try this what's up money geeks me here welcome to another video guys so in today's video i wanted to talk about my top lithium etfs again i want you to consider investing in lithium because lithium is why most of the electric vehicles are going to be using to build their batteries so we have gone through a laundry list of different companies that are coming out or start-ups that are coming out uh telling us that they can start building their own cars or building batteries for electric vehicles but if you look at what's in common to all those cars it's the battery and lithium is the main component of those batteries so i want you to get some exposure into lithium companies in this case if you compare this to something like exxon and bp i want you to have the equivalence of that but in electric space which are the companies that are producing the lithium that is used to build batteries so that's what i wanted to cover today but i've actually gone through with a video where i showed you my top five lithium companies but if you don't have time to research or to buy all those companies you can buy an etf which is an exchange traded funds that allows you again exposure to all these other companies while minimizing your risk so that's what we're going to cover in today's video but before we get started guys if you're new to the channel we talk about how to earn money how to save money how to invest and build wealth so if you got something that interests you go ahead and hit that subscribe button and the notification bell so you don't miss out on new content so again exchange traded funds are used for you to get some diversification in your portfolio while minimizing your risk and so for in this case we're going after a specific sector which is electric vehicles and all these vehicles have um lithium batteries and you have suppliers there are somewhere in the united states in asia different companies that supply this this lithium to this company so which one should you invest in you can invest in all by buying an etf so the first one is global x lithium and battery tech etfs so global x lithium and battery tech etf invest in a range of companies that produce lithium and make lithium-based batteries therefore providing exposure to both lithium and battery market which is great so you want that balance so over 70 of its investments are in the asian companies so this is the again this me this is one that's scary a little bit the fact that 70 of the investments are in asian companies i don't really like that but majority of the lithium that you see is sourced from asia so tesla gets you have lithium from asia and so there's other companies in the united states that are starting to come up in in australia and the uk so i want to see those guys coming and as the demand for lithium goes up you're going to see more and more companies start popping up in and getting into the game so again this is the top the list of the top companies so if you see the first one here at 10.45 in the portfolio is um i'll be marley and that's one that i covered again guys back when i did a video uh about my top five uh lithium stocks so you guys definitely go check that when you see tesla's in the lg chem uh byd and all these other companies so definitely go check them out number two is their battery tech and lithium ac dc so these are particularly etf again invest in companies all around the world like i said from asia to europe to south america to australia and in the united states but again majority of their portfolio is actually chinese or asian-based companies just because for some reason lithium is really um mine it's highly mined in those in that part of the world so if you look here some of these companies that you saw in the first one up here in here like tesla like byd again that is you can choose between these two atf you don't need to buy both of them because they kind of give you even about the same exposure in the market so again guys the reason why i want you to consider looking into etf is that if you don't have the time to research all these other lithium companies individually these guys have already done the research and that's why they're putting all these companies in the etf so you can just buy that etf and let it go and these guys would move and add different companies into the etfs as they see the performance so if they see a company that's not really performing you need to kick that one out and bring in another company that it's performing at just standard so that's something they want to see and how do you choose between the two etfs the best way to do it is to look at their performance look at their rate of return so look at five years rate of return five or ten years how has this particular etf been performing if the rate of performance is better for one than the other one and then that's the one you go with because obviously they know what they're doing and they're selecting a better uh lithium company so that is the way that i would approach it so that's my top uh lithium etf that i wanted to share with you guys again if you don't have time to research all individual companies etfs are the way to go but there's a downside here the rate of returns with etf is not as great as you would have with individual stocks but the your risk factor with etfs is relatively low compared to individual stocks so that's something that you want to keep in mind again guys if you're new to the channel we talk about how to earn money how to save money how to invest and build wealth and if that's something that interests you go ahead and smash that like button any notification bell so you don't miss out on your content and as always guys always make sure you do your homework don't be really savage and stay [Applause] motivated [Music] you
