well isabella's was my big idea is to open a car wash is it a product or a service a product is something you're actually selling and giving someone a service is something you do so for someone so i put service for a car wash is there a need for your business there is a need for my business because all cars are dirty from the rain period make sure you're using uppercase letters and punctuation at the end what makes your idea unique unique is another way to say special why is your business going to be so special my idea is unique because no one else has one in my neighborhood isabella has a car wash but noah none of her other neighbors have one will people want or need to buy it people will start to buy it because their cars are dirty so everyone needs their car cleaned so she saw a need in her neighborhood notice how i'm writing in complete sentences over here in the teal writing who will be your target audience kids adults athletes gamers i will be targeting adults because they are old enough to buy cars and if you don't have a car you can't get a car wash how will you get the word out about your business signs online word of mouth i will get the word out by making signs and having my friend's mom tell people so she's using word of mouth draw an example to promote your business i took a screenshot of isabella's car wash she used a sign taped to a tree to promote her business in her neighborhood what was the name of her business isabella's car wash what does the name say about you and what you're selling this one's simple it's her name and what she's selling the business title has my name and what my service is what will you need to buy before you get started the book said she needed special soap and chamois what other materials or equipment do you need i will also need a bucket a garden hose paper markers tape and string i did notice that one sentence here isn't in a complete sentence so make sure you change that if it asks what will you need to buy before you start it you can start your sentence that way i will need to buy special soap and some chamois and make sure you put your punctuation at the end period next up how much will it cost you to start your business what are your startup costs i will need five dollars to start my business because i will need to buy some supplies where will you get the money to start your business if this is to cover your startup costs will you get a loan ask your family dip into your savings i will borrow the money from five of my friends i will borrow one dollar from each of them do you have any competitors someone that's doing the same business the book didn't talk about another car wash happening anywhere near so i do not think i have competitors close to me there is a car wash down the street because she's not the only car wash in the whole area why would you be good at this business well isabella told us in the book i will be good at this business because i help my brother wash his cars all the time i am a hard worker what is the cost of making your product service well it costs her about 20 cents because she needed about five dollars to start her business and she washed about 20 cars how much will you charge for your service or product she charged one dollar per wash what will your profit be you can see i added it up one dollar to charge costs about 20 cents that means she's making about 80 cents every car wash design a logo well she doesn't have a logo for the book but think about what would be in her logo a shiny car maybe suds and bubbles something like that would that would tell you she's washing cars what are your big plans her big plans were to buy a nelly longhair doll i'm going to take this part here and make it a longer sentence like i plan to use my profit to buy a nelly longhair doll next up if you actually make your product at home we want to see it so make sure you put a picture or post a little video here of you actually making your product maybe you're making cookies for your family maybe you're doing chores around the house like cleaning maybe you're doing something like pet rocks or paper books or gaming trading cards think about the stuff you have around your house you don't need to go out and buy anything really crazy because you can do lots of different businesses right in your home once you're done use the template and start your own business you are not doing this for isabella's car wash i did one for her so that you could see an example of a completed business plan now it's time for you to get to work and check out what kind of
