welcome to Tekken 2 by the Blue Valley EdTech team email signatures provide recipients with brief professional or academic information about the sender this tutorial will help you to create a basic academic signature to begin you will need to log in to your Blue Valley student email account in your email account click on the settings wheel in the top right corner of your screen this will open your settings option on the left side of your screen underneath the heading layout you will see email signature select this link check both boxes above the text box to automatically include your signature on all emails next click in the text box to create your signature the first line of your signature will include your first and last name type your name into the text box below your name type out your school's name as the guide line use your school's full name instead of the initials this makes it clear to email recipients who may be outside of your building you can customize your font type color or size by using the menu bar at the top of your text box when customizing make sure to follow some guidelines your font size should be between 12 and 14 make sure to use a legible font and select a color that is easy to read and doesn't distract your reader from your email for example yellow would not be a good choice you sometimes email signatures include an academic image such as your school logo or a digital badge if you would like to add this to your signature continue watching this video if you choose for your signature to only have your first and last name and school you may click save and logout if you choose to add an image to your signature first make sure the image is saved in your documents to add an image select the picture icon from the text box menu find the file in the folder where you saved it select insert you can change the size of the picture by clicking on the image and then stretching or shrinking the sides of the image you have now created an email signature select save near the top of your screen and logout you can log back in to your email account and make changes to your signature under the settings option at any time for more information about student email visit the Blue Valley EdTech page
