[Music] hi there my name is Amy from check rent support and I'm gonna be showing you how to use the waivers and documents on so to start you're gonna want to go and enable it under manage add-ons you scroll down here you'll find that add-on and you can just click it and activate it and by doing that it will take you straight to the page where you can start creating some templates but if you want to find it later it's just under booking waivers and documents so you've got a couple different sidebar pages here so this is showing you all your sent and submitted documents all your active templates an activity log and this is where you can access your waivers electronically and get your customers to potentially sign them on an iPad or something and then right here is where we're gonna create a new waiver so I'm just going to just and as you can see it starts you off with a nice sample document where you can adjust and you know fill in the necessary information and over here on the right is where you can create the various fields of information that you want your customer to fill out so let's create any one here we'll do date of birth just a bit of your no label great and then by scrolling down you'll find these new fields that you've created and then just by putting your cursor where you'd like this to appear on the page you can click Add and there you go so the next thing you want to do is under configuration is assign this to a couple items so I'm just going to select all of them and hit save all right so now this document has been applied to all the items so let's go to the booking page and have a little look at what this looks like so we're gonna book this item here and just fill in some sample form information all right so now we have this the waiver and we're just gonna fill out this document with our name can do a sample signature and then this is the field that we just created perfect and then we submit the document and there you go that's a quick one through of how to use our waivers and documents add-on
