house to up in the attic and it'll be another duct off the top of the furnace going into the attic so you'll see you know I'm furnace in it get 12 inch duct next to it so I won't take out too much space we can make it work in that room it reason I want to put it in that room is because it's easy access for electrical and gas refrigerant lines and drains and flus can pop the PVC flue pipes can pop right up straight up through the ceiling into the roof so that's why she chose that area there's other ways to do this but they can have packaged units which is a heating cooling unit sitting outside your house and then duct through the side with that the only problem with those is that they're not very efficient on the heating I'm the only 80% efficient let's see you get one of these newfangled ones and they get real expensive but you know it's a little easier job if I do the package unit so I can compare the cost line out if you wanted to do that outside your package unit we're still gonna have to have two ducts going up through the laundry room so I recommend the split system with the air conditioning outside like you see it a lot of houses and the furnace in the laundry room we can also the furnace could also go sideways horizontally under to the house or in the attic or a package unit on the roof on an adjustable curve those are other options I'm just I'm choosing kind of the best one you don't lose too much space that's the way I'm thinking about it so you guys could talk about this I just wanted to do a little video so because you know who goes so far and just to kind of hopefully answer so you're not confused two to three different options that will be slick systems okay first I've got this the big bad doubt system fully central heating and air system includes everything all the bells and whistles 95% AFUE variable speed two stage furnaces i efficiency that's what i have in my house and you don't even hear this thing run it's so cool it just ramps up and wraps towns and needs it only kicks into high plank when the house is like you know five degrees colder than then you got it set up so you just came home on cut around the evenings freezing in there after five minutes it'll be pumping on to high high speed high speed fan and hide burner flame 95% means that only 5% of your heat is wasted to the flute this would also include a 16 seer condensing unit that's just an energy rating the minimum ratings are 13 seer for California so 16 seer less electricity bigger unit it's at 16 seer is probably 3 foot square and about 4 feet high is a monster this this big bad dog system also includes electronic air cleaner which would be mounted at the furnace on top of the furnace because our return air is coming straight down to the top it's gonna be a Down shot system air flow goes down supply plenum under the house under the furnace and then we're gonna elbow up off that plenum straight next to the side of the furnace with a damper that will go shoot over to your entertainment room this also this package also includes a dual zone which would be two thermostats honeywell's one in the living room or hallway or Ovie's decide to put it which will be the main control for the whole house and one in the entertainment room which will operate as it needs so you just wanted to shut that room off you weren't using it you know you just turn the thermostat off or if you if you wanted to just heat up that room or just cool that room you could leave the other part of the house off I kind of want to separate those two that the entertainment room is going to have a separate return air as well as two high side wall supply bins that should do it and somehow I'm gonna try to kick over and drop something in that little bathroom to the other suppliers will be one in each room or maybe 2/3 to the size of the room so you get a nice duct design that's our specialty to have even airflow so your house doesn't have hot and cold spots we do our own inspections here so I didn't want to sell you the two-stage outdoor air-conditioning unit because you know I don't think you'll be using it that much a few hot days here and there so this is a good kick-ass system this is better than what I have in my house I don't have the electronic air cleaner electronic air cleaners awesome it really and they they're real super easy to maintain you have a couple of steel mesh filters that you pull out there pre-filters you just wash them now you wash them in a kitchen sink soak a little soap wash them off stick when I can't then like once once or twice a year will pull the whole cells out and give them a special cleaning make it attract everything so they kills odors it doesn't leave a speck of dust through your whole system I can open up your furnace in ten years and then be spotless if everything's sealed right like it's gonna be so they're awesome so the dual zone we went through all that so this is the big bad boy here and it's a great price because it's I priced it really low okay let's go to the next one here I got your very speciality this is a good system we're dropping down a little of efficiency of the furnace which is doesn't mean to squat it's also variable speed two-stage I like these because they're the condensing furnaces they're quiet the variable speed is awesome because you don't hear them motor jamming on it just kind of ramps up and down and you don't feel the blast of air cold air coming out of the vents like you would on normal furnace so this is also a great furnace the outdoor unit for the air conditioners 13 seer the minimum efficiency it's what I have in my house but include a respite care 24 volt electronic air cleaner at the filter grille of a hallway ceiling so then once every couple months you need to pull that apart vacuum it up and change these little white media pads that go in here and I get you a couple bags of those to go with it so this is a single zone system we're just gonna have one thermostat in the living room and what I'll do is I'll put a manual adjustable damper next to the furnace that will adjust your airflow to the inner cage let's go the next one okay this is a basic heat only system so we'll put central heating in your house basically and this is a bottom-of-the-line contractor tract home and a slam thing 80% furnace so 20% of your energy is going up the flue pipe though these will have a steel flue pipe if they get hot but we'll run double wall pipe up to the attic oh I'd recommend the to the two-speed two-stage furnace on this 80% could get a little better efficiency when your because you've got the high and low speed burners fan as well but you get that rush of air and so don't like that same thing or we're not having an outdoor unit we're not having any refrigerant lines we're not having the drain where we're only gonna put it up evaporator coil which goes on to the furnace it's gonna be your cooling coil so that if you ever want to add on we can run refrigerant lines and you can run 220 outside and a pad and put an outdoor unit so you can have air conditionings that way it's the structure is is prepped also include the same filter in the hallway same one thermostat saying damper manual adjust so there you have it there's a few choices for you and I am we're getting kind of limited here's your price in there this is uh this is cash price I drop about twenty five hundred dollars for family and for CEO D so these are the prices and the terms it's how we usually do it 50% down when we bring everything over there and we can set up a staging area in the back yard or something tarp everything up did we get out there now or whatever you decide one of you I wouldn't use a swamp I wouldn't do a heating only system and use a swamp cooler I just wouldn't do that because you know you're bringing in that outside air I don't know how fresh to this we want to have good indoor air quality so the way to go really is with that the big dog does that's an ionizer system and also people with breathing problems and get animals and stuff so I want to get that on my system there's also other options like he can add if you're concerned with the air quality you can have these ultraviolet bulbs I've added features for all that stuff hmm our availability to do this job it's like we can do it right away it'd be nice just we're pretty booked up this month and we get to go to San Diego I'm doing a little chop for new era as well and I got another job up here and back down the street from me for a buddy so and then we're going
