welcome to the state of Georgia performance management program elearning module 6 completing the employee evaluation provided by the Department of Administrative Services human resources administration the following 11 slides will assist you in your role as a manager and teach you how to complete an evaluation for an employee once the document has been approved by HR this system generated email will be received by both the manager and employee stating the document has been approved and is ready to review and comment note your email address must be entered into self-service personal information email addresses in order to receive the system generated email notifications the manager will now scheduled the performance review meeting with the employee after the meeting the employee can acknowledge their performance evaluation the acknowledgement indicates the employees electronic signature which validates that they have met with their manager regarding their performance evaluation once the employee acknowledges the performance evaluation the manager will receive a system-generated email stating the employee has acknowledged their performance evaluation now the manager can access the system to finalize the employees document once you have logged in navigate to inflict manager self-service then click performance management next click performance documents and then current documents choose the employee performance evaluation you would like to complete click the annual performance review link by the employee's name within the document progress you will notice the status of the complete manager evaluation is now acknowledged the acknowledged status indicates the employee has electronically signed the evaluation the next action is for the manager to click complete which will finalize the evaluation now click complete to access the performance evaluation at this time the manager can make additional remarks regarding the employees performance from the review meeting held the manager can now click complete to finalize the performance evaluation click complete to confirm the action click OK once the evaluation is completed the system will return to the document details if you re-enter the document and scroll to the bottom in the audit history you will notice the electronic signatures acknowledged by will list the employee's name completed by will list the managers name as well as the time and date stamp of completion now click return to document detail the complete manager evaluation status is completed as well as the document status you have successfully finalized a performance evaluation this concludes module 6 completing an evaluation
