hello and welcome to the official Jess is blessed baby shower invitation if you clicked on this video it's probably because you are interested in the baby shower either way you're invited to join in with my virtual online baby shower one of my subscribers actually came up with this idea a couple months ago and I thought it was a fabulous idea and her idea was that any of you guys have sent me gifts I could do an online virtual baby shower a live baby shower and open all of the gifts that you guys send me so that you guys could watch me open them live I don't have any family and I don't have anyone throwing me a real baby shower the only one who could potentially do that would be my seventeen year old and I don't want to put that type of responsibility on her and so this is going to be my only baby shower and I wanted to share it with you guys and so I'm really excited to share this with you and I cannot wait did several online polls to figure out when the date was that would work for you guys and when you guys would like to have the virtual baby shower because after all you guys are going to be the ones attending it and everybody pretty much agreed the winning vote was leap day which is February 29th official baby shower date is February 29th 2020 and I chose for p.m. as the time because it's in the afternoon that would work for pretty much all time zones so that would be 2:00 p.m. Eastern 3 p.m. central 4:00 p.m. mountain and 5:00 p.m. Pacific and that is for US residents obviously if you're out of the country then it's going to be different times obviously according to where you live for my US resident it'll be in the afternoon so if you'd like to participate in the baby shower by sending a gift I did set up an Amazon baby registry originally I had set up a wish list as well but I have consolidated them to one list so it's just a baby registry now which is linked down below and it's also linked in all of my recent videos I have all different price range I on there and you don't need our address Amazon automatically sends them to us so it's really convenient really easy so if you'd like to order something for us for the baby shower and watch me open it order something for our new baby cruise if you're a justice blast subscriber or you just watch my videos if my videos have helped you over the years or helped you on your cloth diapering journey and you've ever wanted a way to support Jess's blessed or give back to Jess's bless or help us just celebrate our new baby then this would be an awesome way to do that I also plan on reviewing the baby items that are sent to us so obviously it doesn't just have to be cloth diapers although this is a cloth diapering channel primarily I would also like to review other baby items so I'm planning on reviewing any of the items that are bought for us so it also benefits you guys as well and so very quickly in case you're wondering what any of the items are that we still really need for baby we do still need some big-ticket items and a lot of our other bigger items got worn out or broken after using them for two babies in eighteen months and so some of the bigger items that we still really really need is a stroller car seat combo we really really really need a car seat obviously to take him home from the hospital we need a car seat and a stroller obviously is really nice to have along with that we also really need a baby bath or bathtub or one of those baths like peddle things that sits in this thing I would really like a ring sling or some sort of wrap or baby carriers so that I can carry crews around especially while I'm trying to multitask into a million other things with the kids the other big thing that we need is a bouncer or a swing gunner loved his swing so much that he used it so much that the motor actually burnt out and we have not had a swing since gunner was a baby now I'm going to pause really quickly if you're watching this video also for the scavenger hunt word the word for this video is baby shower so just write that down tuck it aside if you're watching for those words and you know what I'm talking about and if you don't then I would suggest going back and watching my previous videos to figure out what I'm talking about now on to smaller ticket items that we need for baby Cruz still he needs some hats we don't have any baby hats for him you know those cute little top knot hats our little beanie type hats just to keep his little head warm when he's brand new he needs some Swaddlers and some blankets we actually don't have like any newborn blankets at all or Swaddlers and I really like the muslin Swaddlers so we really need some of those we need baby towels and baby washcloths and we need baby clothes in sizes like three months to a year we do have baby clothes for a baby boy starting at about a year and we did get some newborn baby clothes for him but that range of about three months to a year we don't have a lot of baby clothes so those are smaller ticket items that we do need as well but if you can and you're willing and would like to contribute Amazon doesn't able it so that people can contribute smaller amounts to bigger ticket items so that it is all combined and then that item can be purchased so if just ten of you contributed twenty dollars towards say the stroller car seat combo then that could purchase that item for us so I would be forever grateful and appreciative if you guys could do that that is definitely one of the big stressors at the moment is getting a stroller in a car seat for well a car seat for him first and foremost so that would be number one definitely wishlist priority need for him and if you guys want to that would be great if you wanted to buy something smaller then that is also wonderful and appreciated I will be forever grateful for every single thing that is sent or contributed it means so so much to me and my family obviously anyone can watch the baby shower you don't have to purchase something to watch the baby shower everyone is invited and I would love to have all of you guys watch so please don't feel like you can only watch if you send something I would love to have all of you guys there with me and along with that I'm also asking if there's a couple people who would be willing to volunteer to be moderators during the baby shower just so that I can relax and enjoy opening the gifts and thanking people really enjoying the baby shower without feeling like I have to moderate the comment section for trolls that is the biggest stress for me regarding this [Music] [Music] and I had contemplated just filming opening all of the gifts and then editing it and uploading it because I didn't want to deal with that as Jess's list has grown the trolls have come in usually whenever there's a live video now trolls will come in it's just kind of part of the channel getting bigger but I don't want to deal with that during a live video so if there's a couple of you that would be willing to moderate for an hour or so I'm not sure exactly how long it will take but I'm gonna just estimate an hour if you would like to do that please send me an email I would greatly greatly appreciate that I know it's a lot to ask but I would really appreciate it especially if you're already planning on attending it will help relieve a lot of stress for me so so that is basically everything I'm really excited about this especially because it's the only baby shower I'm going to have I'm going to be sharing it with you guys and after it's over I have a bunch of videos planned like an updated newborn cloth diapers - video a video of what I packed for my hospital bag a bunch of different videos but I want to wait until after the baby shower just in case I get any of the items that I want to pack for the hospital and I know that there are a couple of you that are sending diapers and so I want to be able to include those in the newborn video so I'm going to wait until after the shower for some of those videos but there's definitely lots of good stuff coming up including a bunch of sponsored reviews and a collaboration with 5-minute cloth and so there's just a
