In this video, we will show you how to navigate the ETSU Parking Services system in order to appeal a parking citation. Before getting started, it's important to know that information concerning ticket appeals is listed on the back of your citation. Citations must be appealed within 30 days of the ticket's issue date. Individuals wishing to appeal their citation in person must specify this on their online appeal or contact the Parking Services office. In order to file an online appeal, please visit the ETSU Parking Services website at www.etsu.edu/fa/fs/parking. On our homepage, please click on the Appeal Process tab on the left side of your screen. Read the appeal process information section at the top of the page and click the link provided to proceed with filling out your online appeal. Faculty, staff, and students, will login on the right side of the screen with their ETSU username and password. This is the username and password you use to logon to all campus computers and your campus email. Visitors may login as a guest on the left side of the screen. Faculty, staff, and students may see a slightly different screen on the next page. However, all should pick appeal ticket from the choices provided. The next screen asks for information about you and your citation. Citation specific information can be found on the front of your ticket. Please make sure to include all required information. Double check your email address as this is where the committee's decision will be sent. If you do not have a decal number, you may enter the word none in that box. After you have filled in all required fields, please click continue. You will enter the citation number and the violations listed on the ticket on the next screen. Remember your citation number and violations may be found on the front of the ticket. Enter your citation number and then choose a violation from the drop down menu. After you have chosen your violation, you must click the add citation button to continue. You may enter multiple citation numbers or multiple violations per citation number on one appeal. Simply remember to click add citation after each entry. Once you have entered each ticket number and violation you wish to appeal and have clicked the add citation button after each entry, simply press the continue button to move to the next screen. Now it's time to tell the Appeal's Committee why you feel your citation not justified. Please summarize your appeal reasoning and attach any documents or photos for the committee's review. You may attach relevant photos or documents for the committee's review by clicking choose file. Find the file on the computer and then click add file to make sure it is added to your appeal.
