Add esigning Restructuring Agreement
As an eSignature administrator, you can use the Agreement Actions feature to automate common tasks when an envelope is completed. Including archiving documents in a cloud storage solution, exporting envelope data to a spreadsheet, triggering a DocuSign CLM workflow, or creating another DocuSign envelope. To begin, click Settings. Scroll down to Agreement Actions and click Connections. Click on Connect New App, select an application, and follow the prompts to connect it to DocuSign. Once your application is connected, scroll down to Agreement Actions, and click on Rule. You will add a rule to define what actions to take under what conditions. Provide a name for your rule and set the conditions for the action to execute. You can trigger an action when a specific value is entered in a custom field, an envelope is sent by a specific sender or to a specific recipient, and when a template is used. Next, choose whether the actions should execute when all or any of the conditions are met. In this example, the rule will execute on envelopes that contain the offer letter envelope custom field, or that were sent from the offer letter template. Under Add Actions, choose the actions to be taken for your completed envelopes. You can archive completed envelopes in a cloud storage solution and customize the action such as including the certificate of completion, combining the envelope content in a single zip file, and adding a file and folder name and path. You can also export the envelope data to a spreadsheet. A new row with the envelope data will be added on the sheet for each envelope that triggers the rule. If you are using DocuSign CLM, you can also start a DocuSign CLM workflow to trigger downstream approvals, processes, and tasks. Finally, you can create another envelope. Choose the template that will be used for the new envelope and map the roles between the two templates. You can also choose if you want to save the new envelope as a draft for future use or send it automatically. Click Save and your agreement rule will now execute anytime an envelope meeting the conditions is completed.
