hey everybody this is Tony with Derek Abner insurance and this is a quick instructional video on how to sign up for progressives paperless policy and ecig mature these two things represent a major discount on your progressive policy so we want to make sure everybody knows how to do it alright so as soon as I start your policy you're gonna get an email from progressive you're gonna select register online like I just did here in the video your user ID and password have been sent to you along with your ID cards when I sent them to you as soon as I started your policy user ID is always going to be your policy number and your password is going to be any variation of four uppercase letters and the first five digits of the policyholders social security number so the first name insured their first five digits of the Social and then any variation of four letters once you do that you're going to select login it's going to take you to set up your account and then you're gonna have to create your own user ID and password so you can put whatever you want there do something that you'll remember as far as your password is concerned again this is this can be whatever you want and I suggest using something that you you have your password for other things that you use has to be eight characters one letter and one number it's pretty easy after that you're gonna have to do two security questions they serve these questions can range from what is your mother's maiden name what's your pet's name just select whatever you want and for your answer just select something that you will remember and this is just in case you get locked out of your account it's going to ask you these security questions so again make sure it's something that you'll remember it's gonna have you put in the information twice for each answer and then once you do that you're going to select the box that says agree to the terms and conditions and then create your account once you do that it's going to take you straight to your policy you can view documents you can look at coverages you much anything but in this case I need you to click on sign policy documents it's going to take you to this page this yellow block box up top quick get started and get started again alright as soon as you do that it's going to take you to this page to make sure that you're able to zoom in so I'll put two fingers on the screen and spread them apart and you should be able to zoom in and you'll be able to see that word you're gonna have to type that word in the box just to verify that you can see it because you're going to be able to need to do that here in the on the next couple pages so you put put the word in click continue first document you need to sign is your application your application has all of your coverages your the names on the policy pretty much all the pertinent information of your policy type in the name that's at the very bottom in that box alright doing it for this client here has to match that name so once you do that you click continue it's going to take you to the next document the next document is just an acknowledgement form for your policy notice so there's nothing to sign here it's just scroll down to the bottom where click continue alright and that's going to take you to three or four documents it's going to the third document is your acknowledgement of your authorization for your EFT so the automatic payments that come out of your account every month or off your card every month you have to acknowledge that type your name in the box click continue that last form is just a Terms & Conditions form you select that box and click continue and that's it you're done like I said it takes about three minutes to complete but again it's very important if you don't do this you will lose a discount on your policy if you have any questions feel free to call us at six one four seven three three eight six three oh thanks guys
