hey guys my name is Amy white welcome back to my channel today I'm gonna show you guys a really quick and easy way to make a consultation guide to score your 20/20 dream client thank me later anyway it's really quick and easy you don't need a really crazy expensive computer program and I've been using this for about two years now and it's worked wonders for me so I'm gonna show you a few tweaks that I've made like this is one of my favorite shirts but if a button pops out I'm sorry big blue props okay okay so if you're watching this video chances are you plan on going on consultations or you're already going on consultations and they're not going that smoothly or maybe you only hear back from half of them but I'm gonna help you guys out because lugging around a 30 pound portfolio of all of your work we don't need it anymore do you see health Jen this is like it's a lifesaver I can throw this in my purse and keep it moving so this is especially also useful if you left a firm and you can do all the work but you can't technically like load up that firm's work on your website so this is a really great way to show your clients what you can do and then really just leave on your personality which is the reason you're there in the first place and changes are they've already checked out you're instagramming your website so we don't really need to reshow everything that they can find online so let's get into it alright alright so I did all of this in PowerPoint again not very expensive if you don't already have it downloaded just go to the Microsoft suite website get it downloaded to your computer I think it also comes with word and a few other programs that you may or may not ever use again but everyone knows PowerPoint I didn't do anything crazy I promise you can handle it okay so I slapped my logo in the middle of the page simple enough consultation guide 20/20 not gonna spend a ton of time on this not very exciting second and third page part of my design process in the beginning is just regurgitating what the client tells me they like so I'm just spitting on images and walking them through what the beginning of the design process working with me looks like do you guys might have something different feel free to copy DM message me if you guys have any questions about those but pretty straightforward I put a typical scope of work in the beginning just because I want to talk through what they can expect from me as their designer and then I'm heavy on design drawings and AutoCAD elevations and plans and all those technical details so I tend to put a lot of those drawings in my consultation...
