so you've been hearing all about this new app clubhouse and you still haven't gotten an invite well in today's video i'm going to give you some tips to help you finally get in what's up y'all welcome back to the channel if you're new around here i'm nakisha welcome to the winning team around here i give you tips and tools to help you build a profitable blog and today we're talking about clubhouse girl yes i told you guys in the last video how popping this app was how amazing and i still stand ten toes down on that same concept i know it seems like people are having different experiences on the app but mine has been nothing but amazing and today i want to talk about how you can finally get your invite so you can get over here and get into the conversation so what is clubhouse clubhouse is a drop-in audio social media app that was just created back in april and it's still in its beta stages right now now the app is currently ios only it's ios only i know there's been some confusion around that and people saying oh i have android and i have it listen according to joinclubhouse.com which is the official website for the clubhouse app it is only available on the app store for apple devices that's the only option it gives you when you go go to their website so if you have seen other things i know people down in my comments on the previous video were saying well i have an android and i have it if you look in the google play store my children have samsung devices and i went to the play store myself and i seen this app come up which is by somebody called clubhouseltd no the makers of the clubhouse app is alpha explorations co and this is what the icon should look like and this is what it should look like when you download it if you have downloaded any other app or anything like that that's not the app that's not the right thing we have got to be super super careful out here in these online streets with downloading stuff and putting our information and things um i went through the reviews on that app for the android and they were terrible if you look at the reviews for the actual clubhouse app there are forty thousand plus five star ratings and it's currently number six in the app store make sure you are downloading the proper app i am talking about clubhouse the drop-in audio app okay so that i wanted to go ahead and clear that up if you have additional information and you know you know something i don't know please let us know but as of right now today is what december the 20th this is currently for ios devices only okay okay so once you have your ios device go ahead and download the app from the app store you want to do this because you want to go ahead and reserve your actual username right so it will give you the option to type in your name and it will add you to the waiting list so you'll get this screen that says great we're gonna hold your name for you and place you on the waiting list now the reason why i will go ahead and do this is because sometimes when you go ahead and reserve that username if you have any friends or family member in your phone that currently is on the clubhouse app they get a notification that you have signed up on the waiting list and they can simply bring you on in okay sometimes it may take a little bit longer for people to notice or maybe someone you know gets invited by someone else and then they see that you're there you know and that they can extend the invitation to you so be patient be patient with this i've heard people say they've got in in a day the same day you know two days some a week you know it really just depends on what your friend group is like okay it really just depends on your friend group right now i know there are a lot of things happening in the app but a lot my friend group all of us you know our business owners a lot of my um people that i network with online so the people that i follow or that have me in their phone most of them were on which i'm gonna talk about that in a second um so i did not automatically get invited by a friend or family member right i'm like okay i signed up i reserved my name and i'm like okay i don't no one's inviting me so what's going on but i was patient right and so my second tip is to make it known that you want to be invited that you want to be on the app so i was like okay your girl is not getting invited what am i gonna do so i immediately went to um my mastermind group we have a facebook group and i just was having a very weird day you know i was a little frustrated about a few things and i just was you know making jokes as i'm always doing and i simply wrote a um i wrote a uh what do you call it not a caption but you know i wrote on the wall in the facebook page and i simply said does anybody have a uh does anybody have a clubhouse invite or a playstation 5 that your girl can have because i could take the rest of the year off but no i'm out here being thirsty for one of the two again then i say hahaha good morning y'all or something like that i mean a few short minutes later somebody came through like yeah girl i gotta invite what you know and i was just like oh okay cool and she invited me in and the rest is history so make it known that you want to be invited go in facebook groups if you have them if you have friends that may have friends that are into social media maybe ask around but what i do not recommend you all is to be asking just out here on a youtube comment you know under someone's video like oh give me an invite or because people take advantage you know what i'm saying and i personally just would not be taking invites from anybody because the people the person needs your freaking phone number your real life phone number to invite you in the app and i'm just not going to give out my phone number to anybody like that and y'all we just have to be stay diligent and be careful out here in these online streets giving out our personal information so i would ask close friends i would ask you know if your friend can recommend you but just don't be so thirsty for the invite that you will give your personal information out to a complete stranger don't do that uh-uh don't do that so if all else fails listen just wait this thing out um they're going to be opening up the waitlist as soon as they launch this thing public we don't know what it's going to be you can check out their website for more facts on the app and kind of find out what's going on just to stay abreast of conversations maybe go follow them over on twitter get on their instagram or something like that and just go to networking within the communities of theirs that you can um access right maybe you'll make friends with somebody spark a conversation um with somebody that you know seem that may be nice or whatever and be willing to invite you in because networking is real out here y'all know i always tell you you know create those relationships create good relationships i'm not talking about just complete strangers out the clear blue sky you know what i'm saying but create relationships and once you kind of establish something with someone maybe somebody will be willing to um invite you in and then if you're someone that's already in the app listen if you engage and just jump right in um with clubhouse you will get granted more invites to where you can invite more people um i've already dove right in i actually just got off um a homeschool chat this morning i'm doing a millennial mom chat this evening i'm doing another one about being a stay-at-home mom later in the week and then i'm start starting my mompreneur mondays on next monday um so jump right in the more you engage the more you get up on stage the more you host rooms you will get extended more invites so you can um bring your friends and family members and all that into this amazing space and if you don't see the opportunity right now i just want you to you know change your mindset a little bit and think of the opportunities that this could bring to your business obviously i know that everything is not for everybody but i do see opportunity right now um just for building community and collabing and just so many other amazing things with clubhouse if you're not in yet be patient it is coming soon um stay diligent though over your personal information if you like this video like it subscribe if you
