good morning vlog happy thursday today is thursday january 27th and we are doing something very exciting so i wanted to bring you guys along for this fun process but also document this process for other people so that even if this doesn't work out for us it kind of gives you an insight on how this process works and what goes into it so so sorry about the lighting um i had to wake up at 5 45 this morning and get ready um to come to the animal welfare animal welfare center and basically it's because we check the um pound website every single day and wait for a puppy to get on there um not that i have anything against older dogs but it's very hard to bring an older dog into the house when you have other animals so we've been waiting for a puppy it's very hard for them to get a puppy and actually like have it for more than 10 seconds so we found a puppy on there and it happened to say that the date the puppy would be available to get or to adopt would be 127 um and we had looked probably like three days ago and so 127 is my fiance kevin's birthday so i was like oh my gosh it's meant to be we've been waiting for a puppy it's going to be available on your birthday well when i so thankfully i talked to my mom and was telling her about it and she said to call the animal well welfare center i don't know why that's so hard for me to say to call the animal welfare center and make sure the puppy's still available and see if you need to fill out an application and all of that so thankfully we did that that was a must tip number one call ahead because if i would not have done that i don't think we'd be in this situation anyways we filled out an application online before calling them because we didn't know if that made a difference or if we had to do that um and so i filled out that and then i never heard anything so i didn't know if i should be expecting an email should i not so i called um up to the center and they asked um what puppy we were interested in and if we knew her name and her um pen number which was online and i gave it to them and they did say that she was a popular puppy and that a few people had already called about her um and basically the lady over the phone was an angel and said if you want that puppy i would get to the animal shelter very early and wait the shelter opens at 8 30. she said i would wait and make sure you're the first person in line because the first person in line gets...
