letti again here from job progress and now we are going to move into our contract or proposal creation part of the process so where we left off we were in right estimate slash contract just to recap we already went into estimating we applied our measurements we created our macro and we went got our total job price which we can now find on the left hand side under financials so we know that this roof systems going to be eleven thousand six hundred forty-four dollars and 89 cents based off of our material and labor cost and then an applied profit margin or markup so our next step is going to be to go ahead and click on formal proposals on the left hand side we're going to choose our create option and there's several different types of proposals that can be created inside a job Progress so a choose template would just be a single page custom template contract typically if you were using your own contracts that were a hardcopy we create them in the system and then you could go ahead and take advantage of that merge would be if it was multiple pages so my guys are doing commercial roofing and add 15 20 page bids they would use their choose merge and then of course you have your form proposal worksheet which is going to be very similar to the estimating worksheet that we were just looking at and is going to be reminiscent of you know your line item style that you would get out of QuickBooks let's say or some of the other programs that use that line item style estimating it proposals so for this demonstration we're going to go ahead and we're gonna do our choose merge and you see here that I already have my tamko contract built out for me so I'm doing a tamko roof systems what I estimated with I'm just gonna click into that option hit my create button and now it's going to open up into my proposal creation viewer so from here my screen is split on the left and right if I need to access any important information that's already been entered into the system I have the ability to do so otherwise I can go ahead and hit my gray arrows in the center choosing my one pointing to the left it's going to make my template full screen so from here you see we auto populate with all of our customer information anything that did need to be entered in here I can go ahead and enter in edit this make my changes maybe there's going to be an upgrade let's say that gutters upgrade and of course we have our signature boxes as well as the information for our shingle colors they were doing what employed this is our first page if we need to get to our additional pages on the left hand side you've got this blue arrow and if we click that oh is it not gonna let me click it this would - let us go to our additional pages but now it's not going to so give me one second guys here we go because of my screen recording it was in the way so I do apologize for that but quickly now we can navigate to your additional pages you see here that you have your table element we can customize contracts to fit your specific needs whatever they may be so now if we were adding our gutters and here on the last minute maybe that's gonna be 1250 you can go ahead and throw that in there and you'll see if that's going to auto populate into your price for you so same thing with your additional pages after that whatever it may be original and likes to throw in some images here showing them exactly what's being done once we're done we can go ahead and hit our Save button up in the top right corner and now we have our saved contracts so the pricing that was in there was pulled directly from our estimate anything additional that we added in you see that on using that table we were able to calculate that additional cost to the side of there and once we save it it's gonna say under forms of proposals with this nice baby puke green color in the top left corner and basically that means that it's recognized as a draft so this wasn't emailed out it wasn't viewed it wasn't accepted yet it's just been created it's sitting as a draft once we want to go ahead and email that you click your three vertical dots underneath that file we go ahead and choose email form slash proposal and now you can have this use the pre created template for your email or of course use your double squares down at the bottom select your email template that you've created and now it'll populate with whatever information you have in there so of course you know you can go ahead and take advantage of whatever you need to take advantage of in the system creating estimate templates attaching files emailing as well as the email history all through job Progress so once we're done we're gonna go ahead and hit our Save button son button I apologize and if i refresh my screen now we see that a proposal was sent because we are matching our golden yellow color so very quickly if I was the homeowner I could pull up in my email here and I'm just on my other screen bear with me here we are nice little email comes in from job progress as the homeowner I can click here to view and now it's going to show me that proposal contractor bid that I created and emailed over so as the homeowner I have the ability to see all this information I can review it ok yep yeah that looks good whenever I'm ready to sign it I can go ahead and hit that accept button and now I can sign my contract directly from my mobile device my website time with the mouse or even type in my name accept it and now we just want a job well let's say that's not what happens let's say that isn't the scenario and let's say that we know that they viewed it maybe we called them and they said can you reach out to us in three weeks you know we're going to Disneyland with the family ok not a problem for one we know it was viewed it's got that nice indigo color in the top left corner but I would come to my job overview and I want to set it and forget it and we're gonna use a tool called your follow-up tasks and reminders so when in doubt plus it out we're gonna hit our plus on our Add button we're gonna go ahead and choose follow-up notes and now I'm gonna take advantage of the follow-up notes and reminders inside a child progress that this way I can go ahead and type in family going to Disney all in three weeks I could choose my reminder and then of course I could select my user whoever that may be it's actually pump this up a little bit there we go once I hit my Save button I can set it and forget it because the system's gonna automatically notify me the day this needs to be completed and any information are you just going to show up down the bottom of my screen so once you create a fault reminder or a task inside of the system you're the ability to market has completed once that's done that's going to immediately notify the individual who had set that task for you give your job knows that you could also enter in here so when you're on site when you were doing your estimate maybe you're entering in that information as well as your specific work through notes which can be anything you know be careful with garden beware a dog park trucks on the left side of the driveway anything that you want to add in there you have the ability to do so so we come back into forms of proposals now we just went ahead and got that reminder to fault with the homeowner they asked us to redeem a lit beautiful we did finally they came in and they accepted it so they accepted it they sign it accept proposal they have the ability to print it and download it right from there they now see if they've accepted this contract and of course if we come back into your system we're gonna recognize the same move on over to estimate accepted and now everybody knows exactly where we are in the process if we comes in two forms of proposals we see our accepted and signed contract right in front of us and then of course as always you can use your reports to look at your proposal status report and find out the exact listing of all the number of proposals that are out there so this way you can see sent viewed accepted rejected regardless of your creation date what time frame that you're looking for as well as what users you want to see those proposals for when it comes to the custom contracts we definitely encourage to continue using your branding we love the templates inside of job Progress you love the ability that attracts these emails for you these are all things that are going to help you remain organized you guys are already successful you're already doing your thing there's just tools that are being put in place to help you to continue to grow you know for the next guys you continue to hire more people or bring more people on or take in more jobs now you have a location to keep track of all those contracts have that history saved in one centralized spot and then have the ability to access it whether they're out in the field whether you're at home
