if you want to learn more on how to watermark your images then stay tuned this videos for you I recently created a video on how to add copyright information to your images using your camera now if you haven't seen that video I'll post a link below as to where you can watch that now based on that video I received a lot of questions and comments about watermarks and many of you have asked well if you add copyright information to the image will that prevent someone from stealing it no it won't so people can still steal that image but it is one step you can take to help prove ownership if your image gets out and it's used without your permission well what's something else you can do well that's watermarking that's what this video is all about I'm gonna demo exactly how to watermark this image now I want you to understand something though it's kind of like walking a fine line here if you overindulge in the watermark you may obstruct the viewing of that image so you want to ensure that you watermark but you don't want to overdo it and at the same time if you put that watermark in one of the corners it can easily be cropped out so I'm gonna step through exactly how we can watermark and how you can manipulate the transparency and all that good stuff now as many of you know I do a lot of post-processing using Adobe Lightroom now Adobe Lightroom has a plugin called more graph I I'll post a link below as to where you can get that as well but understand that that particular plugin I don't think is really supported anymore it might be but it's relatively cryptic and old although it does the trick now when I'm not using that I like to use another program called you mark now I really like you mark and I've reached out to the developers of this program because I had a handful of questions and they've reached back to me and they said hey tell you what we're gonna do we're gonna offer your subscribers a 20% discount now I want you to understand before we get into this that this program is free so they have a free version they have a pro version the free version will work well you can still do watermarks with it but there are a few key features left off now you'll be able to use all the features for 14 days then after that I think the trial version kind of ends on the pro features and then you end up with the free version so it's just something to think about now a post a link below as to where you can get you mark I'm gonna also post that discount code that they gave us to use so it's something to keep in mind if you did want to buy...
