first option and so the first option is BMW x3 at hundred thirty dollars per day and in the values here I'm gonna get rid of everything else except the actual amount and I'll do the same thing for the x5 so the x5 is $150 per day and get rid of everything else that drop down here should have been called daily rights because this is essentially where I'm getting my hundred and fifty or hundred thirty dollars per day from so daily right alright now let's do the color and just so that you understand why I didn't use a radio button on the previous example I'm gonna use it here and you'll see it's actually a bit harder I want to give a label to my radio buttons and so the first label will be black and the second will be white I'm gonna add the fields for the pickup and drop of dates I'm just gonna use a text box for those and I'm gonna go to validation here on the bottom right and select date I'm just gonna copy and paste that field and move it to the drop of dates because I want the same properties to be applied to that text box as well however I'm gonna go back to my pickup date field and give it a layer name a label pickup date and you can add spaces if you want to just I just don't do it and I'm gonna do the same thing for the drop off date field and call it the drop off date now I want to calculate the amount of days...
